"Here we go Mam.. " The cab driver spoke bringing her to the destination.. Shilpa came out of her thoughts and took a hesitant look at the building infront of her
"Thank you.. " She murmured softly and took her bag and baby carrier in her hand.. She paid to the cab driver who gave a smile and drove off..
"So this is it.. " She whispered softly staring at the building infront of her.. The residence where Armaan lived.. Not Armaan now.. Steve She acknowledged sadly.. Shilpa was thankful Mr.Bose had provided her the address.. She remembered the way Sameer and Raj worried for her safety.. She knew she was going to do something pretty dangerous.. On the way to London she was still deciding whether she was doing right or not..With a heavy sign she stared down at the baby carrier in her hand.. Arav slept soundly and with such a peace that made her eyes grow misty.. "I am doing this for you Arav.. You deserve to have back your father.. " If its really him..
Gaining the courage inside her she headed the to the main door.. Slowly she rang the bell and hid the baby carrier behind.. She couldn't risk the safety of Arav.. Shilpa waited with a thudding heart.. Would he be home.. What if he refused to meet her.. She thought worriedly.. Just then the door flew open and a short bald man stood infront of her.. "Yes.. " He muttered with a frown.. Shilpa lowered her gaze as she noticed him studying her curiously..
"I.. I need to meet Steve.. " She replied strongly Slowly she raised her gaze at the man who was still staring at her suspiciously
"Sorry to disappoint you but " He hesitated. "Steve isint here right now.. "
"Oh " Shilpa took a step back disappointedly.. "How long will it take for him to return.. ? "
"I cant say.. " The man replied stiffly.. "I just know he wont be back any soon.. What is ur name ?" He asked curiously..
"Shilpa Malhotra.. " Shilpa replied hesitantly
Shilpa shook her head trying to decide what to do.. Deep inside she had a feeling that this man was lying to her.. His behavior was strange.. As if trying to hide something.. Shilpa felt a sudden fear rise in her

"If I could wait.. " Her words trailed off seeing the man glare at her.. "I really need to meet him.. Its very urgent.. "
Robin stared at her uncertainly for a while.. With a sigh he opened the door for her.. "Come in. "
"Thank you so much.. " Shilpa gave a grateful smile and followed him inside.. She clutched the baby carrier close , praying in her heart Arav wouldn't wake.. The man directed her to take a seat , Shilpa set down in the sofa hurriedly and clutched the baby carrier close to her so the man wouldn't notice..
Robin muttered softly.. "I cant say when Steve would be back.. But you can wait here.. I will inform you as I get any news about him.. "
Shilpa gave a small nod and stared at him until he left hurriedly.. Taking a breath of relief she put aside the blanket seeing the face of her baby.. Thankful that he was still asleep
David got out of his shower when suddenly Robin hurried inside.. "David.. We have a problem.."
"And what would that be now. " He muttered suddenly growing alert..
"There is a girl.. Looks like a Indian.. And she is looking for Steve.. "
David tensed instantly "Looking for Steve.. ?? What did you tell her.. "
"I lied " He spoke quickly.. "I told her Steve isn't here.. But she wouldn't budge.. She pleaded she needs to see him urgently "
"And what urgency could it just be.. " He whispered suspiciously
Shilpa didn't knew why, but she did have a feeling that something was wrong.. Restlessly she took her belongings in her hand and walked inside carefully.. Maybe she shouldn't have rushed to this.. She thought worriedly..She walked around slowly when suddenly she heard voices coming from the room infront of her..
"And where is she now " A harsh voice spoke angrily Shilpa tensed realizing they were talking about her..
"In the living room " Robin muttered.. "David this is the first time someone has come looking for Steve That also a foreign girl.. I had a feeling something was wrong... "
"That's a big problem for us.. " The man spoke stiffly.. "We need to find out why this women is here And if she is here to create any trouble.. " A bitter smile came on his lips.. "We will have to get rid of her.. "
They want to kill me Shilpa realized horrified.. With a gasp she hurried away instantly trying to find a place to hide.. She had to hide somewhere.. Anywhere until Steve came.. Shilpa kept walking around when her gaze came to a small room in the corner.. She quickened her steps and opened the door hesitantly.. To her relief it turned out to be a store room.. Shilpa walked inside and closed the door.. She set the baby carrier down and her bag down.. And set in the corner trembling
Where are you Armaan ?
The moment Robin walked inside Steve's room he noticed him busy in the paperwork's.. "Steve !! "
Steve had been working continuously for hours.. He had a bad headache and throbbing back.. And he had made it clear of everyone not to disturb him during his work.. He gritted his teeth at he glared furiously at Robin.. "Didint i say dont disturb me at the moment.. "
Robin shifted uncomfortably.. "Steve i know you told me not to disturb you.. But we have a crisis "
"Crisis " He drawled frowning.. "Dont tell me Devlin has got into a new problem.. " He turned around taking a sip from his scotch.. "I have better things to do.. "
"Devlin hasnt got into any new trouble.. We have a unexpected guest in the house.. "
He spun around glaring at him.. "Unexpected guest.. " His featured tightened.. "Our residence is private.. How can someone come without our permission.."
