Month 2 :

" Damn Stupid Door.. " Radhika frowned badly as she glanced helplessly around trying to find some tool to fix the broken cupboard door of her kitchen.. She had almost use everything which she had herself , but her every try turned out unsuccessful.. Giving up Radhika stormed out of the kitchen annoyed and irritated.. It has been a month since she had come to Shimla, worked herself overtime to rent a small cottage for herself.. The place was more than enough for her to live and raise the baby growing within her.. Glancing outside she caressed her flat belly softly with a sort of uncertainty filled in her eyes. As the time kept flowing out her tension regarding the baby kept growing.. I will never let anything happen to you.. IT was a small promise she made in her heart every passing day.. Blocking away the negative thoughts flowing in her mind she took her purse and locked the front door putting on the sweater of her flowery sundress.. As she stepped on the road the cool wind hit her face making her smile.. Radhika rubbed her hands and glanced around noting down the beautiful scenery of Shimla in her mind... She had loved the town since she settled in here.. The town was peaceful just a beautiful place she had preferred to be. As she kept walking from one road to another her steps slowed down as she grew cautious with the sudden reminder of him.. Why the hell him.. She grew halt as she remembered about the sexy stranger who was in town since a month.. Did i spell Sexy ?.. No matter how much she tried it was hard to ignore him while he kept doing carpentry works for people around.. She had seen him she knew well who he was the question was what was a guy like him doing in such a small town..

He drew a long breath taking of his shirt to start his work on to repair the door.. He carefully glanced on the road keeping a eye on her as he knew she would be passing the road glancing around his house at once.. It had been happening since he had moved into Shimla renting a big cottage for himself to have a relaxing time.. But as days kept passing he found himself getting bored.. Once when he strode on the road bored he noticed a old lady having some problem in fixing her fence , and soon Arjun ended up in helping around people in different repairing work.. Often he was rewarded with free gossip and free meals.. Not that he didint enjoy infact he found his new lifestyle in such a small town exciting.. That was when once in a sunny day he got back into some carpentry work infront of his house , the very minute he glanced up and noticed the beautiful girl eying him.. He was surprised but held her gaze as he studied her beautiful features.. As he grinned back at her winking she gasped lightly and walked away from his house leaving him all curious.. Since then she would every morning pass from his house making sure to put her curious gaze on him everyday.. A part of him always wished to approach her and charm her with his talks but instead he stopped himself enjoying the bit of attention he was getting from the stranger..Ohh yes she is the new girl who shifted in town since last month.. She is two months pregnant.. Surely not married i wonder why no men is there with her life.. He had been filled with gossips just as he started to do small tasks for the ladies around the town.. Today as he glanced at her from the corner of his eyes he had a feeling she was going to approach him...

She narrowed her eyes at him while he kept working with his tools trying to fix the broken door.. Every morning she would cross the road and see him shirtless , sweat dripping from his rock hard chest and muscled arms.. A sight which she found difficult to resist.. But she had seen him in papers.. He had been in news and paparazzi for years.. Such a successful man what was he doing in a small town walking as a carpenter here.. ? The fact was hard to digest for her.. Surprisingly she found herself heading towards him rather than going back to library.. He glanced up with his deep blue eyes which was full of surprise seeing her approach him..
A smile broke on his face as he spoke in his manly deep voice which sent chills down her body.. " Ahhh so finally the pregnant girl approaches me "
Her eyes grew wide as she stared at him in horror.. How on the earth did he get to know about her little secret.. Trying not to show the shock on her face she spoke firmly.. " That shouldnt be your concern Mister.. "
His eyebrow shot up as he grinned at her amused.. She looked cute and much beautiful when she got furious.. " Ok point taken.. But may i know why such a pretty lady has approached me today..
She folded her arms and glared at him while trying her best to ignore the sudden attraction which rose in heart seeing his muscular gorgeous body.. " I know you very well Raichand.. I have seen you in several papers most of time clinging to women.. Oh did i forgot to say everyday on paparazzi news with a new rumor.. Now it has really made me wonder why a big successful football player like you would be doing in the such a small town like Shimla.. "
He narrowed his eyes at her and then suddenly a smile lit on his lips.. " Well well Well.. Lady i can also ask the same to you Why such a gorgeous , Pregnant girl is doing all alone in this town wont u mind telling me.. "
Her expressions grew hard as she shot at him gritting her teeth.. " Who told you about that news... "
He grinned at her devilishly and spoke while taking some tools in his hand.. "Dont you know miss that this is a small town.. There a few ladies who likes to gossip about everything while i do some works like this for them.. "
She cursed under her breath and regretted coming up to him to have a conversation.. Indeed she was correct about him infront of her was standing a gorgeously wicked man.. " I cant believe i came up and waited my 5 minutes near you.. I hope we never meet again Mr.Arjun Raichand.. "
He frowned badly with a smile lingering on his lips.. " Now what did i do to offend you so much.. ? Well i would be really glad if we meet more and more Mrs... "
Her expressions grew even harder as she almost snapped at him in anger... " It is Ms. Radhika Shergill.. "
His smile grew wide as he gave a nod appreciatively.. " I very well knew you weren't married.. It was just a tactic to get the name of such a pretty girl.."
She ignored his flirting remarks and started to walk away when she heard him speak out loudly.. " Anyways Radhika i am glad i met you.. And if you need my help in repairing anything just call me up i will come.. Am always up for helping lonely beautiful ladies like you.. "
She turned back to him as his words sent a chill down her spine.. Keeping a straight face she passed a big smile to him for a second making his heartbeat rise seeing her beauty.. With her wild beautiful eyes glaring at him she tossed back her hair and replied him grimly before walking away.. " In your Dreams Raichand.. "
He stared at her retreating back with a teasing smile on his lips , taking a tool in his hand.. " What a beautiful dream it would then.. "

Month 3 :

