A: 'Hum shuro kaise kare?' (How shall we begin?) he asked with a frown.
R: 'I think I have an idea. Hum aisa karte hai ke hum sab se pehle apne team members ko kehte hai ke woh un couples, joh ke victim hai, unka bare mein achi tarah pata kare aur unse sawal puche. Aur joh bhi information unhe mile voh hume bheej de. Idhar se hum logon ki puch tach karenge' (I think a have an idea. First we let our team members to get hold of all the victims and ask them as many questions as possible. All the information will be then sent to us and here we will try to ask people around) she said confidently.
A: 'Lekin hum yeh sab kaise karenge? (But how will we do our job) he asked confused.
R: 'Sabar karo main batati ho. Dekho...yaha bahut se activities hai jisme hum participate karsakte hai jaisa ke dance lessons, guiding tours, wave running (jet skiing) etc, etc. Yeh maine sab pata karliya that jab tum bathroom mein the. Hum in cheezo mein participate karke un logon ke kareeb jaa sakte hai joh instructors hai, teachers hai, guide karne vale hai vaghaira, vaghaira. Hum un logo ko kareeb se dekh payenge aur dekhlenge ke unki kya personality hai, kaha kaam karte hai, kaise kaam karte hai aur kis time pe. Phir hum dekhenge ke kya un mein se koi hai jispe shak kya jaa sakta hai. Upar se main journalist banne ka natak kar rahi ho. Main araam se logo se puch sakti ho, unki photo le sakti, notes likh sakhti ho. Aur agar koi kahe ke main honeymoon pe ayi ho to mera jawab ho ga ke main adat ki majboor hon. Ke jab aap journalist ho toh 24/7 job pe hote ho. Aur tum toh ek fitness instructor ho. Yehi logon ko pata chale gah toh voh automatically tumhare paas ayenge aur tumse tips puchenge. Is tarah tum sab logo se arame se baat kar pao ge. Toh batao...kaisa hai plan?' (If you wait a second I will tell you. Look...there are lots of activities we can participate in like dance lessons, guiding tours, wave running (jet skiing) etc, etc. I got hold of this information while you were in bathroom. By participating in the activities we can get close to those people who work as instructors, teachers, guides and so on. We can closely follow what kind of personality they have, where and how they work also at what time. Then we can try to figure out if any of them are suspicious enough. The other thing is I'm pretending to be a journalist. It will make it easy for me to ask people around, to take their pictures and write things down. If people point out that I'm on honeymoon then I will tell them it's a force of habit. When you're a journalist you work 24/7. Then you are fitness instructor and when people will find that out they will automatically come to you to ask for tips and advice. This way you will get in touch with people. So tell me...what do you think of my idea?) she said pleased.
A: 'I hate to admit...lekin plan acha hai' (I hate to admit...but it's a good plan) he said with great difficulty.
R: 'I know it is' she said with a smug.
A: 'Itni khush na ho. Yeh toh sirf ek plan hai. Ab dekhna hai ke tumhara plan hit hota hai ke flop' (Don't get too excited about it. At this stage it's only a plan. We will see in the future if your plan is a hit or a flop) he said in a grumpy tone.
R: 'Awww...Armaan toh jealous ho raha he ke usko yeh idea pehle kyon nahi mila. Bechara!' (Awww...Armaan is getting jealous because he didn't get this idea in the first place) she said like she was talking to a little child.
A: *gives a nasty look*
R: *laughs*
Armaan left the table to sit on the sofa and sulk for a while. Riddhima on the other hand went to call the bureau. Nikki and Abhi was on duty so she told them about the latest plan and what they needed to do to further help them solving the case. Nikki and Abhi assured Riddhima that they and the rest of the team would immediately begin with interviewing the couples and send over the info. Riddhima thanked them and ended the phone call.
R: 'Armaan...jab tumne roothna khatam kardiy ho ga toh tum idhar aa sakte ho?' (Armaan...when you are done sulking...then can you come over here?) she said annoyed. 'Abhi humne ek aur zuroori baat karni hai' (We need to talk about one more thing).
A: 'Kya?' (What?) he said still pouting.
R: 'Body language' she said and puffed out some air.
A: 'Now we are talking' he said grinning naughtily.
R: 'Arre...voh vali body language nahi! Tum aur tumhara one track mind. Mera matlab ke hume apne behaviour ko dekhna padhe ga. Akhir hum logo ki nazron mein shadi shuda hai toh hume vaise hi behave karna padhe ga' (Oh...not that kind of bodylanguage! You and your one track mind. I mean we should look at our own behaviour. In the eyes of the people we are after all married and we should behave like that too) she said rolling her eyes.
A: 'Aise?' (Like this?) he said and walked over to Riddhima.