"I know it Steve.. " Robin grew nervous.. "But this guest is a women.. A lady.. Infact not just some lady.. She was asking for you.."
He turned around.. His expressions blank and calm as he stripped of his shirt.. Turning to the mirror he ran hand down his muscled torso glaring down at the recent scars he got due in a fight.. "Who the hell is she ?? And why is she looking for me.. ?" He asked curiously.. He couldnt help but grow furious with the knowlege of a unwanted women in their home..
"Ms. Shilpa.. She said her name is Shilpa Malhotra "
"A indian ??? " His questioning gaze clashed with Robin's through the mirror.. Robin swallowed and nodded silently.. "Yes Steve.. And that is the trouble for us.. We still don't know why she is here "
Steve nodded with a grim look on his face.. He stared down at his own reflection.. A cunning smile formed on his lips.. "Surely a trouble for us... " Her name trailed on his lips... "Ms. Shilpa... "

"That is little difficult to do right now.. " Robin spoke softly " She has gone missing.. "
Steve tensed at once and spun around to face him.. "What you mean missing.. ??? She must be inside the house hiding somewhere.. Go look for her !! "
"I will go now.. " Robin instantly hurried out of the room..
Steve put on his shirt gritting his teeth "Shilpa Malhotra.. You sound so much trouble.. "
Shilpa tensed as the voices neared.. She knew she was in trouble.. This was far more dangerous than she had thought.. Maybe she should have listened to Sameer and Raj.. Maybe she shouldn't have come here alone.. And Arav.. She glanced down at her baby in fear.. What if something happened to him.. But what could have she done.. She couldn't leave Arav alone.. Arav cant be away from his mother he needed her.. Her heart pounded as she heard the footsteps grow near.. Instantly she did what she needed to do.. She took Arav draped in his blanket and put him in the corner.. Arav stirred but grew calm as she patted on his chest lovingly.. A tear slid from her eye as she whispered.. "I am just trying to keep you safe Arav.. Love you "
Shilpa hurried to the middle of the room and set down there so that they would have their attention on her when they find her, instead of Arav who was bundled in the corner She set trembling in fear when suddenly the door flew open.. The man stared down at her with a cruel smile "We have found her."
Shilpa winced as the man dragged her inside a cold room.. He took her by hand and pushed her on the floor roughly.. Shilpa gasped as she got a nasty bruise on her arm.. Whimpering she slid further and leaned to the wall shaking.. "Please.. " She cried softly.. "Let me meet Steve for once.. "
Just then a man walked inside the room.. "Why Steve Darling.. You can talk to me.. "
"Who are you ? " She asked getting some courage..
"David.. " He grinned at her shamelessly and kneeled infront of her.. "Now may I ask why are you looking for Steve.. "
Shilpa looked away feeling intimidated.. The man had no shame as he stared down at her body in lust She grew uncomfortable and spoke stiffly "I need to talk to Steve.. "
"Why Steve? What talk you need to do.. " He inquired suddenly getting angry..
"Whatever it is.. " Shilpa lifted her chin.. "Its non of your business.. "
David gritted his teeth and slapped her furiously "How dare you answer me back.. " Shilpa sobbed quietly touching her burning cheek.. David gripped her chin and raised her face.. "You better understand that you wont go out of here alive.. So don't try to act smart with me.. "
"I will only talk to Steve.. ! " She replied glaring at the man in disgust.. She noticed his eyes grow more cold as he lifted his hand for another blow "You insufferable B "
"Stop right there David ! " Steve spat out as he walked inside the room.. David grew still and stood up instantly
"Steve ! I was just trying to get out information from her.. " David replied with a cruel smile.. "Trust me leave it to me.. I know how to handle such people.. "
"No " Steve replied with a grim look.. "She had to talk to me.. She came looking for me.. So it would be me doing the talking " His gaze slid at the girl who was hidden behind David as he stood infront of her..
"And I don't see any talk done in here other than hitting.. "
David glared at Steve but controlled his anger.. "OK fine.. Do whatever you wont but if she is trouble I want you to get rid of her.. I will go and join Logan and Devlin in club.. "
Shilpa was in shock.. She felt irritated as David stood blocking her view.. Steve was here ! She acknowledged with a thudding heart.. But she couldn't see his face as David stood infront of her.. She listened to their talk dizzily and when suddenly David hurried out of the room, and she faced the man who now stood infront of her.. Steve !
Shilpa gasped as she stared at him stunned.. Her eyes filled up with tears as she studied his features trying to capture his face back in her heart.. This was her Armaan Who now stood infront of her gazing at her curiously...
"So Why were you looking for me Ms Shilpa " He drawled in a dangerous voice..
Shilpa felt a chill run down her spine hearing his voice.. The voice which she had missed all these days.. The voice which still raised her heartbeat.. She stared up at him and smiled not able to control her feelings..
Steve tensed seeing the strange women smile at him.. His breath caught.. She looked breathtaking when she smiled.. As she smiled the frown lines disappeared , making her look more young.. A sudden rush of desire filled inside him.. But then he frowned.. Why the hell was she smiling at him.. Did he know her.. ? Right now she had to feel scared.. She had to be scared that she might be killed any moment.. Why the hell was she happy about ?

