Part 61 Party time

They met for the breakfast. They were not able to look into each other's eyes. Whenever Maan's eyes fell on Geet, she was blushing. She was shy as well as nervous. There was something weird in her behavior which he had never seen before.

Whenever their eyes met, they instantly moved away their eyes in different direction. For the first time, Geet was looking at Maan in a totally different way. She respected him as a man of her life who could support her, who could give his own life for her and who would never leave her alone. She knew that she wanted to be with him. There was a different spark in her eyes whenever she looked at him.

"People say that eyes say a lot but sometimes not looking into eyes could say a lot too."

They were talking into totally different language. They didn't need to use words to express their feelings. Verbal communication was over rated in their world.

They didn't want to generate more awkwardness as they had to get ready for a client meeting. They successfully finished a client meeting without having awkwardness between them. Luckily they got this deal and it was the celebration time. Client got impressed by their hard work hence client had organized a party for them. They were the guest of honor for the party.

They had to finish certain tasks before the party in the evening. Geet noticed that she didn't have any party dress.

"Maan''''Maan''''.."Geet spoke hesitantly.

"What's going on Geet? You look little nervous. Why are you fidgeting?"Maan asked.

Geet wasn't able to utter a word hence Maan asked her again. "Geet, just say it."

"Maan, I don't have any party dress, I need to buy a saree or something for today's party."Geet said.

"Geet, that's it. Your nervousness was killing me worried. You get nervous so easily on such a small thing. We can go for shopping."Maan said.

"Maan, I will go alone. I will take a driver with me. You don't need to take trouble for me."Geet requested.

"No Geet, this is a new city. You can't go alone. I can't take a chance."Maan told her.

"Maan, I will go by myself. Don't worry about me."Geet told him.

"Geet, you are not arguing with me about this. I am coming with you. And that's a final."Maan told her with finality.

His eyes were intense and finality was written on his face so Geet decided to get along with his idea.

"Ok, Maan, I will meet you at hotel lobby in half an hour and we will leave for shopping."Geet told him and she left.

They reached to the mall and Maan's eyes fell on a pink saree. It was beautifully carved with nice designs. It was just perfect to allure her beauty.

Geet went into the store and started to look for a saree.

"Geet, do you like this saree? Could you pleaes try it?"Maan asked her coquettishly.

Geet knew it hence she was in no mood to defeat and she told him, "I will try it only on one condition."

"Ok and what is that?"Maan asked surprisingly.

"You will wear today the business suit which I will select. You are not going to wear this man in black suit which you wear on a daily basis. Are you ok with this deal?"Geet told him with a smirk.

"Geet, what is wrong with my man in black suit? Since when did you start making deals?"Maan asked.

"There is nothing wrong in it but you have to listen to me. That is the condition. Oh ya I started making deals since the day I joined Khurana Construction. After all, I have to work with biggest deal maker."Geet told him with smile.

"Ok Queen, as you say so. I will do it but please don't buy pink suit for me to have the revenge for pink saree."Maan told her with a smirk.

Maan's eyes were wide open with the awe of her beauty when she adorned her with pink saree. If he was man in black, then she is definitely devil in pink.

Geet flaunted in her pink saree and moved around him like there was no one else and she was just wearing it for him only.

Of course Maan bought her a pink saree and Geet found a blue suit for him and he had to wear it.

Not one person had missed these two on the party night. They were beautiful like Mumtaz and Shahjahan had come alive in their form. They were happy together. There was a different spark in their eyes whenever they looked at each other. Their love was apparent.

When they talked, it felt like no one existed in this world. When they looked at each other, it felt like world had been standstill. When they danced together on the dance floor, it felt like no one could dance that gracefully the way they did. Their each movement was co-ordinated like the way Beethoven's fingers moved swiftly on piano.

That night was indeed special as they were enjoying each other's company without any restrictions. They felt the same exhillarating spirit when one soul got connected to the other special soul.