" Hey Radhika its good to see u here darling.." Mrs.Verma hugged her as she came for the small party held by them.. Radhika forced a smile on her lips as she noticed several people gazing at her curiously.. As she glanced at the ladies present in the party she knew she was the hot gossip in their talks.. I need to get out of her soon.. Hesitantly she walked upto Mrs.Verma who glanced back at her with a gentle smile.." Is everything ok Radhika.. I hope you are enjoying.. "
Radhika gave a curt nod glancing around awkwardly.. " I dont think i am feeling much better here.. Will it be ok if i leave little early.. ? "
Worry wash through her eyes as she replied softly.. " Didint i tell you to ignore what people keep saying.. They always need some gossip to talk on , try to enjoy by trying to talk with people here.. "
Radhika glanced around awkwardly and shook her head feeling uneasy.. " I am not much party person.. But if there is any work i can do , like helping around for the party u can tell me.. I will make myself buxy in the work.. "
Mrs.Verma at first protested but then as she saw her pleading eyes she gave up smiling.. " Fine Radhika.. In kitchen the refreshments are there which need to be served.. Why dont you fill them for me i will come and fetch them in a while.. "
She smiled widely and gave a nod taking a breath of relief.. Making her way out of the party she stepped into the hallway to the kitchen.. Suddenly her thoughts flew back to the memory of her encounter with Arjun Raichand.. That Jerk.. She cursed under her breath as thoughts of him formed in her mind.. After the meet she had sworn never to come face to face with him , so in order to keep her words she tried her best to avoid him as much she could.. So far her plan had been going smoothly but as she neared to the kitchen she noticed a girl who was leaning to the wall with a big smile on her face , while Arjun Raichand stood infront of her flirting with her shameless.. " Did i tell you that you have such pretty eyes lady.. ? " He spoke seductively as the girl blushed and replied him in a sultry voice.. " You really find me pretty.. Whatelse is nice about me.. "
Radhika rolled her eyes and walked pass them ignoring their presence completely.. If it wasnt for Mrs.Verma i would have surely run away from here.. The thought came in her mind as she walked inside the kitchen glancing around the empty cups.. Slowly she took a cup in her hand as a another argument rose in her mind.. Why should i run around avoiding him , he is just a stranger whats the point of giving importance.. She frowned badly as different thoughts started to flow in her mind distracting her from the work.. Blocking away all the thoughts she took a pepsi bottle in hand and started to fill the cups when she felt someone's presence behind her.. She felt a chill run down her body as she felt his hot breath on her neck.. She gripped the bottle hard as she turned around slowly to see Arjun who stood with a smirk on his lips.. Why the hell did he have to be so good looking.. She cursed herself as she started to feel the stupid attraction towards him.. Raising his eyebrow he spoke glancing back at the cups.. " Mind if i help you.. "
She lifted her chin and spoke coldly.. " No thanxs Raichand.. I can do my work carry on the work myself.. "
He grinned with a amused look while she tried to ignore the sudden feel of her rising heartbeat.. " Well i do see that , but i dont think Mrs.Verma would mind if i willingly put a hand for help.. "
She ignored him and turned around getting back to her work.. Arjun grinned and moved beside her glancing down on the cups.. " Why are u so stubborn Ms.Pregnant.. "
She shot him a furious look and spoke gritting her teeth.. " Its Radhika Shergill.."
He passed a innocent look and leaned towards her as she glanced away quickly.. "Come on even u are calling me Raichand.. Girls say i have such a hot name.. Why dont you just call me Arjun.. "
Without looking at him she replied in a calm voice.. " I guess you have a company outside in the hallway why dont u go and make her call you with you So called hot name am sure she will be willing.. "
He stared at her amused with her words.. Now this is a hell of lady..Ever since he had realized she was trying to ignore him it made him curious of her behavior.. And now he found himself getting attracted towards her as this was a girl who showed no interest towards him.. With a devilish grin he leaned close to her when he felt her gasp lightly.. He felt a his heart jump in sudden excitement as he heard the soft voice in her throat.. This was impossible.. Was he getting attracted to her.. " You seem to have ignoring me from a month now.. Are you scared of being close to me.."
She felt goosebumps rise in her arms as he spoke the last words in a mere whisper.. Still maintaining her cold posture she turned around facing him to argue when.. " Raichand You... "
The rest of words caught in her throat as she notice the sudden change in his expression , from teasing to a more passionate look with his eyes filled with desire.. Her breath hitched as she stared back at him for the very first time in a intimate manner.. She gasp as she realized his eye color wasnt blue.. It was a mix of grey and blue making it look more mesmerizing as she stared breathlessly.. On the other hand he stood perplexed with the unknown feelings rising in his heart towards her.. He had meant to tease her badly with his words.. But just as she turned around facing him with her beautiful green eyes he felt himself loosing the thoughts running in mind.. Everything felt like a fog as they stared at each other while standing close.. She gasped , and glanced down as his hand snaked down on her waist lightly gripping it.. She sighed suddenly feeling helpless with the close proximity.. This is a stranger , dont loose ur mind Radhika.. Her mind shouted with those words but she stood still as she noticed his lips descending down on hers.. Her eyes grew wide , lips parted in mere surprise as she felt his lips slightly brush on hers.. He glanced down at her deep green eyes and spoke huskily.. "There is a magic between us dont you think.. So why ignore me.. "
Sweet talker..Her mind concluded hearing his words.. Lost in the sudden feel of desire she felt her eye lids close as she realized he was going to kiss her.. He himself was lost in her beauty when suddenly footsteps reaching to the door brought him back to the earth.. He drew back with a groan shifting away from her.. Radhika opened her eyes in horror and turned around realizing what she had done almost.. She put a hand on her thudding heart shaking her head.. Did i just gave in almost kissing him.. The thought haunted her mind as Mrs.Verma walked inside excitedly.. " Ohh you are almost done with the drinks.. Let me take the filled ones outside now.. Thank you Soo much Radhika.. "
She smiled at her hesitantly and got back into filling drinks.. As Mrs.Verma left the kitchen she turned around and frowned to find herself alone in the there..