Steve came out of his thoughts when Robin spoke impatiently "What are you going to do Steve.. ? "
Steve shrugged his shoulders regaining back his confidence.. "He glared down at her and muttered angrily.. "As david said.. If she is trouble.. We will get rid of her.. "
Shilpa gasped as she stared at him horrified.. He wanted to kill her.. Out of all people she atleast thought he would listen to her.. And like a idiot she had thought he would recognize her.. What was she thinking.. This wasn't her Armaan standing infront of her.. Instead it was the ruthless man Steve glaring down at her.. Suddenly she remember about Arav.. What will happen to him if something happens to her.. She realized shaking in fear
Steve frowned as he noticed her shake.. He did see the way her face had gone pale as he mentioned about killing.. He hadn't really meant to kill her.. He had just wanted to scare her off so that she would spill out the truth.. But instead the way emotions played on her face was frustrating him
"Who are you ? And who have sent you here looking for me.. " Steve questioned kneeling infront of her Shilpa stared at him blankly unwilling to do any reply.. The last thing she wanted to do was talking to him infront of someone.. Whatever talk she had to do she wished to do alone..

Steve felt his eyes grow wide as he heard her voice Why .. Why the hell it sounded so familiar.. He thought frustrated He noticed her eyes and felt himself drowning in the depths of it.. NO ! He couldn't risk to be alone with her.. She seem to have something captivating Something which was drawing him towards her.. The last thing he wanted was being along with her

Steve tensed once again.. How the hell she knew his name Suddenly he got up clenching his fists furiously" Do i know you ?

When she didint bother answering he snapped at Robin
"Kill her ! "
Shilpa went still at once..
"But " Robin hesitated.. "We have to get information..
"No.. ! Kill her NOW !!! " Steve roared and took a step back..
He made the mistake of glancing at her.. Instead of fear he saw pain and hurt in them..
Taken back he took a another step back
"Kill her fast.. " He mummured.. "No need to make her suffer "
He strolled out of the room.. Not having intention of seeing those sorrowful eyes stare at him.. Why the hell was that even bothering him.. He didn't want to know why she was here.. He just knew it was better avoiding her..
That's when Steve realized his mistake.. He didn't do killing.. It was other's job.. But telling Robin to kill her was a wrong step Maybe she really had something important to discuss with him.. Maybe she was just a innocent women who was stuck in this situation unwillingly.. What if she was someone he knew but not in his memory now..
Steve started to pace around..He grew more worried as he tried to take a decision.. He didn't like ordering to kill people.. It wasn't something he was proud of.. Just then He grew still as he heard a wail from the store room.. The place where she had been found hiding.. Cautiously he headed to the door and opened it.. He noticed a something move inside the fluffy blanket which was kept in corner.. He hesitated.. Taking slow steps he kneeled infront of the blanket and opened it..

Blue eyed baby who looked hell a lot like him stared back at him... A women with a baby !!

Shilpa lay on the floor shaking Waiting for it happen.. She closed her eyes tightly just wishing the man would do it fast.. But deep inside she kept praying that he would stop.. She prayed Armaan would come and save her.. What will happen to Arav.. She sobbed helplessly Now she was regretting bringing her baby in such a danger.. Please Armaan Stop this.. Stop this She chanted in her mind But how can he? He was the person who had ordered to kill her.. She realized painfully
Shilpa gasped feeling the blade touch her neck.. This was it It was going to be her end.. She now had no emotions and no feeling.. Everything went blank.. She had come so close to getting back her love.. And failed instantlyFailed
He pressed the blade graze her soft skin.. He was doing it When Suddenly
"Robin!! Stop ! " It was his voice.. Shilpa acknowledged somewhere in her mind.. She felt something ease down from her neck Blood.. She realized in painShe felt she was sinking Had the man already killed her.. That was the last thought which came on her mind as she fully fell into the darkness..

Steve tensed seeing the strange women smile at him.. His breath caught.. She looked breathtaking when she smiled.. As she smiled the frown lines disappeared , making her look more young.. A sudden rush of desire filled inside him.. But then he frowned.. Why the hell was she smiling at him.. Did he know her.. ? Right now she had to feel scared.. She had to be scared that she might be killed any moment.. Why the hell was she happy about ?
And why the hell she looked so familiar..
Steve came out of his thoughts when Robin spoke impatiently "What are you going to do Steve.. ? "
Steve shrugged his shoulders regaining back his confidence.. "He glared down at her and muttered angrily.. "As david said.. If she is trouble.. We will get rid of her.. "
Shilpa gasped as she stared at him horrified.. He wanted to kill her.. Out of all people she atleast thought he would listen to her.. And like a idiot she had thought he would recognize her.. What was she thinking.. This wasn't her Armaan standing infront of her.. Instead it was the ruthless man Steve glaring down at her.. Suddenly she remember about Arav.. What will happen to him if something happens to her.. She realized shaking in fear
Steve frowned as he noticed her shake.. He did see the way her face had gone pale as he mentioned about killing.. He hadn't really meant to kill her.. He had just wanted to scare her off so that she would spill out the truth.. But instead the way emotions played on her face was frustrating him
"Who are you ? And who have sent you here looking for me.. " Steve questioned kneeling infront of her Shilpa stared at him blankly unwilling to do any reply.. The last thing she wanted to do was talking to him infront of someone.. Whatever talk she had to do she wished to do alone..
