Chapter 10

Arnav slammed his fork on the table. Pushed his plate away from him. He stood up fiercely and he grabbed my arm roughly and started to drag me upstairs to his room. And that only meant one thing " The Dreadful Talk" I said as a whimpered.

- Arnav, Arnav, Arnav - The whole family was trying to stop Arnav.

That was the only problem of Arnav. His anger is the major problem of him. His anger makes him do anything. He could eventually kill someone with that anger he has. And know I couldn't believe Lavanya is going to marry him. She is definitely going to regret.

- What nonsense is this Khushi - Arnav said angrily.

- Nonsense, actually which part do you think is nonsense? - I wondered.

- That Meethi part and all that - he said frustrated.

- You think Meethi is the nonsense part. Just because she's diabetic does not mean you're the father of hers okay. There are tons of people around the world that are diabetic too. It's not only you. - I said explaining.

- But I never said anything about me being her father - he told me.

- I… um…. I… thought that Meethi was the nonsense part - I said mumbling.

- By that I meant the whole family know thinks that I am Meethi's father cause of the diabetic thing but I came here to tell you just to ignore them. - he told me.

- Oh. That's all. Okie Dokie I understood you - I said relieved.

- But now I'm curious why did you think that I called you here? - he asked me.

- Nothing I just thought ummm - I tried explaining

- You thought that I was going to tell you that Meethi is my child because of the whole diabetic thing - he said completing my sentence.

- Yeah that's what I was thinking about - I said fake smiling.

- Well? Is it um.. True? - he asked me nervously.

I stood there blank. This question was the whole part of our story. I just didn't know what to say. If I say yes, than I don't know how will Arnav react. His marriage with Lavanya will be ruined. And if I say no I would be lying to the whole family and especially the guy who is the father of Meethi. I just didn't know how to answer him. Whatever I do today I hope you will forgive me devi maaya.

- Unfortunately it's not true - I said devastated.

- Khushi please, just look into my eyes and just say Meethi is not my child.

- Arnav I told you she's not your kid and it isn't. Do you want more proof or something? - I said mad.

- Well if you are really confident that she's not my child than look at me and say it. - he said.

- If you don't believe than it's not my fault you can think whatever you want but just get one thing straight Meethi is not your child - I told him.

- Khushi if your stubborn I can be stubborn too, you are not leaving this room until you look into my eyes and tell me - he said in a demanding voice.

- What childish is this Arnav? Why do you want to know this? And if she is your kid what about the responsibility you have to take? - I said questioning him.

- I don't care the damn about the responsibility, I just want to know if I have a little daughter - he said frustrated. Just look into my eyes and say it and I will believe you.

- Arnav you are making this hard, why can't you believe me? - I told him.

- Khushi I have always believed on you but this matter my heart is telling me your lying so I can't believe you - he said softly.

- Than don't listen to your heart, listen to yourself - I told him.

- I can't because someone special told me that your heart is always right - he told me.

- I was wrong at that time, I was deep into your love that I was telling you the foolish things ever - I was telling him.

- That's all you have to say? What about those precious moments that we spend? What about the love we had for each other and now your destroying it all - he told him.

- I didn't destroyed it all, you were the one who destroyed it all by not trusting me. You picked your best friend over your own wife.

- It was my mistake I was too stupid that I didn't know what I was doing? - he said.

- Well it's too late now and I have no intention to forgive you - I told him walking slowly back.

- I don't care if you don't forgive me or not I just want to know if I have daughter - he said mad.

- How many times do I need to say no - I told him shouting

- Are you sure? Positive? - he said clearly.

- yes do you want to do a DNA check or something - I said frustrated.

- Are you sure? This is you last chance - he asked me again.

- I'm positive - I said.

- So meethi is my child? - he asked me.

- What I said no right know - I told him confused.

- No you said yes - he told him.

- I said no and that means you have no daughter - I told him.

- Stop confusing me Khushi - he said.

- me, confusing you you're the one who is confusing me - I said really confused.

- Let's go back down - he told me

There I left downstairs all running, devastated. I'm sorry Arnav. I know what I did was totally unfair to you. But I had no choice. Maybe it's meant for us to be separated. There was no Khushi and Arnav together it was just for a short time. We were never meant to be together. Our kismat was just to be separated not to be together. I wished I could have told Arnav happily that Meethi is your child. But he would be hate me forever. That I lied to him and his whole family.

- Khushi, let's see how long your lie will last. I am Arnav Singh Raizada and I know Meethi is my child. I take a vow right now that I will make you say that Meethi is Arnav Singh Raizada child in front of everyone and will bring you back into my life as Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada.