Several nights later :

Radhika pulled the sweater close to her trying to cover herself from the coldness of the night.. She hated when she had to work late in night duty , from library to her home it always took more than 15 minutes to reach.. But she was helpless, she had to earn enough money to pay the bills and get medicines for herself.. Once again her thoughts flew back to Arjun as she recalled her encounter with him past several days.. First it had been in the grocery store where they ended up bickering.. And then on library where she found him flirting with a another women near the book racks almost driving her crazy.. And at last after few days of ignoring him she had accidentally come face to face with him in her neighbor house where he was buxy fixing the broken window.. Unlike other days he didint flirt with her alone , instead he flirted with her infront of everyone.. Radhika ran a hand through her hair as she frowned wondering why all of a sudden she was feeling the attraction towards him.. This is ridiculous.. He is just a big flirt nothing else..Her mind argued.. Lost in her thoughts she kept walking ahead when suddenly she tripped down as her feet collided with a small log in the middle of road.. She felt her heartbeat stop with the thought of baby getting hurt.. The memories of past started to reel back in her mind bringing tears in her eyes.. No god please dont let the baby die.. Everything happened so fast as she fell down , luckily on her back but she was damn sure her feet was bruised badly.. She set on the road and winced in pain as she touched her feet and felt blood on it.. She whimpered in pain and tried to stand up but the pain was making her whole feet numb.. She glanced around the deserted road with tears trying to seek for a help.. What am i going to do now..
Just then she felt footsteps approaching her she glanced up quickly to find Arjun who stood with a worried look.. And for the first time she was glad he had come..
He set infront of her and spoke worriedly.. " Are you fine.. What happened.. "
She cleared her tears with a flushed look and spoke softly... " I just collided with that log and tripped down.. I guess my leg is hurt.. Its all Numb.. "
He touched her leg pulling up the jeans to look at the wound, she didint object but stayed silent while he spoke.. " Ya there is a cut in your leg.. Not much deep thankfully.. Are you hurt anywhere else.. "
She flushed as his gaze ran down on her belly.. Caressing it softly she replied.. "Thankfully its fell on my back.. Its just my leg hurt.. "
He studied her for a long time , without a further word he lifted her in his arms as she tried to protest at once.. " No please.. Put me down i can.. "
He interrupted her words smoothly.. " Right now you are not going to reach your home without my help. Anyways its just 5 minutes of walk from here.. "
She gave up feeling weak due to the numbness of her leg..But as she gripped his shoulder tightly she was nicely aware of the closeness.. He was a strong man , he held her like she weighted nothing.. His hold was strong and gentle.. For a second she found her eyes moving up studying his face.. As she glanced in his eyes she regretted at once , as she found him already staring at her with a mix of curious and desire.. She was lost in some other world when he approached her house and cleared his throat bringing her out of her dreamy state.. " Take the keys on ur hand and open the door... "
She tried to protest but as he gave a look she took the key in her hand and slowly unlocked the front door as he strode inside kicking the door from behind.. He walked into the small living room and put her down on the sofa as she quickly tried to sit up.. " I.. I will manage.. You can leave now.. "
He frowned at her as amused smile formed in his lips.. " Are you always this stubborn.. "
Without giving her a chance to reply he stood up making his way to the kitchen looking around.. " Where can i find the first aid kit.. "
Radhika sighed and closed her eyes feeling tired.. " In that cupboard the left door.."
She was almost feeling dizzy when she felt his footsteps approach her slowly.. And then she heard his worried voice sending chills down her spine.. " Radhika.."
Her eyes flew open as she stared at him in surprise.. It was the very first time she had heard someone speak out her name with such a concern filled voice.. Her mind started to fill with thoughts instantly when he again spoke.. " Are you sure you are fine.. You look pale.. Should i call a doctor.. ? "
She shook her head reluctantly glancing back at him.. He is just a playboy.. Dont fall in his trap.. " No i am fine.. just the pain in leg.."
He took a bandage in his hand with some cotton.. " I will clean the wound now .. You will be fine.. "
She started to feel drowsy due to the weakness.. As he finished his work she closed her eyes feeling the sleep takeover her.. But little conscious she did felt him walk around the house and then suddenly she felt him cover her with a blanket.. She sighed blissfully and pulled it close , making herself comfortable on the sofa.. And then she heard the faint voice of the click on the door.. But as she drifted into the sleep she couldnt make out whether he had left or he just locked the door..

Within the middle of the night she woke up and set back on the sofa blinking her eyes.. The lights in the living room were dim , a fire was running in the small fireplace.. Did he really do all this.. She wondered as she glanced around trying to find him.. Was he still there or he had left by now.. She tried to get up when her breath caught as she noticed him walking inside the living room.. Damn you Arjun Raichand.. She cursed under her breath as she noticed him with a bare chest , the shirt tied on his waist around his faded jeans.. He came and stood infront of her with a smile.. " Slept well.. ? "
Radhika glanced away embarrassed and spoke quickly.. " Yes i did.. But i thought you would have left by now.. "
He smiled again while she narrowed her eyes at him.. Why was he blessed with such a charming smile.. He set infront of her and replied. " I thought i will stay and have a check on you.. And meantime i ran around your house and i must tell you there is very much repairing needed.. "
She frowned at him badly and started to protest.. " How can you just roam around my house and say things about it.. Just becauxe you have a big house doesnt mean others should have the same standard.. "
He narrowed his eyes and her and spoke quietly.. " I promise i wasnt comparing with my house.. I am a spoil brat to buy big ones but you have a real house and such beautiful place should be kept perfect.."
She glanced away as her heart melted hearing the sincerity in his voice.. " I.. I am not much of a repairing person.. I did try but couldnt correct any of them so i gave up.. Am sorry i didint mean to be rude.. "
A smile came on his lips as he gave a nod.. " I know you didint mean.. Well for now i cant do any repair as i would be needing tools with me.. But next week i will be free so i will come and fix this place.. "
She stared at him amazed and gave a smile.. " Thats really kind of you to help me.. But i was wondering how much it would cost.. I mean.. "
He sensed her hesitance and sighed.. " If you are talking about Money I just have to say take it as a favor from me to you.. But if you are a offended type to take free favors i am going to ask something for return.. "
She glanced at him suspiciously as a teasing smile formed on his lips.. " What are you going to ask.. "
He stood up and replied gently.. " Nothing embarrassing.. You will get to know when its done.. I will leave now you take rest.. "
Stunned by his behavior she just gave a nod to him while he took the shirt putting it on.. As he gripped the door knob she spoke quickly.. " Listen.. Thank you Arjun.. "
He glanced back at her with a look in his eyes she couldnt make out.. Something was mysterious about this man.. He opened the door and spoke softly before leaving.. " The pleasure is all mine.. Radhika.. "