"If I could talk to you alone.. " She whispered softly..
Steve felt his eyes grow wide as he heard her voice Why .. Why the hell it sounded so familiar.. He thought frustrated He noticed her eyes and felt himself drowning in the depths of it.. NO ! He couldn't risk to be alone with her.. She seem to have something captivating Something which was drawing him towards her.. The last thing he wanted was being along with her
"No ! " He disagreed instantly "Whatever you have to say you have to say infront of Robin.. "
Shilpa shook her head.. "No Steve.. "
Steve tensed once again.. How the hell she knew his name Suddenly he got up clenching his fists furiously" Do i know you ?
Shilpa just stared at him stunned while he hovered over her..
He roared : Don't make me repeat myself.. How the hell do you know me !!
When she didint bother answering he snapped at Robin
"Kill her ! "
Shilpa went still at once..
"But " Robin hesitated.. "We have to get information..
"No.. ! Kill her NOW !!! " Steve roared and took a step back..
He made the mistake of glancing at her.. Instead of fear he saw pain and hurt in them..
Taken back he took a another step back
"Kill her fast.. " He mummured.. "No need to make her suffer "
He strolled out of the room.. Not having intention of seeing those sorrowful eyes stare at him.. Why the hell was that even bothering him.. He didn't want to know why she was here.. He just knew it was better avoiding her..
That's when Steve realized his mistake.. He didn't do killing.. It was other's job.. But telling Robin to kill her was a wrong step Maybe she really had something important to discuss with him.. Maybe she was just a innocent women who was stuck in this situation unwillingly.. What if she was someone he knew but not in his memory now..
Steve started to pace around..He grew more worried as he tried to take a decision.. He didn't like ordering to kill people.. It wasn't something he was proud of.. In his frustration he had spat out to Robin.. Kill her The women whoever she was had surprised him.. She had effected like no one else.. He had sensed danger seeing her face only.. But maybe killing was a wrong step ? Steve clenched his jaw and stared to walk back to the room to stop it
Just then He grew still as he heard a wail from the store room.. The place where she had been found hiding.. Cautiously he headed to the door and opened it.. He noticed a something move inside the fluffy blanket which was kept in corner.. He hesitated.. Taking slow steps he kneeled infront of the blanket and opened it..
A harsh gap came out of his throat.. He stared down horrifiedAs he took the bundle in his hands he swore loudly..."WHAT THE HELL !!! "
Blue eyed baby who looked hell a lot like him stared back at him... A women with a baby !!
"This is not good !! " He muttered holding the baby in his hand.. "So not good.. ROBIN !!! "
Shilpa lay on the floor shaking Waiting for it happen.. She closed her eyes tightly just wishing the man would do it fast.. But deep inside she kept praying that he would stop.. She prayed Armaan would come and save her.. What will happen to Arav.. She sobbed helplessly Now she was regretting bringing her baby in such a danger.. Please Armaan Stop this.. Stop this She chanted in her mind But how can he? He was the person who had ordered to kill her.. She realized painfully
Shilpa gasped feeling the blade touch her neck.. This was it It was going to be her end.. She now had no emotions and no feeling.. Everything went blank.. She had come so close to getting back her love.. And failed instantlyFailed

Dead or alive ? Shilpa wondered as she slowly started to get back into consciousness.. As she was getting back to her senses, the memories started to rush back in her mind.. Her hasty visit to London.. Coming to meet Armaan.. And then.. Her eyes flew open as she grew alert.. The last thing she remembered was being hurt.. The man had almost grazed her neck.. Had he been successful.. She wondered as she started up at the ceiling of a strange room.. No.. She realized.. She was definitely Alive.. Shilpa drew a breath of relief , suddenly she grew still as she felt a movement beside her.. Small hands punching on her chest.. She glanced down hurriedly and instantly regretted the sudden move as pain shot through her neck..
"If I were you, I wouldn't have done that.. " A drawl came from the corner of the room sending chills down her spine.. Shilpa carefully set up on the bed and glanced at the owner of the voice.. Who set in the corner of chair entertaining himself with a drink.. She swallowed nervously seeing how intently he was studying her with a amused expression..
Kill her fast His words rang in her mind as her eyes filled up with tears.. She glared at him as he set straight frowning "You told him to Kill me.. " She spoke bitterly accusing him.. "You tried to KILL ME!!!" Shilpa shouted hoarsely she clutched her neck as pain shot through it hard..
Steve got up from his seat as he glared back at her in frustration.. Why was she even accusing him.. Who the hell was this lady.. He came closer and stared down at her narrowing his eyes.. "You better not shout in this condition.. Your going to bleed that wound.. "
"As if you care.. " She whispered angrily staring right at him.. "What did your loyal men do.. Slice open my neck..?? "
He clenched his jaw and bit out.. "You should be thanking me right now.. That I had stopped him from killing you.. Be thankful to me its just a small cut.. "
"Oh how generous of you Mr.Steve.. " She spoke sarcastically and glanced away from him.. Steve tried to retort back when he noticed the change of her expression..
