It was a great ending, it took me a while to read because the nurse in me was itching to correct the medical stuff, sorry😳. But I really liked it, it was sad Kushi died, but ASR got a new girlfriend who was exactly like his old one.

You don't have to, after all it is a fanfic. I am just crazy like that, nurses go figure. But if you want to know then, first off unless there is something seriously wrong with the baby or mom/dad has a blatent infection, we usually give the baby to the mom/dad after we have checked them out, so that they can begin building a bond and we can teach mom/dad how to hold and feed the baby. Also, you can never mention anything or say anything about God(s), heaven, or hell, it is politically incorrect, you can ask them if they would like spiritual support, but saying something like God and suggesting praying is a big no no. Also even if mom is critical, the first thing we always do is but an ID band on baby, mom, and dad, otherwise baby can not be taken out of the room. Also most of the time, unless it is a drop-in, and we get a lot of those, mom knows the risks and we have a signed order/consent from mo, on who we should save. Ok I'll stop, otherwise I am going to drive you crazy, I told you it is the nurse in me, I am going bonkers, I should be sleeping, I have work tomorrow, but insomnia is a pain.