Month 4 :

" YOU KILLED MY DAUGHTER.. !!! YOU B***** You just killed her GET OUT OF MY HOUSE AND DONT COME BACK HERE EVER.. "
" Aunty Pleasee Believe me I Didint.. Please just listen to me Once.."
"DONT CALL ME THAT.. I am not your Aunt.. You Are Dead for me... DID U HERE ME.. YOU ARE DEAD !!"
Radhika woke up panting and glanced around in tears.. A breath of relief washed through her as she realized it was just a dream.. You are Dead for me.. The words rang in her mind as she break into painful sobs recalling the dreadful memory.. Whatever happened that day was a big shock for her.. I didint mean to let it happen did i.. Many times she had tried to console herself saying it was just a accident, but whenever she saw the hatred her aunt had towards her she couldnt help but carry the burden of guilt with her.. With her eyes filled with tears she caressed her belly which was now growing as months kept passing by.. I wont let anything happen to you.. There came out the same promise from her heart , but now as the days kept passing questions started to form in her mind regarding the baby.. Will she be able to keep her promise when the time arrives..?? I have to do something as soon as possible..

Several days Later :

Arjun grinned as he noticed the lady who gave a seductive look at him with a wink.. He shook his head and walked passed her in the street for a change ignoring the flirting session.. For now he was eager to meet her in library somehow.. After the encounter with her on that beautiful night he found himself getting lost in her thoughts.. It was hard to ignore the sudden feeling of attraction rising in his heart..
But she doesnt even like me.. He frowned as the thought came in her mind making him feel uneasy.. What was he expecting from her.. ? To come and hug him telling him he was the perfect man for her.. ? When did he started to think about a girl so much.. Its just my curiosity nothing else.. He argued himself in the mind.. A lazy smile formed in his lips as he reached the library and stood infront of the door.. "Atleast friendship with her wont do much harm.. " With that he opened the door and strode inside looking for her..

Radhika groaned inwardly as she noticed Arjun who was leaning to the reception desk , flirting with the assistant librarian who was blushing like a idiot.. Staring at them she moved forward when she bumped into a girl and the books fell from her hand on to the floor making a loud noise.. She cursed under breath and bent down picking up the books when she felt him sit infront of her taking some of them.. "Here let me help you.. "
She passed a fake smile at him and spoke sarcastically.. " No thanxs Raichand Why dont you go and do ur duty of flirting with every women.. "
His eyebrow shot up in amusement.. " Ahaan so you are jealous.. "
She narrowed her eyes at him and spoke gritting her teeth.. " Why should i be jealous.. Anyways i dont need your help you can carry on with your flirting sessions.."
Collecting the books she got up walking away from him towards the book racks.. He couldnt help but notice the sudden change in her body.. She was looking much more beautiful and glowing as days kept passing by.. The white sundress was just perfect on her showing out her beautiful curves.. He frowned badly as he stood up.. What Am i drooling on her.?Brushing away the thoughts he followed her and stood beside her as suddenly his gaze drifted down on her growing belly.. Radhika frowned as she noticed what he was doing.. " What are you staring at my.."
He looked up at her and grinned.. " Belly.. I am looking cauxe i have just noticed finally you are looking like a pregnant women.. "
She rolled her eyes and got back on placing the books on the rack.. " Why dont you just frankly say I am Getting FAT.. "
He grinned widely and moved close to her speaking softly.. " I just have to say you are the first pregnant lady i am finding really attractive.. A beauty difficult to ignore.. "
She stared at him with wide eyes as her cheeks colored up instantly.. She glanced down on her books and spoke stammering.. " Thank you .. "
He stared at her for a while deciding whether to ask or not.. But then in next second he blurted out quickly.. " Can we become friends.. "
She finished placing the books and stared at him for a while uncertainly.. She walked passed him to the next rack while he followed her silently.. " Friends.. Just friends right.. ? "
He smiled widely as she turned around to face him again.. For now " I can be a good friend.. Trust me on that.. "
Trust me.. The words were strange as he spoke out them easily.. Did trust and Arjun did go well ? She wondered..After all he was known for breaking hearts .. Giving a nod at him she spoke strongly.. " Just friends ok.. "
He grinned again as the words rang in her mind consoling himself.. Just for now ..
" Yes just friends I hope we will turn out good friends.."

