.31. Abhay noticed that Pia turned numb. There wasn't any expression on her pale face. She just kept her eyes closed suffering from pain. He felt so bad for overeacting and compelling her to take a wrong decision. He pulled a blanket on her and went to meet the doctor to ask if he could take her home. "Are you sure you can take care of her at home?",Dr. Vaishali asked. "Sure! Why not?",Abhay said. "Then you can take her home",she said. "Thanks doc",he said and was about leave her cabin when she called him again. "Mr. Raichand, can I ask you something?",she asked. Abhay again sat infront of her. "Yes doc?",he asked. "Pia's condition shows that she's suddenly fallen sick and even her mental state is disturbed. I'm a neurologist too, I understand when a person is suffering from pressure. Tell me properly what exactly happened? She can't fall so sick just by getting wet in the rain",she said. Abhay hung his head in guilt and said,"Actually doc we had some problems, she misunderstood me and later I overeacted and tried to break up with her. Maybe I pushed her beyond normal limits. And then today morning she attempted suicide". "Suicide?",she asked in disbelief. "How could you do this Abhay?",she said. "I didn't expect her to react like this",he quietly replied. "But I'm really sorry, I'll never ever hurt her. Whatever I did, won't repeat",he said. "Where does she live?",she asked. "With me ofcourse",he said. "Your parents?",she asked. "They like her",he said. "Then take her back and keep her happy. She's very fragile, if you hurt her she's gonna break",she said. "Ok doc",he said. "Take care of her",she said again. Abhay signed all the required documents and went to Pia's room. She was sleeping with a worried look. Abhay gently took her in his arms and left. Haseena had come by this time. She took Pia backseat while Abhay drove the car. "Abhay make sure this doesn't happen again. I shouldn't find her hurt because of you, didyou hear me?",she asked. "Yep mom",he said smiling. Everyone was ordering him to take care of his own beloved. "Don't sound casual, this is serious. It's so insane that you pushed her so much that she tried to kill herself",she scolded. "Mom, please. I know what to do",he said. "I'll tell you what you'll do. You're not gonna be anywhere near her. I'll take care of her. She's like my daughter",she said. "Mom she's my girlfriend",he said. "So what? She tried suicide because of you so you won't stay with her",she said sternly. "Ok as you wish",he said sadly. When they reached their mansion, Haseena took Pia upto Abhay's room and locked the door. She saw Pia getting up. So she said,"Pia, don't get up. You're still weak. Sleep while I bring you hot chocolate. Okay?" "Hmm",she replied. Haseena was so kind to her, she thought. When Haseena came outside, she found Abhay standing with a sulking face. She closed the door and said,"I wasn't kidding". "So where am I gonna stay?",he asked. "Next door, in Jordon's empty room",she said. "My clothes?",he said. "I'll bring them out",she said. Abhay went in that room, quiet in defeat. Pia was still shivering. She was trying not to think about Abhay, it was making her sad. She silently cried. Haseena came in and found her crying. "Don't cry Pia, be strong. Always remember that when a boy hurts you by rejecting you, you should make him realize that he made the biggest mistake by rejecting you. Don't break down but break him down",she said. Pia smiled and said,"You're so nice aunty". "You can call me mom or Haseena 'cause I'm really young",she said winking an eye. "Yeah, I always wondered Abhay has such a young and gorgeous mom. You're so good right from heart",she said laughing. "And one thing Pia, you are not to allow Abhay in this room",she said. "Mom? What are you saying? This is his room, how can I do this!",Pia said. "Look this is my house and I don't want him infront of you. He had hurt you so I'm not allowing him to be near you.",she said."But mom how can I live without talking to him?",Pia asked.Haseena smiled and spoke in her ear,"I know him very well.He'll try every trick to talk to you.Just keep on acting rude.It's said that small quarrels bring lovers closer". Pia giggled and said,"You know mom,it's so cool to discuss with your boyfriend's mom about your love.You're the best mom in this world.I wish I had a mom like you, I wish my adoptive parents hadn't hurt me",she said suddenly turning sad."I know.Raveena was my sister,she's always been so heartless.I'm sorry about how much you suffered.But now that I am with you,don't take any worry.You're my daughter now",she said proudly.Pia drank her hot chocolate and suddenly her phone vibrated.Abhay had sent a message saying,'Pia am really sorry.Please tell mom to let me see you.I really love you'.Pia smiled towards Haseena."See I told you!",Haseena said. Pia replied,'I don't reply strangers'. 'You're gonna pay for this',was the reply. Pia knew what he would do.