"Ohh " Shilpa gave a cry as she stared down at Arav who was lying beside her.. Studying her intently.. So it was him who was hitting her chest.. As Arav noticed a familiar person he gave a dazzling smile which brought out the dimple on his left cheek.. Steve stiffened as he stared down at them
Shilpa scooped the baby in her Arms and held him close to her.. He noticed how easily her expressions from hatred to tender.. Just who the hell both of them were.. Steve wondered as he turned away abruptly.. And why did they effect him so badly..
"So this is your baby.. " He faced her with a controlled look.. "If you love him so much.. Why did you even leave him in a corner of store room.. "
Shilpa glanced back at him tiredly.. He felt surprised seeing the anger vanish from her eyes.. Her eyes fluttered as she whispered softly.. "I was just trying to protect him.. If I had taken him along with me , you wouldn't have hesitated on killing him too.. " I cant let you hurt your own child She thought miserably
Steve went still ,he snapped angrily "Whatever I do.. I don't do killing.. I apologize my men had tried to kill you.. "
"On your order.. " She interrupted him
Steve narrowed his eyes .. "I was just trying to be alert.. I had no intention of killing you.. Or the baby.. " His voice trailed off as he stared down at the baby in her arms.. For a minute his eyes were soft.. But then it became hard as he glanced back at her.. "If I really had the intention of killing anyone.. You would have been dead instantly.. "
Shilpa took a breath of relief as the anger started to fade slowly.. She hadn't meant to be angry on him.. But whatever he had done few hours ago had hurt her terribly.. You are forgetting Shilpa.. This is not your Armaan.. It's a man named Steve who does whatever he want She realized painfully..
It was then Shilpa realized Arav growing restless in her arms.. He started to suck her neck which indicated to her how hungry he was.. Oh god.. Her heart sank as she realized Arav had been hungry from hourse..
Steve folded his arms and studied her seeing her expression change once again.. It grew shuttered as she stared down at her baby.. Who the hell was she.. Her presence was intimidating him with every passing minute.. She was indeed beautiful.. He had realized the moment he had seen her.. But damn.. He didn't have time for even a bit of romance.. And not with this stranger.. Not at all.. He had to find out who she was and what she was doing here.. And also find out about his look alike baby in her arms.. He grimaced staring down at the baby who was now crying.. Why did he have to look similar to him anyway..
Shilpa glanced up at him and spoke hesitantly.. "I have to feed him.. "
"What " Steve blurted out at first not understanding her words.. Shilpa swallowed painfully rubbing her wound.. She indicated down at the baby who was crying.. " He is hungry.. And I assume none of you have milk.. " She spoke mockingly.. "So I need to feed him myself.. "
"Feed him.. " His words trailed off as he realized what she was meaning.. With a embarrassed look he quickly glanced away
"Exactly.. Breast feeding.. "Shilpa muttered tiredly.. "Now are you staying here or going.. ? "
Steve glanced back at her mortified.. "You really think I would like to stay and see " he hesitated with a disgusted look.. "You feed him.. "
Shilpa raised her eyebrow with a amused look.. "Why not.. " She shrugged her shoulders.. "I don't mind.."
"You don't mind ??? " Steve asked angrily.. This lady was far from being normal He shook his head and started to walk away when she spoke
"Why should I mind.. " She muttered softly.. "After all you are his father..Am sure Arav wont mind you being here.. "
His steps grew halt as he glanced back at her stunned.. "What did you say.. "
"Exactly what you heard.. " She replied as she started to pull up her top.. Steve's eyes grew wide as he spoke mortified "Oh will you just stop it.. I am not interested in seeing you feed him.. "
Shilpa suppressed her laugh and tried to keep a straight face.. "You can leave if you don't want to see.. "
Steve shook his head and muttered.. "We will talk later.. " And strode out of the room embarrassed..
"So where is this Ms.Indian now.. " David asked as Steve joined them in the living room..
Steve took a sip from his drink and leaned to the chair.. He closed his eyes and muttered without thinking.. "Breastfeeding.. "
David chocked on his drink while Robin and Logan stared at him horrified.. It was Devlin who broke the silence by breaking into fits of laughter.
"Hell " Steve muttered as he realized what he had said.. "So what exactly we say to a lady feeding a child.. " Steve snapped at them irritatedly as they stared to laugh..
"So Steve.. " Devlin asked jokingly.. "Did you see her go through this process.. "
"Keep you mouth shut Devlin.. " Steve warned him angrily..
Devlin rolled his eyes and got back to him game instantly
"Did you get any information about who this women is.. " David asked him curiously..
Steve shook his head rubbing his neck.. "Not yet.. But I will get it out of her soon.."
"You should have let Robin kill her.. It would have been less complicated.. " Logan murmured..
Steve cursed under his breath.. "Damn it.. She has a baby along with her.. "
"So what.. " David shrug his shoulders.. "Its not like we haven't deal with such cases "
"You must have but I don't do.. " Steve muttered glaring at David who smirked
"Until I don't find out why she is here.. " Steve continued grimly.. "I am not letting anyone touch her.. "
David raised his eyebrow and muttered softly "Steve and sensitive.. "
Steve heard his mocking words but decided to ignore them.. He stood up at walked to the window..