Radhika closed the door the library and pulled on her sweater.. As she moved forward to cross the road she felt him grasp her hand stopping her on the stop.. "Dont go Radhika.. "
There he did it again.. She thought as she turned around facing him suspiciously.. He just smiled as she wondered why a man like him was blessed with such gorgeous smile.. And then what was not attractive about him.. " I thought u left.. "
He shrugged his shoulders and pulled her on the side of the road walking slowly.."I have a off day so i am strolling around bored.. Thought maybe you will fancy for a dinner so i waited until you finish.. "
Radhika smiled softly and spoke in humor.. " You waited or spent your time flirting with other women.. "
The smile on his lips faded as he spoke softly in a sincere voice.. " I promise i did wait.. Am not that bad as you think.. "
Something tugged in her heart as he glanced away without a further word.. She bit her lip as he slowly led her to the corner cafe'..
They took a seat on the corner table and ordered for the meals.. Shilpa took a sip from the glass of water when he leaned forward and spoke softly.. " Is that all rumors posted on papers which created such a bad image about me infront of your eyes.. "
She glanced at him frowning and replied.. " Rumors might be wrong to some extent.. But what about those pictures which you click with all the models.. Possibly they all cant be wrong right.. "
He drew a harsh breath and glanced at her deeply.. " I admit i have had a wild life all these years.. What to say all those fame and popularity drives a normal person to the edge.. And me, I was always a spoilt brat and after the death of my parents i became worse.. "
Her eyes softened as unconsciously she took his hand pressing it lightly.. " I am so sorry for your loss.. And am sorry if was rude.. "
He shook his head and gave a small smile.. " No need to feel sorry.. I am sorry myself for whatever i did in past.. There has been bad things attached with me.. But the reason why i came into this town is to just getaway from the wild life.. All those media and popularity it was just eating me up.. And i cant even tell you how good i am feeling in here.. "
While he kept talking she kept smiling hearing the sincerity behind his words.. "So what is in your mind for now.. Leaving behind all success or just for a holiday.."
He glanced at her with a uncertain look which showed he couldnt decide what he was doing here.. The food arrived breaking the awkward silence.. She almost decided he wont answer but he started to speak again softly.. " I have a big match coming up after three months.. I guess i will go for it and see how i feel and then would decide whether i have to leave or not.. "
She glanced at him surprised with the fact that he was actually considering the point of leaving all the fame.. Would that mean he would stay in the here among them.. Shilpa set silent for a minute wondering whether to spill out everything or not.. Taking a deep breath she leaned forward and whispered.. " Can we talk outside.."

" When they found out i was pregnant they just threw me out of the house.. They just didint want me in house and face any humiliation.. They told i am dead for them.."
He squeezed her hand lightly walking beside her on the dark road.. " Thats really sad.. But what about your lover.. Didint he.. "
She interrupted his words coldly... " He wasnt my lover.. He was.. Just a big mistake i made in life.. I was blind to trust a man like him who had no interest in commitment.. "
No interest in commitment..Wasnt it attached with himself too.. Arjun realized as he stared at the deserted road..
She sighed and looked at him with a smile.. " As i said he is just a mistake which i have forgotten long time back.. Now i am much content with my life.. "
He smiled back at her softly.. " Thats better and now you have a baby coming in your life.. "
He noticed her smile fading off as her expressions grew tight hearing his words.. She glanced away with a troubled look , as if something was eating up from inside.. He stared at her with a worriedly.. " Arent you happy with this baby.. ? "
She shot a look and him and shook her head with her troubled gaze.. " Ofcourse i am Happy.. Its just Sometimes.. I am scared.. "
He pressed her further encouraging her to speak.. " Scared of what... ?"
She bit her lip trying to find words to explain him.. She didint want to spill out the beans infront of him.. What if he also starts to hate me.. No I cant tell him... " I am just scared that what if anything happens to the baby.. "
His expressions softened as he passed a gentle smile.. " Thats a normal behavior dont you think.. Dont worry you will be fine with your baby "
She passed a lovely smile at him staring at him for a while... He stared back at her for a second blown with her beauty.. He couldnt believe he was speaking with her with such a ease.. When was the last time he had spoken with a girl just like a friend.. He couldnt even recall..
As they reach her home Radhika glanced away flushed as different thoughts started to ring in her mind.. Should i invite him inside for a coffee.. Or should i give him a goodbye kiss.. Goodbye KISS ??? She turned around unlocking the door trying to hide her blush.. He stood behind her silently and her mind raced as she wondered what might be running in his mind right now..
Arjun stood himself confused wondering what to say or what to do.. Never in his life he had been stuck in such a situation deciding what has to be done.. He knew he had to be in his limits just so she would not run away from him..
Radhika turned around with a smile and spoke hesitantly.. " Well then.. Thank you for the dinner i really enjoyed i mean... "
A halt came on her words as she saw his face descending down to her.. Her eyes grew wide as she wondered whether he was going to kiss her.. She closed her eyes with a sigh as he almost brushed his lips on hers , but instead pressed a light kiss on her cheeks.. Her eyes flew open as he drew back.. Her cheeks grew warm as she realized she felt a mild disappointment.. Confused with her behavior she walked inside and held the door when he started to walk away.. " I guess i will leave now.. Goodnight.. "
She sighed and forced a smile on her lips.. " Goodnight Arjun.. "
Closing the door behind her she leaned on it and sighed frustratedly.. " Come on Friends dont kiss.. " She muttered to herself when suddenly a knock came on her door.. Instantly she opened the door to see Arjun who stood there staring inside her apartment.. She followed her gaze and turned around when he spoke quickly.. " I remember i did tell to fix the broken window and the cupboard.. Actually i have to run back to Mumbai to do some shopping this week.. Would it be ok if i come and fix them on first of next month.. "
She gave a slow nod and smiled softly.. " Its fine.. I am here only.. You can do that whenever you are free.. "
He smiled widely and bid a bye walking away quickly.. She stared at his retreating back and closed the door a realization wash through her.. He was going to be gone for a week and she was going to miss him..

"Try to Understand Shilpa. I actually cant assign you into this task alone. You will need someone's help."
"Ya right help. Dont you even remember how many risky cases i have handled all myself. Am known to be one of the best Undercover Agent.If you are worried about me getting hurt.. " A teasing smile formed on her lips.. " Then i can surely take care of myself boss "
Vikram sighed and shook his head. "Thats not my worry Shilpa. I very well know about your experience and knowledge in this field. Definitely you are one of the most dedicated officer here. But you need to calm down and listen to my Plan "
"Fine shoot " Shilpa took a seat infront of him calming down all her anger and irritation.
" So here is the deal. Our target , Mr.Oberoi one of the biggest drug dealer is heading to Goa with his wife.Although he is trying to show he is on vacation, our sources have found out that a big deal is going to be done between two parties. They will be staying in Xenover Hotel so u and ur partner will get a room , and then work on ur mission "
Listening intently to the instructions, Shilpa frowned as a doubt formed in her mind. "I still dont understand boss. Why do i need a partner in this task. The Case looks like i can handle it myself pretty well. "
Vikram shook his head as he spoke.. " You definitely need a Partner. Because Xenover Hotel is inviting couples to stay in their hotel this week. It is only for married couples and their... " His voice trailed off as some color formed on his face.. Shilpa frowned and leaned forward questioningly..

