Chapter 4 a
The Beach Walk
The party goes well, Shilpa was much happy after her birthday party.This was indeed a memorable day for her, life was going so well and smooth,
After a week shilpa was going to left for London in a week, for her thesis. she tell's Armaan about it on the very next day after her b'day. On hearing this Armaan felt again suffocated with insecurities somewhere in his heart, he knew it'll take long time to complete her thesis. He was getting attach to her day by day that the thought of living away from her was painful, All he wanted was to get marry soon, but it was not possible until her studies completion.
On the other side Shilpa was too feeling sad on leaving. She wasn't use to live away from her loved ones but now for the sake of her career she needs to be bold enough to survive this distant trip and she was leaving for 2 months. On one side she was a bit satisfied that her gang was also going with her, as they all were assign to complete their thesis in respective time.
But before leaving obviously she wants to meet Armaan for once.
The week passed so quickly, and today both were going to meet for a long hours.
They had their lunch to-gather and after that they left for beach, on the sea view side.
Armaan Shilpa selected to go on beach for the peace of their Heart and Mind, as both were worried or you can say more scare, scare of the distants which was coming towards them,, feeling sad about not they'll be able to see eachother for about 2 months.
They reached on beach and Both start walking on the side of the beach with bare feet, the tides were touching their feet time by time, and the touch of cold water on their soles were making them feel light & relieved from their sadness.
Hand in Hand fingers in-twined with eachothers. Both were walking silently.
But this time shilpa had stayed her head on his shoulder ,and was inhaling his manly strong cologne.
When Armaan breaks the silence.
Armaan in a sad tone with controlling his emotions :So, for how much time you'll stay there ?
Shilpa draw backs her head & looked above on him with sad eyes : probably for about 1 and half month or 2.
After a long silence he asked.
Armaan : Shona ! . . . . . . . . . . . . will you miss me ?
She didn't answer, instead she griped his waist tightly by hugging him from side.
She ignored his question cz she didn't want to answer it, it was difficult to tell him how much she gonna miss him that's why she just expressed her answer in her one pure hug, she had show her coming fear with her grip on his waist. And then by ignoring his question she asked him.
Still walking on the edge, with water touching their feet.
Shilpa : how's your work going ? I heard you are not paying any attention on it.
Armaan who was reading her each and every expression and was registering her gestures came back from his thoughts on her voice, he takes a deep breath and smiled inwardly on her acts, that she is so shy in expressing any thing. Whipping out his thoughts he shifted his mind to her question and said.
Armaan : yeah ! actually its near to be close, market is not accepting my company. And I'm not bothering it to be regain its value as I have another business to take care. Dad offered me a hand in his business. So I was thinking to close my company soon.
Shilpa : That's not a good thought, you had build that company and now at this stage you are giving up, you should atleast try to save it and I'm sure you can do it.
Armaan : I know, but the fact is I dn't have any employees there so its almost difficult to rebuilt it again.
Shilpa : give it a try atleast.
Armaan : hmmm ( he was not in a mood to argue so he just ignore to extend this boring business talk, and ask )
Let's go for a long drive.
Shilpa was surprised by his sudden change in mood, but she understand the reason he was sad cz of her leaving and she was irritating him with this boring business talk.
Shilpa looking at the golden sun who was sinking at the sea edge : not now, I want to see the complete sunset.
Armaan smiled on her demand, and pulled her more towards him.
Shilpa : I want ice-cream ( demanding like a innocent child )
He was enjoying her this side of innocence,
he frowns and said : There is no ice-cream corner around how can I brought it here.
Shilpa pouts like a stubborn child on his answer : no I want it now, why dn't you go and bring the cone, see there ( pointing towards the direction of the cone stall )
Armaan looks at that direction : That one ? Yakhhh , no that's not ice-cream that's fully an un hygienic thing.
Shilpa : but I want it now Armaan, please '
Armaan shook his head in disbelieving on her so careless behavior towards health and sighed, and said : okay wait here.
He go to that stall, and ask the owner to give him a cone, when he was preparing the cone Armaan made sure that the he didn't do any TRADITIONAL act of unhygienics.
But still Armaan was doubt full on it. Not wanting still he He brought that for her.
She take her ice-cone from his hands and start to licking it, like a 5 year old doll.
And armaan just watched her smilingly who was enjoying her so called ice-cream.
They both watch the sunset inhaling cool sea breezes to calm down their selves, after that they made their way towards his car to leave the dark beach now.
Armaan takes her to a long drive, along with the sea side. When it starts raining
The moment was perfect, it was nearly dark now and the sea view through the wind screen was making a perfect scene and to add more romance God gifted them the rain.
Both were silent, since last an hour, cz there was no need for any words b/w them,, their silence was speaking with eachother, and for them eachother's presence was enough to satisfy their growing feelings.
The radio was on in a merely audible voice. But the melodious songs were making the atmosphere more romantic.
After an hour of a long drive, they reached at Malhotra's Mension. Armaan stops the car.
There was a silence inside the car, as non of them was ready to say Good Bye.
Non of them want to leave right now. So they keep on sitting without speaking any thing to eachother.