"Whoever she is.. She is really making me curious.. " Steve murmured distractedly.. He recalled her words.. .. After all you are his father He flinched on the words.. Just on what the hell this lady was playing.. Was she really telling the truth.. He wondered restlessly.. Did she really meant it when she had referred that was his child Not to forget that kid looks like him.. He thought frustratedly.. No way its possible !! Its been long time and he hadn't had a affair with anyone.. And this was definitely not his type of women.. But your still attracted to her.. He taunted himself.. "Steve " David interrupted his thoughts.. "If its hard for you to deal.. We could easily.. "
"No ! " Steve spun around instantly.. "I said no one is going to deal with her.. Only I will.. No one else will come close to her remember that ! "
"But Steve " Logan interrupted instantly "We leave to cruise tomorrow.. Whatever you have to do with her.. You have to do tonight And then get rid of her.. "
"One night isint enough.. " Steve gritted his teeth.. "I need clear information from her.. And she looks stubborn enough not to answer any of my question.. "
"So what you say Steve.. Take her with us ? Hell man we could just kill her and get rid of her.. ?" Robin replied grimly
"Oh you better stay quiet.. " Steve spoke angrily.. "You almost kill her tonight.. Don't even think of repeating it again.. " He calmed a bit and spoke.. "And about taking her along , that's exactly what we do.. Ms. Shilpa and the baby is coming along with us for the cruise.. "
"One big happy family.. " Devlin joked grinning to himself.. Steve rolled his eyes and started to walk away when david stopped him.. "Steve ! You must not forget we are going to meet our clients on the cruise.. And we are going to be gone for a month.. It's a long time.. "
"I am taking her with me.. " Steve muttered stubbornly.. "As I said before she is going to come with me.. And I am going to deal with her on my own way.. No need for anyone else to worry.. I will deal with her myself.. "
As Steve left them David shook his head in anger.. "What the hell is wrong with him.. "
Logon spoke quietly.. "Did you notice Steve is growing overprotective towards that women.. "
"Maybe he is just curious like us.. " Robin spoke.. "After all she have come looking for him.. He must be wondering why she is here.. "
"Maybe " David agreed.. "But then we have to be very alert.. After all he is going to take her with us.. "
"Why do I have a feeling she is his wife and that's her kid.. "Devlin joked once again.. David narrowed his eyes and his younger brother.. "Oh keep your mouth shut Devlin.. Never say a good thing.. "
"Steve " Logan spoke impatiently.. "If This lady is really a threat.. "
David interrupted instantly.. "If she is really a threat.. We will get rid of her even if Steve likes it or not ! " He spoke with a cruel smile..
Steve gave a nudge to her once again.. "Damn women.. Wake up !! "
Shilpa groaned and set up on the bed glaring at him.. "My neck hurts.. " She whined angrily.. Steve narrowed his eyes.. "Then you better eat some food.. And take this medicine it will ease you pain.. "
Shilpa stared down at the soup as her stomach growled in anger.. She glanced a look at Arav who was now sleeping contently.. "Ok.. Anyways I am hungry.. "
"No wonder.. " Steve spoke sarcastically as he handed her the soup.. She took it and started to eat hurriedly.. He clenched his jaw and warned.. "Slow up before you choke yourself to death.. "
"Oh then you must be so happy when I die.. " She replied back mockingly Steve controlled his anger waiting for her to finish.. As she put the plate to aside he handed her the medicine which she took quietly..
"Are you done.. ? " He asked impatiently "We need to talk.. "
"No ! " She shook her head feeling sleepy.. "I need some sleep.. "
"But you were just sleeping.. " He retorted as she lay on the bed.. " Get up !! Get up now and speak to me.. "
"No.. " She moaned softly and closed her eyes..
Steve stared down at her frustrated and gave a pat on her cheek.. But she was instantly asleep He stared down at the mother and child who was rocking his world now.. He had never felt so restless in his life.. Ever.. "Gave you a chance lady.. " He drawled tiredly.. "Now we will deal with you in my way !*****************************

"I just can't do this.. " Shilpa mumbled as tears formed in her eyes. She tried to cool down her mind in the shower. But it was no use. All she could think of was about him. What he have become now..
"Oh Armaan why cant you just come back to me.. " She sniffed as she wrapped herself in the towel and stared at herself in reflection. Her state was no surprise to her. She looked paler and weak. But atleast she didn't look dirty anymore. Shilpa acknowledged grimly.
After getting out of the shower she dressed herself while keeping an eye on Sleeping Arav. Tenderness filled in her eyes seeing how innocent he looked while sleeping. "My darling." She drawled with a smile. She turned back to the mirror and studied herself. The sweater and jeans made her look casual on her. She ran her hands down on her hips distractedly when..
"Done checking out yourself.. ? " Came a husky voice just behind her..
Shilpa turned out.. Way too fast. It made her wince as pain shot through her wound.. "Ouch.."
"Damn women.. " Steve muttered as he came and stood in front of her.. "How many times I have to tell you to be careful."