Her eyes widened.. " Are you kidding Me.. No way i am going to any case along with a guy. Are you telling me we have to act as wife and husband ?? "
The uneasiness grew within her as he gave a nod. Its been two years since she had been close to any guy. Two years before she was ready to get married to her fiance' but he had dumped her on their very first anniversary. Since then committing herself to relationships had been impossible task for her..

He was striking, muscular and for the very first time she had seen a man for whom handsome wasnt enough to justify his features. Her scrutinizing gaze ran from his toe upto his head , trying to memorize everything about him. The Armani suit he wore clung to his muscular body drawing him to the next perfect thing she had ever seen in her life. Shilpa cleared her throat and mentally scold herself for shamelessly devouring the sight of a stranger. When had she ever felt like this before in her life. Maybe never. Not even such first time attraction came towards her ex-fiance.
Her thoughts were interrupted with the excited voice of Vikram " Here you are Armaan. "
Her heartbeat rose as he came and stood infront of them with a soft smile. For sometime she couldnt help but just stare at him as he angled his face towards her. Why did she feel as if he was devouring her sight behind those shades. And in that very moment he took of his sunglasses and...
" He is Blind !!! " Shilpa blurted out without thinking as she noticed the way he stared past them. Vikram gave a nudge to her with a warning look while the guy Armaan smiled.. " As a matter of fact I am Miss... "
" Shilpa.. Shilpa Malhotra. I am sorry. I didint mean to sound rude.. " She bit her lip as she felt a dissapointment wash through her with the truth. Such a perfect man had no sight. But the the new doubt rose in her mind as she wondered how she was supposed to work with such a men.
Vikram broke the silence as they headed to the terminal area.. "Shilpa i will recommend you to have a talk with Armaan when you reach your destination. Your flight is in an hour. Good luck to both of you."
Questions kept floating on her mind as she stole glances at Armaan who followed them in a slow pace. She couldnt believe he behaved so cool , she bet no one could guess at once this guy had no sight.That was the moment when she noticed the cane he was holding in his right hand. This guy surely have good taste.. She wondered and unknowingly brushed her hand on top of it only to realize she did a mistake. Armaan stopped and turned towards her , once again she felt as if he was staring right through her which made her shiver in nervousness. And then he smiled and glanced down. " It helps me good. Just to make people realize i am not handicap person.. "
She stared at him dumbly as he shrugged his shoulders and walked forward.. " Shall we go. We are missing our flight. Miss Shilpa.. "

She passed ten minutes mentally advising herself that everything was going to be fine. And the very next minute her prayers were interrupted by him.. " Darling.. If we are supposed to act as wife and husband , i guess we better start talking.."
" I am a good agent. So i guess you should be worrying about your acting ability.. " She hadnt meant to sound arrogant, but just the fact that she was sitting so close to this guy was enough to make her body alert.

His one hand caressed the small back of hers and the other hand snaked on the back of her neck pulling her close. She gasped and put her hand on his shoulders pulling him close. His kiss was intoxicating , she smelled the musky cologne of him which made her dizzy. A soft moan escape from her mouth as he started to devour her lips.. The kiss which started soft and smooth was growing all wild and passionate. Slowly she came back to her senses as she realized the way his hands were under her blouse caressing her soft skin. She gasped loudly and pulled away from him breathing hard as he grinned at her devilishly.. " Looks like we will have a hell of honeymoon "

"So how did you become a agent " Shilpa set infront of him as they had settled in one of the honeymoon suits in that night. The place was indeed beautiful and perfect. But it still reminded her of the kiss which they had shared back in the plane , and it made her wonder if things could heat up more between them. No no no , I am on a mission. He is just a partner.
Armaan lazed on his chair infront of her tapping his food. " I guess your actual question is how i became blind. It was a unfortunate accident in which i lost my sight. End of story.. "
" With that.. " He continued.. " I am a retired agent. But vikram needed my help in this case so i couldnt say no. Do you know that Oberoi is one of the biggest dealer to be caught.. "
" I have been told that " She nodded " We have to start soon with our mission and get a hold on this guy. And i need to finish soon and get away from this guy..
A devilish grin formed on his lips as he glanced towards her.. " I guess its a good idea. When we are done we can actually enjoy our remaining honeymoon.. "
Shilpa cleared her throat and stood awkwardly.. " I will retire to bed now. We have lots of work to be done in morning.. "
Shilpa hurried inside the room with a thudding heart only to hear his amused voice.. " Darling are you leaving your husband on Sofa. That sounds so cruel. Shall i join you.. "