Standing in front of her he carefully took Riddhima's hand in his and moved it slowly upwards so he could kiss the back of her hand. He did that while looking deeply into Riddhima's eyes. For a second or two Riddhima completely froze. She didn't know what to do or how to react. Then realising what was happening she pulled away her hand quickly.
R: 'Uh...err...jee hanh...bilkul aise' (Uh...err...yes...exactly like that) she said a bit uncomfortable.
A: 'Hey...main tumhe sirf preview dekha raha tha. Yeh nah ho ke baad mein tum mere pe sexual harassment ka case kar do' (Hey...this was only a preview so you won't press any charges on me for sexual harassment in the future) he said defensively.
R: 'Ab ke liye bas itna preview kafi hai. Lekin ek aur bat yaad rakhna...ke mujhe zuroorat se ziayda chune ke kosish bhi mat karna varna main sach much tum pe case kardongi' (Well the preview was more than enough for now. But remember one more thing...don't you dare try to touch me more than necessary or I really will press charges on you) she said sternly.
A: 'Oye...mujhe tumhe chune ka koi shauk nahi. Main sirf practice kar raha tha. Main? Aur tumhe touch karo? No thank you!' (Oye...I have no urges to touch you. I was only practising. Me? And touch you? No thank you!) he said wiping of his hand against his shorts.
R: 'Haww!!! Main itni bhi buri nahi hon' (Haww!!! I'm not that bad) she said almost feeling offended.
A: 'Tum nahi ho?! Kabhi ek mard ke nazron se toh dekho toh phir tumhe pata chale ga. Mujhe lagta hai ke future mein tum akeli raho gi 10-20 billio ke sath' (You're not?! If you ever tried to see yourself through a man's eyes you would've known. I think in the future you will probably be living alone with at least 10-20 cats) he said making fun of Riddhima.
R: 'Aur tum bano ge agle Hugh Heffner!' (And you will become the next Hugh Heffner) she said sarcastically.
A: 'Well...phir mera future toh tumse ziayda bright lag raha hai. Tum janwaron ke saath raho gi aur main janwaron ki tarah...' (Well...then my future looks brighter than yours. You will live with animals and I will like an animal have...) he said naughtily.
R: 'Armaan!!! For God sake; aage mat bolna!' (Armaan!!! For God sake; don't say another word!) she almost screamed.
A: *laughs out loud*
In pure anger Riddhima grabbed one of the cushions from the sofa and threw at Armaan. She tried to hit him with 1, 2, 3 cushions but Armaan ducked every time. He teased her for throwing like a girl. Then she grabbed her handbag. With great force Riddhima hurled it at Armaan and it hit him right in the belly! Armaan let out an oomph and Riddhima raised her hands and shouted score! She was doing her victory dance when she accidentally stepped on something. She looked down and saw that all of her things scattered all over the floor. Riddhima began picking up all the contents to put them back in her bag while Armaan went over to sit on the sofa. He suddenly understood why women threw handbags...because they seriously hurt. His six pack abs did not stand a chance against a teeny tiny bag which had been hurled with great speed and precision. Riddhima had almost finished when something small and shiny caught her eye. It was a wedding band. She was supposed to wear it as a part of her undercover but had completely forgotten about it. She stared at the ring for a while and then heaved a sigh. Bending down she picked it up and held in her hand. How could something so small feel so heavy?
R: 'Armaan...tumhari angothi kaha hai?' (Armaan...where's your ring?) she asked with a slight tension in her voice.
A: 'Kaunsi angothi? (Which ring?) he asked confused.
R: 'Aise wali' (Like this one) she said holding the ring between her thumb and index finger.
A: 'Oh...voh wali!' (Oh...that one!) he said unhappy. 'Kahi ho gi' (It must be somewhere).
R: 'Toh dhondo na. Hume voh apne mission ke liye chah ye' (Then please search for it. We need it for our mission) she said annoyed.
A: *mutters* 'Ab toh asli biwi ki tarah behave karne lag gayi' (And now she's behaving like a real wife)
R: 'Kuch kaha? (Did you say something?) she said looking at Armaan suspiciously.
A: 'Err...nahi...maine kaha main dhoondta hon' (Err...nothing...I said I will look for it) he said trying to save his skin.
Armaan went over to search through his things. He looked everywhere before finding it in one of his socks in his suitcase. He held the ring in his hand and stared at it. Then he looked at Riddhima; she had a funny expression on her face.
A: 'Tum vohi soch rahi ho jo main soch raha ho?' (Are you thinking what I'm thinking) he asked tensed.
R: 'I think so' she said equally tensed.
Both took a step forward and stopped. They stared it each other for a few seconds...before going 'naah!'. Armaan put his ring on his own hand and so did Riddhima and both walked in different directions.
