Maan was sleeping with his arm around Sameera when he felt her shift and turn the light on. The light rushed into the room causing Maan to bury his head under his pillow.

"Sam…what are you doing?" he asked, "Turn off the light."

She didn't say anything in response at first.

"Maan…" she called but he didn't respond. "Maan…"

"Hmm…" he groaned from under the pillow.

"Maan…I…I don't feel right," she said.

That caught his attention as he came out from under the covers and sat up, turning on the light on his side of the bed as well.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

He watched as she shifted uncomfortably on the bed.

"I don't know…something just…something just doesn't feel right," she said.

"What do you mean?" Maan asked.

Her answer came in the form of a scream as Sameera doubled over in pain holding her stomach.

"Sam!" Maan yelled as he jumped out of bed and rushed to her side.

"Hospital…we need to go to the hospital…" Sameera said with gritted teeth.

Maan pulled back the covers that covered her legs and lifted her into his arms knowing that she was in no condition to walk.

"Oh God…not again," she cried.

Maan followed her eyes to the bed and instantly his heart sank. On the pale green sheets was something unmistakable – a fresh blood stain.