2 Days Later :

" I cant believe this two days had passed and Oberoi is showing up only Now.. " Shilpa spoke under her breath as she noticed Oberoi and his wife who walked inside the restaurant.
Armaan straightened up.. " Is he here.. ?? "
She glanced at him nodding.. " He just arrived i guess. " It surprised her how suddenly she had grown comfortable with him. He had actually been gentle and calm in the past two days and she had successfully got to talk him without any embarrassment. But still it didint lessen the attraction which she felt towards him which annoyed her to the core..
A teasing smile formed on his lips as he took her hand and kissed it.. " Then its time for us to start our game.. "
" They are sitting infront of us.. " She gasped and turned towards Armaan who gave a silent nod. She kept stealing glances at Oberoi when Suddenly..
" What the hell Armaan " She pulled back surprised as she realized he had kissed her neck lightly.. Armaan stared at her with a innocent look and a not so innocent smile.. "Come on darling. No need to be shy. We are on honeymoon after all " He spoke loudly and leaned towards her kissing her neck.. Shilpa let out a nervous laugh and glanced towards Oberoi who narrowed his eyes at them while his wife grinned.. " Oh Honey see. They are soo much in Love.. "
Oberoi gave a nod taking a sip of wine.. " I can see that.. "
Shilpa gasped again as he started to get more passionate with her. Knowing Oberoi's eyes were on them it made her more nervous and uncomfortable. Forcing a smile on her lips she gave a tap on his arm.. " Darling dont you think we should continue back in the room.. "
He grinned at her widely and got up from his seat. Shilpa took his arm and passed a smile at Oberoi's wife as they walked pass them. But Armaan had some other plans. He knocked out the glass of water intentionally and stepped back acting.. " Oh god. I am so sorry.. "
Shilpa stepped in quickly with a apologizing smile. " We are so sorry. Actually my husband have lost his sight so.. "
Oberoi stared at them surprised. " But he doesnt look blind from any angle.. "
His wife interrupted the talk smiling. " Oh honey forget it. Just see how much in love they are. Nice to meet you. We are Mr & Mrs Oberoi "
Shilpa plastered a big smile on her face.. " Nice to meet you too. We are Mr & Mrs Mallik. Hope we meet around soon "

"You are much smarter than i thought Armaan Mallik.. " Shilpa spoke smiling as she followed him inside as he put a towel in his waist heading to the bathroom. He stepped inside and glanced back at her way.. " Arent you joining me.. "
" What " She blurted out surprised as she wondered how easily he would get her off guard.Shaking her head she stepped back sitting on the bed. " I guess not.. '
He grinned teasingly holding the door knob. " Well back there you said we shall continue in the room so i thought... " His voice trailed off as he closed the door leaving back Shilpa in trance..
Shilpa mentally scolded herself for loosing control on her senses. She couldnt believe she was just about to say yes to him. Was she really out of her mind. Was she loosing her concentration over her professional side. she spent few minutes reminding herself to give importance to her work.
Just then Armaan walked out of bathroom drying his hair. Silently she stared his broad back and at the water droplets which kept trailing down his body.. A guilty pleasure rose in her as she realized how much she wanted to run her hands on his back and..
Shilpa shook her head trying to clear out the devil thoughts from her mind. Armaan put aside the towel and titled his head towards her.. " Why do i feel that you are staring at me.. "
She bit her lip trying to make any excuse. But then pride took over her as she replied arrogantly.. "Fine i was straining.. So what "
He grinned devilishly at her.. " Then i will suggest you to enjoy what you are seeing.. "

The next night :

" What on the earth do you think you are wearing " He demanded as they walked inside the party together.
"Its a cocktail dress" She spoke gritting her teeth.. " Dont you think you are taking the husband thing too serious. "
Ignoring her comment he spoke.. " This is unfair. You are wearing such teasing clothes to impress whom. Your fake husband cant even see and enjoy.. But then.. " He teased her.. " I can actually feel.."
Goosebumps rose in her hand as he started to caress her hip sensuously.. Clearing her throat she pulled away his hand as Oberoi and his wife came towards them.. " Ahh here is Mr.and Mrs.Mallik. Nice to see you again.. " His wife welcomed the warmly while Oberoi kept studying them silently..

As they walked away Shilpa turned to Armaan " Did you hear that.. "
He gave a nod staring straight" Looks like tomorrow the deal is going to take place. We have to keep a close eye on him tonight. "
They danced together while Shilpa kept filling Armaan details about Oberoi who kept talking with few strangers. Although she kept a close eye on him her body was alert towards the way Armaan was holding her close.Did he even realize the way he was effecting her..
Shilpa pulled away awkwardly.. " I am thirsty let me get a drink.. "
Giving him a nod she headed towards the bar and ordered for a drink. As she stood in the corner her senses grew alert as she heard Oberoi's voice.. "We will complete our task tomorrow morning 10 pm in Grand castle. Bring him there. "
Shilpa filled up Armaan with the details and both of them headed back to their room making plans for tomorrow. Finishing the discussion she walked inside the closet tiredly. She reached to pull down her zip only when...
" So i guess tonight is going to be our last night together here.. "
Shilpa squealed light and stepped back as she saw Armaan who was leaning to the wall staring at the floor. His crooked grin was enough to make her heartbeat rise wildly.. " What.. What are you talking about.. ?? "
" You exactly know what i am talking about " He grinned as he walked towards her in a slow stride.."Actually its not even my fault. It was you who was wearing that clingy dress. "
" But you cant even see it.. " She protested helplessly as he came and stood infront of her. His musky cologne was driving her crazy by now..
"Ohh i might not see it but i can feel " He replied with a serious look.. " Like this. " He replied softly running his hand on her back.. She stood helpless as he pulled her in his muscular arms.. "Do you even know what i wanna do to you.. "
" What " She whispered as he leaned towards her making her heartbeat wildly..
" I want to kiss you senseless " He replied brushing his lips on hers. And then I want to pull off this teasing dress of yours, take you to the bed and make love to you through out the night until you loose all your senses with me.. "
She gasped loudly as he spoke the words filled with passion and huskiness. His eyes reflecting the desire which he had meant to show her..
She licked her dry lips and took a step back protesting " No .. I... " She tried to get rude at him.. "Actually you are not irresistible as you think "
He grinned widely and chuckled at her words. Taking a step back he walked outside. " Well then prove me that i dont effect you. Come and change your clothes infront of me. "
Her eyes grew wide as her mouth fell open.. "Are you kidding me.. "
" NO i am not " He shook his head as he set on the sofa.. " I am blind.. You remember.. "
Still she hesitated as she clutched her night dress close.. He shook his head and chuckled.. "Let it be.. I already know i am irresistible "
" Fine ! " Gritting her teeth she headed out and pulled the back of her zip letting the dress hit the floor. With a thudding heart she glanced up to see him sitting calm and cool and but his eyes on her.. He cant see me..She reminded herself and pulled on her nightgown .." THERE !! I did it "
He gasped and grinned " Woahhh !! Did you just change clothes infront of me.. "
" As if you would see " She replied sarcastically stepping on the bed..
" What if i can.. " He spoke carefully , for a moment she stared at him with wide eyes while he kept staring at the floor.
She let out a soft moan but regretted at once. Armaan clenched his first and got up from sofa.. "I am coming to the bed in 10 seconds "
And the next minute he was on bed , hovering her and kissing her senseless. She closed her eyes as he pulled off her nightgown caressing her curves with his muscular hands devouring them through out the night .