Her eyes fluttered open as she stared at him mesmerized. Today he looked quite different. Dressed in a designer black shirt and black trousers he looked eye catching. The rugged look was still there which made him drop dead gorgeous. Her eyes ran on his every feature. Studying them. Seeing if there was any similarity. He was still the same Armaan. But the rugged sexy look made him look utterly dangerous which made her heart flip.
Steve gritted his teeth as he tried to fight back with the desire building inside him. Why the hell was this woman staring at him like that? She looked so mesmerized and stunned. He felt more intrigued as she stared back at her equally taken back. What was this chemistry between them? For god sake he only had met her yesterday. He acknowledged grimly. Was there really something between them? Did they really have a past... "NO WAY! " His heart denied at once. "She is not even my type! " And then a soft sound came deep from his heart.. "You cant deny she is utterly gorgeous. Inside and outside."
Shilpa came out of her trance when suddenly he took a step towards her. Now they stood close as their bodies brushed together. His nose brushed down on hers as he slowly leaned down to her. Shilpa gasped as she stared up at his dark eyes. She licked her dry lips unintentionally, but noticed the way his eyes followed the action. She tried to take a step back when he snaked his hand on her neck and rubbed her skin sensuously.. Shilpa let out a soft moan and closed her eyes enjoying the sensation. When she opened her eyes he was staring down at her with such a passion which took her breath away.
And then the moment broke. He took a ragged breath and stepped back from her..
Shilpa felt her cheeks go red as she looked away. What was she hoping? He would take her in his arms and love her like before. "Stop thinking this is Armaan infront of you.. This is Steve.." She reminded to herself.
Steve clenched his jaw and narrowed his eyes as he stared down at her neck.. "Your bandage is wet.."
"Ohh.." Shilpa ran her hand on the bandage and realized she hadn't been much careful as she took the bath. "My mistake. I wasn't much careful in shower.. " She mumbled shyly..
His eyes flashed as he tried not to let his imagination wander.. "Why cant you just be careful when you do something " He muttered harshly.. "Silly women. Now I have to change it again.."
"I am not even asking you to change.. " She retorted back.. "I can do myself."
"Like hell you can do.. " He growled. And instantly regretted as he heard the cry from the corner of the room..
"Now look what you have done.. " Shilpa scolded.. "Arav.. " She ran to her baby who was now crying his lungs out.. "Don't worry mommy is here.. "
Steve stared at her fascinated as she soothed the baby in one minute.. "I will get the bandage.. We have to leave soon.." He muttered as he strode out of the room..
"But.. " Shilpa tried to protest but he had left before she could say a word.. Shilpa grew tensed as she recalled his words.. Leaving where ? Where was he taking her.. ? What if he was going to get rid of her and Arav.. A sudden chill ran down her body as she realized the possibility of it.. Oh god what if..
He walked back to the room with the first aid kit. He grew still as he noticed her clutching the baby to her chest and glaring at him..
"For godsake women !What did I do now.. " He asked frustratedly..
"I wont let you do it.. " Shilpa muttered through her tears..
"What.. " Steve asked taken back..
"I wont let you hurt us. Not my Baby at all.." She mumbled through her tears..
"Why don't you just stop crying.. " He spoke impatiently.. "And tell me what I said to offend you.."
"I know what you are trying to do.. " She spoke bitterly.. "You are going to get rid of us aren't you.. "
"WHAT !! "
"Get rid of your own child.. ? " Shilpa spoke disgusted..
"Shut up ! Just shut up.. " Steve paled as he spoke.. "Firstly I have no intention of doing ANYTHING to you or your Baby. Secondly stop referring him as my kid.. "
"But he is .. " She protested..
"ENOUGH !" He growled angrily which made her go silent at once..
Shilpa cleared her tears and stared down at Arav who was silently staring at Armaan. She could clearly see the curiousness in his eyes.
"Just leave us Alone.. " Shilpa stated as she place Arav done on the cot.
Steve felt his anger drain as the minutes passed. With a grim look he came towards her as she took a step back.. He gritted his teeth in frustration.
"Lets do it this way. " He muttered dangerously.. "You Quietly listen to what I am saying , and do as I say. I will make sure you stay safe.. "
"Yea right.. " Shilpa muttered sarcastically..
He ignored her tone and leaned down touching her neck.. She flinched but stood quiet..
"You're a little stubborn thing aren't you.. " He asked amused as he cleaned her wound..
Shilpa kept staring at him but didn't bother replying..
"And so much temper." He shook his head.. "You aren't going to talk right.. "
Shilpa looked away as he started to stare down at her..
As he finished putting on the bandage he took a step back and spoke.. "Now I want you to listen to me carefully.. Pack whatever things you have and get ready. We are leaving.. "
"I am not going anywhere.. " Shilpa protested softly..
"So you got back your tongue.. " He smirked..
"Get lost. " Shilpa spoke frustrated..
"No ! " He spoke firmly.. "Be ready in an hour."
"And what if I don't " Shilpa called back as he started to leave..
Steve reached to the door and glanced back at her blankly.. "Then I may have to hand you back to Robin.. " He gave a smile "Regretfully."
