LOL n shes my devil incarnate, lol i talk to her everyday, bechaari texts me from UK nd i never have balance to reply🤔🤣 poor her money, shes probably so busy in work right now, i cannot be on IF wdout her, so im missing her, coz i just love her too much nd lol dont tell this to her🤣

Heyya Beautiful Ladies And Gentlemen,

I am finally back after 3 days with a short installment. It also is the final installment. Nothing more to say. I talk too much every time I turn up for an update. Enjoy.

Chapter #14(C) : A Little Lighter

"Muski, I want to tell you something," Ridhima said, uncertainly.

And now she tells me, thought Muskaan. "Yeah sure. Go on. I am all ears." said Muskaan, innocently.

Ridhima drew a huge breath and before long phrasing sentences to narrate her story. She din't have the courage to look at Muskaan directly on her face. Yet, she managed to talk her heart out on the one last bit that she had kept hidden for long from Muskaan.

When she was done, she sighed. Feeling strangely content, she slowly looked up to Muskaan, wondering what to expect. Muskaan was looking with blank expressions. Apparently, Muskaan was an awesome actress. Muskaan gave a long stare at her and Ridhima simply hushed a 'sorry' with a pout. Muskaan suddenly beamed at her and although, Ridhima found it unexpected, she accepted it, probing less on its reasons.

"So, aage kya?" asked Muskaan enthusiastically. She had been dying to hear Ridhima's side of the whole thing.

"As in?"

"As in what are you going to do about it?"

"What can I do about it?"

"Acha Acha. So, this guy. Whoever he is, what will you do if he gets back?"

Ridhima broke into silence. Unable to find an answer herself, she had roamed about this question for the past few days. She had broken her head. There was a time when she cared about it, when she literally drained herself into the prospect of having someone in life to look forward to. But now. Now, that hope had driven her too much. It wasn't the same anymore. She had spent time considering everything. Yes, all her life she was hopeful. Hopeful, not just for this, but for every damn thing that's crossed her way. She had pushed it off, with nothing but optimism. But it seemed all that divinely positive attitudes were now overcome by her humanly doubts. Doubts as to when her wait will end. Doubts as to whether she was a fool to have pushed forward everything in the name of hope, something usual people tended to have less.

For all she knew, this wait was nearing its end in her. She had better things to do. Things she din't even want to think about. She wasn't a goddess. She was human. And she wanted to feel so that way. She was tired, that was the end point. Tired of being dragged into every possible nutty thing in life and then just swashed away back. It just din't feel right at the end of the day. It was like one huge test where all that was happening was her being tested. No answers. No results.

2 years had gone by and now the existence of that person awaiting her, seemed so bleak that she had literally forgotten to think how might endure his coming after all. She will thank him and respect him. But love him? The question mark laid so huge in her heart. Sometimes, when her head overpowered her mind, she wondered what a fool she was to tag the whole thing 'love' when she knew love was way too deep a feeling. It seemed like she had been revolving all her 2 years around that one hope. Or better to say, that one illusion. It was no longer about him or his appearance. It was about how much she had drowned herself in that part of her life, without realizing what might be the outcome if never such a man turned up.

When she had thought about it from this angle deep, it was deep enough for her to feel less expectant about the whole thing. And now it was merely like a memory. A memory she loved, yet a memory that killed her the more she thought about it.

Ridhima, biting her lips searching an answer, finally replied.

"I don't know." It was the most honest answer she had with her.

Muskaan's glow faltered.

"Where is Vivi?," asked a lazied Rahul.

"I don't know," said Armaan, dropping his video game controls and falling back, feeling extraordinary warm.

"Hopefully Aditi will leave him alive for today at least" chuckled Rahul.

Armaan joined him.

Just then, the door clicked and they saw the aged figure walk towards them in kurti.

"Dad?" leapt Armaan, in surprise.

"Finally, I hear that," fake - groaned Billy, extremely good looking for his age.

They came forward for a long hug. When they parted, Billy patted Rahul and congratulated him on his happy occasion.

"Aah! I see a happy union." came Naina's voice from behind.

Armaan smiled. Although he had met his dad after he came back, it was a different story altogether, then.

The four broke into a conversation before deciding that it was time to get into the day's works.

And that's done too. Will be back in another 3 days with Part 15 (A) Comments and Likes, jaanis? Criticism too is welcome. ONE THING. This part just brought out a new perspective to the story. After this part, I don't want you guys to judge Ridhima being a confused character. She is not. She is this type of person who churns every possible angle in head and come to different conclusions. But in the end, she is straight.😳 There is lot more coming to support this. But I had to tell this now itself. <3 And yeah, I will send PMs tomorrow. Because I have a long list and I am sure how far I can send today.
