The return journey was done in breakneck speed, it is a miracle they are still alive thought Khushi as she followed Arnav who strode into the house after bringing the car to a halt in the evening...

Chhote!! Exclaimed Anjali who was sitting at the dining table and helping the children of the servants who work in the house with their homework, what are you doing here...I thought you are on honeymoon!!

Di what am I hearing...I mean Naniji in the morning called me up ...

Khushi went back to her room to see Arnav half undressed without his shirt, speaking to someone on the phone….

Anjali was sitting in her room, watching TV but not registering anything, she knew her brother, he was very possessive about her, she was his anchor, he was hardly 14 when that incident happened, Anjali remembered those days which followed, he could not sleep alone, most of the days crying in his sleep, clutching her hand…Anjali was afraid of losing him to some mental case but then it was Nani who said, love and time are the only healing factors…

Oh how many times Anjali sat outside his class as he attented school and how many times he sat next to her as she worked in the tailoring shop, following her like puppy, not that Anjali was hurt anything less but then it is for him, Anjali had to forget her own grief…

One day Arnav suddenly grew up, the day, the school principal paid him for designing the dresses for school annual function, a special prize and appreciation was also made during the prize distribution ceremony, the shy, scared boy suddenly became confident as he was pushed by his sister to walk to the stage to receive it…

Anjali was worried, she knew much as her brother looked confident and hauty, he was still an insecured boy inside, she knew he was worried about her, she was still his lifeline which he never wanted to let go, he must be now desperate to find out more about Dev….knowing Dev who did not speak much about himself nor wanted to know about Anjali, though he dropped her home, had juice here today morning, he never asked till now, whom this house belongs to…yes many in the locality there were many rich people and in Delhi people liked to keep themselves to themselves, Anjali was not sure how would Dev take her brother's possessive attitude …
