Part 4

hello guys, i am in a hurry today. so no blah blah from me.😆😆...happy reading and do comment please. it means a lot to me.

A new day started again with a new hope for Awdesh. He was all ready and was practicing on how to express his love in front of the mirror.

Awdesh –"arpitha, I Love you. Nah…Arpithaji, I think I am in love with you…No…ummm…I fell in love with you…disaster…"

He closed his eyes for a while and saw her smiling face and her beautiful eyes fixed in his memory.

Awdesh (still closing his eyes) – "Arpitha, donna, why but I always want to be with you. Your presence gives him great joy, even if it's utter silence. I can live without you, but only by body will survive. My heart will always feel for you all my life. If this is called love, then yes, I am Madly in LOVE with you. Will you marry me?"

Finally deciding on what he is going to tell her, Awdesh blushed.

Awdesh – "a good flower should make it perfect."

Awdesh understood in a flick on what and which flower to gift her. He hurried outside.

Arpitha came out and faced the bright sun shining high in the sky. She wanted to forget that she ever had liked a man called Awdesh. How best can she do that? After long stressing on the issue, she had found that, she just needed to shift her interest of LOVE to something else. That's it. She decided to go out for ice cream, which was not possible at the moment in the village. She decided to think over and find, what gave her outmost happiness.

Arpitha (excited) – "kids. Yes. Now where do I find them?"

Arpitha walked around and found a few kids playing around hide and seek. She walked to them and requested to join. The kids openly welcomed her and they started to play. She tremendously enjoyed playing forgetting that she was a grown up. Arpitha was now bored with the game.

Arpitha – "lets switch over. Let's play some other game. I'll blind fold you, and write something on your palm, you should recognize and tell me."

The kids nodded and arpitha blind folded one of the kids and they started to play. Awdesh came searching for her and found her really cute playing around with the kids. He interpreted the game and an idea struck him. It was arpitha's turn next and the kids blind folded her. Awdesh moved slowly and hushed the kids. The kids smiled.

Arpitha – "ok, I am ready. Write whatever you want, I'll find out. Come on"

Awdesh slowly put his finger and scripted something on her palm letter by letter.

Arpitha made faces as the touch sent tingles on her palm. She bit her tongue and her face was lightened by a smile, when she could really interpret what was being written.

Arpitha (with pauses) – "I LOVE YOU. Ok. I got. It's I love you… oh dear, I LOVE you too sugar."

Saying her words, arpitha unblended herself, to see that the kids were all smiling. She felt strange. The finger that wrote on her palm was very endearing; the finger touched her very gently. Arpitha could think of no one else but him now. Closing her eyes she tried her mind not to recall him, she cleared her lips that dried due to the hot sun.

Arpitha – "come on kids lets have some water."

Arpitha moved inside the cottage, while Awdesh smiled standing behind the tree.

Awdesh – "wish you would tell me that you love me in real. I love you too arpitha. I will give you these flowers and tell you how I feel for you. I think I am going crazy about you."

He hit his head gently with the flowers and found that he needed better attire. After all it was his big day. Coming out from his cottage, he found none of them. Neither arpitha nor the kids were to be found. He decided to wait near her cottage.

The day passed and the noon almost to end. Awdesh was worried now. He searched everywhere and finally reached the end of the village. The children were playing and there was no sign of arpitha with them. He hastened to the kids.

Awdesh – "where is the girl, with whom you were playing in the morning?"

One kid – "we were playing hide and seek near hear and she is hiding from morning."

Awdesh was really worried now.

Awdesh came near the kid and sat down on his knees and asked him carefully.

Awdesh – "what happened really. Tell me clearly."

The kid – "we started playing. Kitty was the seeker. I and didi started to hide behind the tree there. Then I was caught and didi still hid behind the tree and then she didn't come out. We went there to find didi and didn't find her from then."

Awdesh was really worried now. He stood up and paced hurriedly into the forest. The sun said good bye and the birds were flying back to their nests. The forest made deep and fearful sounds as Awdesh moved in further. He had been searching for her from the past 3 hours and darkness of the night is already spreading around. He had no clue of her and walked in long distance in search of her. Awdesh was growing restless. By hook or crook, he had to find her; weird ideas started creeping into his mind. Did she get lost in the forest? Did she slip and hit any rock sending her unconscious? Did she land up encountering any wild animal? All these thoughts had kept him worried.

He heard some dried leaves being crushed under someone's feet. A ray of hope passed through him. He ran in the direction of the sound and could only see a rabbit hopping around. Disappointed, Awdesh moved ahead and reached some river. Following the stream, he remembered how she looked at her herself in the river when he said that her eyes weren't beautiful. He smiled and her absence made tears flow out from his eyes.

He could smell the smoke and somehow his heart said that this should be arpitha now. He moved ahead of the bushes and found arpitha lying down on the big flat rock with her back supported to some small rock. The stream flowed a few inches away without touching her feet. She put a bonfire and was facing the sky. He wondered how courageous she was. He moved near and she didn't recognize it. He moved further and found that she was fast asleep.

Awdesh sat beside her and smiled at her with tears in his eyes. He wanted to hug her and tell her that she was safe. Arpitha moved and pulled her skirt covering her legs to escape the cold. Awdesh came near her and held her carefully in his arms, not disturbing her sleep. He encased her in his arms and ma her feel the warmth. Arpitha responded immediately and held him as if a pillow. Awdesh caressed her hair and planted a kiss on her forehead.

Her breath told him that she was quite tired walking around and wouldn't wake up at any cost. Awdesh pulled her closer just to make her more comfortable. He couldn't sleep. All that he would think is her. He played with her hair for some time and found it very great. He curled her hair round and round and places it on her face. He then would himself place it back and smile at her glorious look at sleep. He wished the night never to end. He took out her hand and wrote it again. I LOVE YOU.

Arpitha murmured something in sleep and smiled at her own words. Unclear of it, Awdesh wrote again and forwarded his ear to her lips to hear clearly.

Arpitha –"I l..o..ve u..too…" and kissed his cheek.

Awdesh's heart was filled with joy. He pulled her closer and held her tight in his arms and watched her sleep peacefully.