Several hours later :
CRUISE! This was a Bloody Cruise! Shilpa acknowledged grimly as she took a seat in her bed. She stared around the cabin dispassionately. It was so small. Had little furniture, a small bathroom and a double bed. They had put her in a servants cabin. She had realized the moment she walked inside. Shilpa glanced down at Arav who was now sleeping peacefully. He had been cranky whole day. As he had been new to the sea experience. Since there was no cot Shilpa knew she had to make him sleep beside her. Which made her feel good. Infact she was grateful she had a separate cabin. Which made her feel safe away from all those gangsters.
She slowly lay down on the bed staring up at the ceiling.. Armaan.. No Steve.. Had completely ignored her through out the day. He hadn't once glanced at her as they made their way to Cruise. Instead he kept his attention focused on the women who was accompanying them in the trip. What was her name.. ? Was he involved with her ? Her heart hurt as she started to have the thoughts.. Forcefully she blocked away the thoughts and closed her eyes in hope for a better tomorrow..
"Steve " Steve stiffened as he heard the sultry voice which came from behind in the hallway. Irritated he turned around to see Lisa brown who came to him with a seductive smile. A smile which did nothing to him..
"What do you want Lisa.. " Steve asked trying to keep his patience..
"What Steve.. Cant you be nice to me at all.. " She faked a innocent look.. "You spent all the day with me. Why not the night too.. " She asked with flattering lashes..
Steve clenched his jaw as he recalled the day dispassionately.. Its true he had spent the day in her company. Rather it was forcefully. He knew he couldn't afford being close to Ms.Shilpa. Not after the way he had seen his body react to her. So he had make sure he kept himself busy in the company of Lisa brown. But it had been useless. He couldn't even hold a slight interest on her. No matter how hard he had tried to ignore Ms.Shilpa he kept sparing glances at her as she set quiet in the corner holding her baby. Something twitched in his heart whenever he saw them alone. Still he stopped himself from reacting. This was not Steve. Steve was never sensitive. Never.
"Lisa.. " He spoke patiently. "I am hell tired. So why don't you go back to David. " He gave a smile.. "The one who had brought you on this trip.."
"No way " She pouted... And then suddenly she came closer and snaked her hands around his neck. "Its you I want no one else.. "
Steve stiffened and tried to push her away when they heard a sound across the hallway.
"I am sorry. " Shilpa mumbled softly and took the book she had dropped down.. She dragged her eyes away from the scene which she had witnessed unfortunately. Her heart breaking into pieces.
"Get away women.. "Lisa retorted "Cant you see we are busy.. "
Shilpa took a step back and left to the other side of the hallway... She had to get away. Get away soon before she would break completely..
Steve shook his head and instantly pushed her away from him.. "Go away Lisa ! " He growled angrily..
"But Steve ! "
"GO ! " He ordered.. "And stay away from me.. " He spoke angrily as he stormed to the way Shilpa had left..
"I shouldn't have bothered coming.. " Shilpa mumbled as she cried softly.. "He has no memory of me. "
Maybe she had done wrong by coming here.. Maybe she should have stayed home and accepted the fate.
But what about Arav.. ? She acknowledged sadly.. Arav needs his father. And most importantly she knew she needed him. She had no one beside him. Without him she would just die..
"I love you so much it hurts.. " She mumbled as she brushed away her tears angrily..
"What are you doing here.. ? " Came a soft voice behind her..
Shilpa stiffened as she hurriedly cleared her tears and looked back at him.. Steve stood at the end of hallway staring at her grimly..
Shilpa gripped the railing and stared at the dark sea.. "I couldn't sleep.. "
"Me too.. " He spoke joining her..
Shilpa moved away a little from him and stayed quiet..
"What you saw back there.. " he spoke hesitantly.. "It wasn't like that.. "
"Why are you telling me.. " Shilpa asked looking at him..
"Why ? "Armaan frowned wondering himself.. "So that you don't make any assumptions.. " He lied quickly..
"What assumption would I make.. " She asked frowning..
"Yea right.. I wasn't imagining the devastated look on your face back there.. " He spoke sarcastically..
"Ofcourse I felt bad.. My baby's father with a another women.. " She replied back in same tone..
"How many times " He muttered and stopped.. "I have nothing to do with her.. "
"Ya right.. " Shilpa shot back to him.. "So what were you doing whole day in her company.."
"This is just absurd.." He shook his head disbelievingly.. "I was just trying to ignore.. " He stopped instantly..
Her eyes shadowed "You were ignoring me.. I already know that. "
"I wasn't.. " He protested lamely..
"Don't bother lying.. We both know the truth.. " She replied with a sudden sad look.. "I guess I should go now.. "
Shilpa tried to leave when suddenly he pulled her back.. She gasped as she crashed to his chest. He held her tight and stared down at her angrily..
"Who the hell are you ?? " Steve asked dangerously..
Shilpa stared at him with a bitter smile and whispered.. "I am the person you chose to forget so easily.."
He loosened his grip and stared down at her frustrated.. She shook her head.. "All this time I was waiting for you like a mad.. And you just forgot me so easily.. "
"Listen here.. " He tried to interrupt..
"I will leave now.. " She spoke firmly and ran back inside.. He ran a hand through his hair and stared into the dark sky.. Her words haunting him throughout..