After a while, Shilpa breaks the silence,
Shilpa : ummm uuhh okay then, bye , Good Night.
Armaan remained silent and didn't speak. Staring in her eyes deeply.
Shilpa opens the car door and was just about to leave the car, when suddenly Armaan grabs her hand and making sit again.
She looked surprised by his sudden action.
Armaan : Just stay more for a while please.
There was a plead and pain on his face, he want her to stay with him for more some time.
He didn't realize after his engagement when he made so strong bond with her, that now a thought of Life without her makes him feel jolted in pain. Here he was trying to fix their marriage soon but first her studies were the barrier and now her final trip for her thesis was going to be the cause of distance b/w them.
On hearing his pleaded voice she stayed there, with lowered gaze, Armaan was looking
At her with so much intensity in his eyes that she couldn't take his intense gaze and lowered her eyes to avoid the heat oozing out from his Dark, deep blue sea eyes.
Armaan brings her hand towards his face level and kissed her palm saying,
Armaan : I'm gonna miss you shona.
On hearing this a tear escaped from her eye which she was trying to hide since past few hours till she was with him, she dn't want to cry, cz she was bold to handle every situation but in her life for the first time she was so weak under such emotion which Armaan was pouring into her by his love and care for her.
She looked up to him with teary wet eyes, although her vision was blur due to the thick pearls in her eyes, but she can easily see him crying. Yes he was already in tears. She didn't feel good for him, he was crying, being a Man he shouldn't cry like this. But he was helpless. He was in SAME CONDITION under which the Bold Shilpa Malhotra was going weak. And here Armaan Malik was crying like a 4 year baby, he either didn't want to cry in front of her, he didn't want to cry like this, he didn't want to show his weak side, his insecure side, his possessive side. But seems like both were helpless.
She draw her head onto his shoulder and closed her eyes, for a moment both got silent again. After a while she said : Armaan ! please, dn't make it difficult for me, its already paining, just a thought of staying away from you making me suffer in pain.
its just a study visit I'll be back soon.
He kissed her forehead and said smilingly: Shona, we are getting married after you came back, and its final.
She stops in b/w her talk and looked at him with disbelieve, she didn't know how to react, she was happy yet shocked to hear this from him. She didn't have any idea what he thinks about their marriage thing. Either he is curious to get marry or not, but she saw him desperate to be married.
But she was feeling proud to know that he wants her in his life ASAP. This makes her feel faded all her pain of going away from him cz she knew when ever she'll return, she'll be his, all his.
On hearing his words about their marriage she smiled through her teary eyes with a lot of glow on her face which already occupied her face on hearing about marriage.
Seeing her smile Armaan kisses her forehead so lightly.
Shilpa with same teary eyes glowing face, looking into his eyes : its getting late Armaan, I should leave now. Can I go ?
Armaan smiles : Sure'''Wait. ( getting out from the car, he made the car door open for her )
Shilpa got out from the car says : Good Night Armaan.
Armaan hugs her tightly, staying her his head in the crook of her neck. Saying : try to be back soon please.
Shilpa hugged him with same emotions and love, when he feels what his act did to her, he realized his mistake, un-intentionally he again made her cry by his possessiveness.
He draw back form the hug and said : I'm sorry, I'm so stupid, I'm making it tough for you as well as for me.
Good Night and then he stepped back from her.
Shilpa lowered her gaze on his statement and start taking steps away from car, after few steps she stops and turn saying.
Shilpa : Armaaan ! '''..
Armaan with confuse expressions : hmmm what ?
Shilpa gesturing him to come near : Listen
Armaan takes steps towards her saying : yeah what happened ?
Shilpa goes near to him speaks into his ear
Shilpa : I Love You ( with a shy smile )
Armaan who had lowered his head to listen to her with full attention, on hearing her words her smiled with a cute confused frown on his face still standing on the same position.
Sayings so Shilpa walks towards her door as much as quickly as she could.
While Armaan was still under the effect of her words, which she rarely use to express infront of him. After 1 min when he was back from him world, he shook his head in a loving way on his fianc's lovely act. He get back into the car, staying his head on steering wheel, suddenly he lift up his head and with a thought he pick out his mobile, and start typing a message to her.
Armaan
[ Why you didn't wait for my reply ?? :| ]
She was just reached in her room and nearly made herself fall on bed, she was tired but then the time she spent with him was playing infornt of her eyes she smiled remembering all the time she had spent with him, and all her tiredness was gone, just then she heard a beep near her head, it was her cell phone which she just dropped on her bed and now it was laying besides her, she picked that up smilingly cz she was sure about the person on otherside.
Screen showed one text message received
She opened that and find out a that he was curious to tell her about his answer. She texted back.
[ so what was your reply ? :P ]
Armaan heard the beep and saw her teased reply, he smiled and again type a reply,
[ will tell you tomorrow ]
This time with no emotion, he knows that this was enough to make her alert from his coming up intentions, with this thought he smirked and send that.
Getting another reply she curiously open that and find out just a statement with no expression define clearly, she was confused yet alert now she knows that, they'll again going to meet tomorrow, as it was a Lunch at Maliks.
Extracting the meanings of his last text she didn't realize when she fall asleep.
