I know I have been late again, apologies😆 Well hre's another update😆

Part 34:

Mayank reached the hospital as instructed by CJ. He hadn't foreseen it always when he told her to take care, he hadn't! He hadn't even given it a thought; it was like in his nature to ask her to be careful so that he remained assured about her, he hadn't even imagined this part ever, really.

Right now he was in too much hurry to know about Nupur that he didn't wait to think what could happen to her. He couldn't think of the situation as alike to what had happened to his dad. He couldn't even believe in the present moment which seemed more like a blur of panic than anything else.

He reached the reception area and asked about Nupur when CJ came hurriedly towards him. She wanted to reassure him about Nupur but all she could do was explain to him what had happened, crying though she wanted to hold back.

Mayank wanted to not show his panic at all, he wanted to be calm and wanted to believe that it was all deception. This once let it be that, he prayed.

He asked firmly about where Nupur was right now and what doctors had actually said.

CJ explained that they are examining her but they wanted money deposited before they could take this forward.

Mayank fled towards Nupur.

He reached the room where she was lying on a bed, with blood covering her at random places. He saw her head hurt. Her left hand, shoulder and legs seemed wounded too. From what he could see, he couldn't help comparing now, the state of his Dad to Nupur now and he hated himself for doing that. She didn't seem to be so affected and he wanted to believe too, that she wasn't.

He asked the doctor about her condition and they didn't say that she was too critical in a situation, though they didn't commit what he wanted to hear. He had to finally talk about arranging the money in a short while, while they started with her treatment. They agreed thankfully.

He went to a nearby ATM centre, got some moey out of his account and headed straight back to the hospital to deposit a minimum amount there. After calling his Mom, he waited restlessly.

He wished he could shut his brain down for a while. He didn't want to think negative, or that something bad might happen to him again, or that he wouldn't see Nupur smiling back again. Even a thought to it and it made him feel dizzy, something broke him inside. He couldn't bear to think that, at all.

That left him to just pray and think of the good times of Nupur. He wanted to remind himself that those will be back again, soon! He kept calm restlessly.

Just a few days back life was so much in control….he could manage her wounds on his own.

As Nupur brought in the ointment, Mayank walked upto her and tenderly took away it away fro her and applied it to her, himself.

Nupur just looked at him, feeling a tear in her eyes for no specific reason as she heard him say, "Mujhe tum par bharosa nahi hai ki tum apne liye yeh sab karogi and dhyaan rakhogi…isliye ab mujhe hi yeh karna padega jab tak tum seekh nahi jaati…"

Even when she had fallen while they had met in a coffee shop to discuss their marriage, she was being feared even the needle. He wondered why she was so prone to wounds when he wanted to keep her the safest. And now??? What could he do now ? If only there was an option of 'Undo' in real life!

While he figured out where could he arrange more money from, he remembered her some more.

She was right there in the room in front of him and he missed her so much!

"Mayank…tumhe hamesha pata chalta hai naa ki kya karna chahiye aur kya nahi. Kya sahi hai aur kya galat…toh yeh, yeh decision sahi hai naa?"

"Mayank mujhe nahi pata ki tumhare liye iss Shadi ka kya matlab hai…par mere liye yeh bahot important hai…specially jab uss waqt jab humne shadi ka decision liya tha to tumne jo baatein kahi thi…woh baatein mujhe bahot saare promises kar gayi thi…aur main tumhara saath expect karne lagi thi tab se"

"Mayank…agar main woh nahi kehna chahoon aur phir bhi tumhara saath chahoon to kya tum phir bhi 'I'll be right here eside you' kahoge?"

She had been so insecure in the start with him, but later she had embraced him in her life so easily that it made him wonder and also, love her more.

"Simple! Tum dhyaan rakho aur mujhe kuch samajhne ki zaroorat hi nahi…"

"jahan tak dependant hone ki baat hai…toh agar tum mujh par thoda dependant ho bhi jaoge toh mujhe achcha lagega…"

He told himself not to think negative, all will be well, infact all is well! He need not remember her like that, he would soon be sitting there beside her and tell her how angry she has made him and let him down by not taking enough care of herself. He need not think of her moments since he'll soon be making new ones with her. But he couldn't help, couldn't help thinking negative, missing her, remembering her.

"Thoda rude? Saboo ki tarah toh gussa aata hai tumhe…thoda aur rude hote naa toh logon ko heart attack ka khatra hai tumse…thoda rude?"

"Mayank, Date?...Dekho main ab bhi ek chote shehar ki hi ladki hoon, mujhse yeh sab nahi hoga. Mere liye toh bas simple sa logic hai – shadi aur happy ending"

"Maine toh pehle hi kaha tha naa, ki agar tumhe nahi dekhna toh mat dekho. Main kahan force kar rahi thi. Waise bhi hamein wahi karna chahiye jo hamein pasand ho! Tum shaukh se apni kitaab padho"

"Matlab Mayank…shadi ke liye agar tumse koi milne aaye toh?...excited hoga naa…haina?"

Some of her silly words could make him laugh, but now. Right now all that did was to make him feel increasingly unstable.

If tomorrow never comes

Would she know how much I love her

Did I try in every way

To show her every day

She's my only one!

Love was just a mild word for what he felt for her right now. He never knew the intensity and he didn't even want to measure it even now, all he just wanted is her back, smiling to him!

He saw Shilpa Sharma walk in the corridor of the hospital and he couldn't help heading her way. His eyes were moist without him realizing that they were. Shilpa Sharma tried to assure him. It was just her who could understand what he was going through right now. She always knew he loved her, without even second thoughts about it. And right now, she could understand were one of those times when he couldn't help being weak, vulnerable, like her small child who needed all the assurances in the world to that his mother can change the world for him.

She hugged him and patted his back while Mayank said slowly, "Ma, I want her back!"

Shilpa Sharma reassured him, "You will beta! Woh theek ho jayegi. Bilkul theek!"

She wished from her heart for Nupur, Mayank and for herself .

Mayank looked in his Ma's eyes and tried to believe her words. Life just wasn't fair to him. Why was it trying to put him in such a situation always?

He was shocked inside so say anymore.Stunned at the real deal that life throws at him always. Why was it so difficult to let Mayank Sharma have precious ones kept safe?

You know ur update actually made me sad..and touched my heart!!

It brought me back to Mayur memories...when Nupur left for Morena...and Mayank told Shilpa Aunty " Main usse bahut pyaar karta hun"

such a heartwrenching update...finally he realised he is in love...bt d last line touched me d most...why is it so difficult 4 Mayank 2 keep his closed ones safewaiting 4 d nxt one...pls update soon..thanx 4 d pm😃
