FF: New York times Thread 5 Completed 10/03 - Page 40

Alright it wasn't a shock that NY Times ended..but ermm it ended too soon..somehow there is something missing..still at the end it was a story and it had to end some day...but truly it was a journey a beautiful journey of exploring oneself..your friends and your better half...and embracing each and everyone as they are...having expectations from the one we love and shedding inhibitions and barriers that were erected long back...though its being open to the one..its worth it!

I've so many memories attached with this FF of yours...so much that at times I saw myself in Geet's shoes need I tell you ? I guess not coz I feel I've been there with you throughout the journey letting you know my feelings and thoughts though I've been late at times...but you have been patient !

Somehow I dunno what to say and so I won't say much..but this is true I'll miss this one..it was way too close to me than even you can imagine...thanks for writing this one...and I'm so glad you wrote this one coz personally I feel you've evolved too much as a writer...your a wonderful human being and an artist... 😊

One suggestion btw...I don't care much about the pdf or anything..but I would really like it if you published this as a book... NY Times By Hasini :))) and hey books are not just written and printed for selling purpose are they ?

I love the way u ended ur FF, it shows that it is just the beginning of a wonderful relationship between Maan and Geet. Communication will be more fluid between them, there will be more of a mutual understanding.

NY times was very real in feelings, it felt right, no overdramatization and not surreal I mean to say it is close to reality type. It had its moments when you could want to only dream and have the "hot chocolate" feeling too but also it had in moments where ur heart will ache for Geet, Naini, Maan or Rishab. Human are very complicated and every relationship we have with another person is not necessarily easy. This is one aspect that u depicted very well in ur FF- the complexity of relationships.

I'm very sad that NY times is over but very happy to have read such a wonderful story thanks to you. Oh i know u dont like when we praise you.. lol but cant stop it..

Anyways am looking foward to Mr Iyer and Mrs Khurana now.. 😊

Hey i got to read ur last update after 3 days... finally!!!

Beautiful ending to a beautiful journey of two different individuals... who are now a perfect couple balancing each others imperfections...accepting them the way they are.

It came a full circle by ending it again at the central park... where they started by her promise... and now made some decisions of life as a couple. Free off all their inhibititons, & being in front of each other without their layers but just themselves...without expectations & at same time having their thoughts alligned at the same plane... loved the whole journey...👏👏👏

The valley mourns the loss of a leader...a creator...an innovator.

Hats off to you for giving us this wonderful ff.I really loved the part where Maan opened up.It was indeed a great journey.I loved every couple in this one.

So I actually read the update days ago but couldn't come around to getting my thoughts together to write a comment that this actually deserves. And this definitely doesn't suit it either but here goes...

Long long ago when I started my IF journey my first comment ever was on NYT. I was so hooked on your writing that I read all I think forty or so parts in one go and couldn't get enough. I remember the first thing I would do every morning is check to see if you had updated. I would usually be late to class because of this but it was worth it. The story you weaved is simply a piece of art. Often stories such as this one become lost in complexity but you are the few gifted enough to carry it out with understanding. The way emotions and dialogues were executed through your words was nothing short of real and amazing. The fact that you could transport me so deep within their thoughts and make me feel as if I was there is one of my favorite aspects of this story. I'm sad it's come to an end but I will always be grateful to you for all the wonderful experiences you've let us be a part of through your writing. The most unforgettable and favorite of many of us, is the infamous hot chocolate. So thank you for this remarkable journey Hasini, it was absolutely wonderful.

I can't believe it's over!!! Well, I have a lot of catching up to do!!! A LOT!!!😆
