extremely sorry for the late reply dear. its been monhs since i had visited forum and read all the last three parts in a go.

wow finally maan and geet became one.
i was so happy when maan found geet.

i wanted maaneeet in the epilogue tooo😭

but stilll loved the ending.
i trul;y appreciate the fact that u did not kill dev in ur ff.

because his life had now become a curse.

i recently read a poem name psalm of life written by H.W.Longfellow.

dust thou art, to dust returnest ,
was not spoken of the soul.

well these lines say that a mans body is born from soil and ends in soil but the soul is always immortal .

but i would say that its not only the soul but love is also immortal. maan andgeets love is something that can even win over death. mrityunjai is a perfect title for the ff !!!!!

i would just like to modify the above lines as

dust thou art , dust thou returnest ,
was not spoken of love.

on the whol;e loved ur ff sayanee. it aws a really plesent journey . if time permits pls give another epilogue with maaneet.

waiting for mohenjadaro.😊

when I first started reading the story, thought it might be a story of rebirth. the burnt temple, devdutt in remorse, remembering maanendra's words...even the title. till almost two parts back, had the same hope... since the love that surpasses even death just pulls me... saying that, loved this story of a girl brought up to be a devdasi and a prince in hiding...their romance among the sculptures...the statues that say many love stories...the passion...the dedication... hidden in those great artists...just love all those old temples adorned with great scultures...depicting so many hidden stories...wars... way of life... which is lost with the time... you just brought back all those beautiful memories with your story. its been very long since I read a historical novel that too romantic one. with strong characterisation be it geet or rajyalakshmi... the great priest devdutt who fell because of his lust...what a punishment for him... whole life to serve , worship the idol which reminds and reflects his sin and his failure...he destroyed every art piece made by maan showing love of geet and maan ... but couldnot do anything for the devine form their love took in radhakrishna idol...he had to bow infront of them...mrityunjai... the titile aptly suits the story... me was thinking of rebirth to gain love... but , you made both of them defy death... and unite for ever in present life itself...awesome story !!! thank you for writing such a wonderful piece ! hope to read more from you...

even though i'm not hindu, i enjoyed the story.
i've never read any ff set on that time period and the devdasi concept really attracted me to this ff.
if u write more do tell us.