As the morning rays hit the room Shilpa carefully shifted on the bed and stared down at Armaan who slept beside her peacefully.. She ran her fingers on his arms not being able to believe the fact that they had actually slept together. Last night something weird had happened between them. Their was a unspoken passion which came with the wild attraction. Did he feel the same thing he felt towards him. A halt came to her thinking as he flinched and the next second she was pinned beneath him..
" What " She stared up at him in wonder as he grinned " Remember what i told. I am always very alert.."
She ran her fingertips on his rugged face feeling the stable as he smiled showing his dimples.. " You are beautiful. You know it right.. "
She scowled " But you cant even see me "
" Yes. But i can feel you.. " He replied husky , now his lips hovered on hers and started to kiss her swollen lips senseless making her moan in pleasure.. She knew she could spent every morning in his arms like this. With this perfect man. But before that they had a case to cover.
Case.. Her eyes flew open as she pushed him off.. " Armaan we will get late for our task.. "
" I have to tell you something.. " He spoke quickly getting off the bed. But Shilpa made herself busy.. "Not Now. We will talk when we are done with this mess "

" Other officers have joined us they are covering from the other side.. " Shilpa whispered as both of them stood in the corner of grand castle holding their guns.. Armaan gave a silent nod .. " Lets head inside.. Its been an hour since they went inside.. I guess this is the perfect time to catch them read handed.. "
Agreeing with him she walked inside slowly.. Armaan headed to the other side while she headed to the door. She smiled as she almost walked inside without any threat but then..
" Welcome to the trap.. " Oberoi spoke as he came and stood infront of them with a crooked grin..

" We were fooled.. " Shilpa spoke disgusted with the truth. She wriggled as the goons tied her hand..
" " I very well knew something was wrong with both of you. Did you really think i wouldnt notice the way you kept staring at me. I didint take me much time to realize its some lame officer after me.. "
" I am not Lame !! " Shilpa shouted " I very well know how to deal with Drug dealers like you.. "
Oberoi stared at her in surprise and broke into laugh.. " Drug dealer ??? Are you serious ? Man she is much dumb than i thought. Darling am much higher than you are think. Not any so called drug dealer. Am a known Murderer for your kind information.. "
Shilpa stared at him stunned as he came towards her smiling.. " What a pity you didint even have any idea about my profession. Anyways i cant risk keeping you alive. "
He aimed the gun and her. She closed her eyes still not being able to digest the truth. Why was she deceived about his real identity. She closed her eyes tightly but then a voice startled her..
" Not so fast Oberoi " Again she stared stunned at Armaan who stood behind Oberoi holding the gun to his head. But it wasnt the thing which surprised her. Armaan Mallik was staring right into his eyes smiling..
Oberoi sucked in a breath " You are not blind.. "
" Oh am sorry i am not.. But in order to catch you i had to act blind. Looks like my plan went off pretty well "
And then he fired killing him right on the spot. Shilpa set unaffected trying to adjust the truth in her head. He wasnt blind !! He could see all the time he was seeing. She closed her eyes realizing she was deceived back through out the case..
Shilpa opened her eyes seeing the officers taking over the area.. As she stood up she noticed Armaan who kept staring at her concerned.. " Are you fine.. "
She folded her arms and shook her head.. " So everything was a lie.. "
He tried to speak when she interrupted.. " Who are you.. ?? !"
His grimaced and then spoke.. " I am Armaan Mallik. CBI officer. I was assigned for this case a month ago. We had to go with the plan and i needed a patner who least knew about it "
She closed her eyes feeling disgusted.. " So in truth you used me for your work.. "
Guilt filled in his eyes as he shook his head.. " No I.. Let me explain.. "
Hissing in anger she slapped on his cheek and headed out of the place..

1 Month later :

Maybe i could enjoy here. Shilpa walked inside the pub trying to ease of the tension which she had been feeling since a month. Since the time she had run off from Armaan. She had spent long time cursing him , hating him but still she couldnt help but miss him. His touch awoken the passion which she had been missing from years. Was he really the man for her.. No if he was he wouldnt have hurt me.. But then what if she had given him a chance to explain.
Feeling the distress she took a seat infront of the bar playing with her drink.. "If he has to come he will"
" Thinking of me Darling.. " His voice rang in her ear sending chills down her spine.. She gasped and turned around. Again she felt stunned seeing the handsome man who stood infront of her with his trademark grin. Trying not to show the effect in her eyes she turned around.. " What do you think you are doing here.. "
" Searching for you.. " He shrugged and then smiled.. " Why do i feel you take your agent role too serious. I had spent a hell lot of time searching for you.. "
She couldnt help but smile seeing the frown on his face.. " Well then i guess serves you right for deceiving me "
He sighed and then held her hands.. "I already feel guilty for that. So i am here to correct my mistake. I was thinking if you would be interested in some other case.. "
" A Another case.. ?? " She raised her eyebrow amused as he grinned in returned.. " What counts in this case this time.. "
He faked a serious look rubbing his chin.. " Nothing much difficult. You will just have to become my real wife this time and try to entertain me. What say for a life time.. "
She grinned playing along with the time.. " The case sounds very... Interesting "
" It is " He flashed his smile.. " Just accompany me to the bed every night. This time i will make sure i enjoy every view without faking blind "
