~Part-20~~Last Part~
One month had been passed after their wedding. Arnav's life became full of awareness, care, and responsibility for Khusi. He had forgotten that it's not his biological baby. Khusi was shocked seeing him so caring about the baby. She thought that Arnav might feel some problem to adjust with her pregnancy and especially with the baby. She had felt that Arnav couldn't stand her to remember her past life or family. He always wanted her to think about her future. But the sudden change in Arnav's behavior towards her baby was really surprising.
Arnav was becoming crazy day by day thinking about the baby. He was restless to take it in his lap and to feel his warmth. He started to think the baby as his own child.
Arnav:Khusi I just can't wait to see it. And I want a girl just like you.
Khusi: For a mother all children s equal. But I want a boy.
Arnav: No it'll be a girl.
Khusi: Boy
Arnav: Okay, okay lets wait and watch. Whatever it will be it will always be our child. right?
Khusi: Yes.
Arnav: Wait a minute sweetheart. Let me come back from the washroom Take care of yorself okay? And if you want something then please call me.
Khusi: Okay.
Khusi started to read a magazine while her labor pain started. At first she thought it would decrease after some time but it didn't stop. She started to scream to call Arnav but he was in the washroom so couldn't be able to hear her screaming.
Khusi's pain was increasing and after some time she started to vomit. Arnav came out of the washroom and took a glass of fruit juice for Khusi but when he reached the room then he couldn't find Khusi. He was about to scream when he heard her screaming for help. He went to the ante-washroom and found her in a very bad condition.
He however rushed to the hospital with her.
In the Hospital:
Arnav was standing out of the operation theatre with a much tensed face. Aakash, Payal and Nani reached the place.
Payal: Where's Khusi?
Arnav: She's in the operation theatre.
Aakash: Bro, please keep patient.
Arnav: I'm trying to..
He couldn't complete his words. His eyes were becoming wet. He could feel the pain which was being felt by Khusi then. He could bear with everything but her tears.
Nani: Beta, don't be so tensed. Everything will be under control.
Arnav: How can I be relaxed? I can feel her pain, I can hear her screaming. I just can't understand why only the women have to tolerate all these pains and problems. I just..
He left his words incomplete. Just hugged Nani and let his tears ran.
Nani: Be strong Arnav. Be strong. I know its painful but after the painful way you going to be a father. It's a prideful matter. Don't worry okay? Keep patience.
Payal: Arnav please don't be so tensed okay? We all are with you and Khusi.
Arnav nodded his head to show that he was convinced. But his mind was feared for Khusi still now.
In the operation theatre:
Khusi was screaming in excessive pain. Doctors were tensed because of her health. Internal bleeding was not stopping for a moment.
Doctor 1: Try your best doctors. We need to save both of them.
Doctor 2: But how is this possible? Internal bleeding is not stopping and other things are also being critical.
Doctor 1: The baby is well but the mother's health is showing no sign to be cured.
Doctor 2: We should try to save the mother first.
Doctor 1: Yes, but for this we have to do the delivery of the baby as soon as possible. Let's get to work now.
Doctor 2: Okay.
After 1 hours of fighting with the death the doctors was able to deliver the baby heal and hearty.
The nurse washed the baby and went out to announce to all that it's a girl child.
Arnav was extremely happy seeing his daughter. He wanted to take it in his lap and to give love as much as he could but the Nurse didn't allow it for the fear of infection.
However, Arnav wanted to meet his sweetheart but the nurse gave him the saddest news he could hope.
Nurse: Sorry Mr. Raizada. The doctors tried their best to save Mrs. Raizada but there's a very thin hope to save her. Please just pray to the almighty God for her life.
Arnav was totally broken now. He didn't cry a little but became silent. The pain for losing the woman he loved so much had made him totally shattered.
Payal's eyes were full of tears.
Aakash didn't know how to control all these and especially his brother.
After half and hour the Nurse came and told to all that Khusi was no more in the world.
Her body was passing through the corridor where all were standing.
Nani wiped her tear silently. She put her hand on Arnav's shoulder to make him feel better.
Arnav didn't want to stay there for even a moment. He wanted to run away. But there was something which stopped him from doing so.
He could feel his love in it. He could feel the warmth of Khusi in it. He could feel his Khusi in it. Yes it was the baby. He grabbed her from the nurse and hugged her tightly. He let his tears run now. It's his love's last sign. He is never going to lose it at any cost. Their journey of love ended but a new journey of Arnav's life began.
4 years later:
Payal: Khusi come-on dear, please have the glass of milk. I'll give you a chocolate. Okay?
Khusi: No, sweetoo, I'm not going to drink it till my boyfriend will not come.
Then Aakash tried to make her drink it.
Aakash: Khusi please, have this, I and sweetoo will surely give you chocolates.
Khusi: Oh, buddy, why are you bothering so much about it? I'm saying that I'll drink if my boyfriend will come and feed me. Do you understand buddy?
Aakash made a face for fun and went to call her boyfriend.
After 5 minutes he came back with her dear bf.
Khusi ran to him and flanged her arms to his neck.
Khusi: Where were you BF?
BF: Sorry princess. I was a little busy in my office works so became late. Please don't mind.
Khusi: I can't imagine my BF, Arnav Singh Raizada can be late in anything.
Arnav: Oh really my little girlfriend? Okay I'm holding my ears for being late. Now drink the milk fast. You need to go to school now.
Khusi drank it soon and bade adieu to Arnav and set in for her school.
Payal came and placed her hand on Arnav's shoulder.
Arnav: Oh no, not again Payal. I'm happy with my new girlfriend.
Payal: Really? Don't you miss your old one?
Arnav: Why should I miss her? I know that she's not with me but someone who belonged to her is here for me. My dear daughter Khusi is with me. I need not to be sad or to cry now. I've got the reason to live, to breathe and to be happy. And you know Payal that Life goes on'
