Part 9

Maan- What happened Dr Armaan?

Armaan- Nothing how do you know Ridhima

Maan- Me and Ridhima are going to get engaged next month if everything goes according to plan, Ridhima's a nice girl I'm very lucky to have her in my life

After a few minutes Armaan got up and went to the locker room he wasn't happy at all, the girl he loved was going to be someone else's fianc and then wife, he wanted to do something he had to tell Ridhima his side of story, most of all he wanted to tell her he loves her.

Armaan- (to himself) I need to tell Ridhima

Just then Muskaan came to the locker room and saw Armaan she wasn't very happy at all

Armaan- Muskaan where's Ridhima?

Muskaan- I don't know Armaan just leave her alone

Armaan- I can't I need to tell her my side of the story I don't care what she says she has to listen to me, I'm going to go and find her

Muskaan- Armaan don't create a scene it's a hospital Ridhima's with Dr White it's time for duty so you might as well come, I know you want to talk you can talk after duty

Armaan knew Muskaan was right so he just followed her to the hall Dr White gave everyone their duties and all the interns went to do their work

A girl called Hannah was admitted to hospital for trying to commit suicide; Dr White gave this case to Armaan and Ridhima

Dr White- Dr Ridhima, Dr Armaan I want you to work on this case together Hannah is 18 years old girl, who tried to commit suicide she cut her veins because her boyfriend left her, I think you too will be able to deal with this case better, ok then I will leave this case file with you 2

Ridhima- Dr White I was (Interrupted)

Dr White- No Dr Ridhima you can't have another case or change your partner sorry now get to work I will see you lot in 2 hours

Dr White left

Armaan- Ridhima we are in hospital we have to work together let's put our personal problem aside and work on this case

Ridhima- I have had a look at the file she's really weak Dr White's done some tests results aint come yet

Armaan- Yeah, she's got high blood pressure too I think we should go and do check up

Ridhima- Yeah lets go

Armaan and Ridhima go to Ward 4

A/R- Hey Hannah I'm Dr Armaan and I'm Dr Ridhima we are interns here, we are taking care of you today

Hannah carried on crying

Hannah- I don't know why he doesn't love me no more we were together for 2 years he left me (Cryingly) I love him too much I don't know what to do

Ridhima- Hannah please don't cry it's not good for your health let me check your temperature

Armaan- I will get the blood pressure machine

Ridhima- Temperature is normal I will just write in the file

Armaan- I will do the blood pressure ok Hannah keep your arm still please it's gona be a little tight ok, please stop crying Hannah if someone wouldn't cry for you shouldn't cry for them ok, he's a idiot for leaving a beautiful girl like you, please try and control yourself you can't cry you have to be strong ok, it's all done now

Hannah- I love him too much I don't know how he can forget our 2 years

Armaan- Hannah if he will come around if he loves you please don't worry take care of yourself if you ever need anything you can let us know, I am concerned about your blood pressure its high Dr Ridhima write it down in the file, I'm going to prescribe some medication for you

Ridhima was in her own thoughts everything was coming back to her regarding her and Armaan, Hannah started crying more

Armaan- Dr Ridhima write the blood pressure down I will go collect your blood test results and get some medication

Ridhima- Yeah ok

Armaan left

Ridhima sat with Hannah talked to her

Ridhima- Hannah please you have to stop crying look boys aren't everything you have your family and your friends, they love you loads please don't ruin your life just for a boy your doing A levels your gona be going university you're a bright student, Dr White called your parents they should be coming, I promise you Hannah everything will be ok

Hannah hugged Ridhima and cried more

Just then Armaan came

Armaan- Ridhima can you come with me Dr Whites calling us

Ridhima- Ok be right back Hannah have some rest ok

Armaan and Ridhima went to the intern's office

Ridhima- Armaan what happened? Is Hannah ok you collected her results where's her medication?

Armaan- Ridhima Hannah's pregnant

Ridhima- WHAT!!!

Armaan- Here's all her test results she's really weak and her blood pressure is high she hasn't eaten anything in 2 days we have put her on the drip

Ridhima- OMG!!

Armaan- Yeah, I think she knows that's why she won't stop crying maybe that's why she tried to commit suicide

Ridhima was really upset

Ridhima- We have to tell her and her parents so we gta give her the injections instead

Armaan- Yeah lets go

Ridhima- Hannah we saw your results your 3 months pregnant

Hannah- I know I am I told him that and he left he was like he doesn't want responsibility and he don't love me no more, My parents are really different if they find out they will kill me (she cried more) that's why I tried to commit suicide

Ridhima- Hannah you tried to kill yourself and your baby it's part of you, according to the law parents aren't allowed to hit their kids we live in England not abroad, it's your decision if you want to keep it or not

Armaan- Yeah, I'm going to give you an injection your really weak you need this injection it's not going to hurt at all (he got the injection Hannah moved her arm)

Hannah- I don't want it please I'm scared (She cried more)

Ridhima- Hannah please stop crying you need to have this ok it won't hurt I promise (She holded her arm) Armaan put the injection on

Armaan- Ok Hannah it won't hurt at all (he put the injection on) All done welldone you know when me and Ridhima were in college 1^ST year, Ridhima hurt herself she was admitted to hospital you should of seen her she screamed all the hospital down because she had to have an injection I don't know how she became her doctor's she's so scared of all these injections and taking blood out

Hannah laughed Ridhima was angry

Ridhima- Shut up Armaan it was all your fault you know Hannah we were in college we got like a massive hill there it was really sunny you know he thinks he's it so the idiot went on the top of the hill and pretended to faint

Flashback

We see Armaan and Ridhima in the college canteen with their friends

Josh- It's proper sunny today me and Emma going to the hills you lot coming

Rahul- Yeah I'm coming let's go Muskaan

Roshan- Yeah come on Henna lets go

Muskaan- Armaan, Ridhima get up lets go

Armaan- Come on Ridhima get up

Ridhima- Armaan I'm not coming you know I got that careers interview I'm wearing smart clothes and heals my suit will get ruined no way I'm not going on the hill you lot carry on I will go to the library I have to collect some books

Ridhima went to library got her books and attended her careers interview then went to the computer room. Everyone else was on the hills having ice cream and enjoying the weather.

Armaan- Ridhima had the careers interview now she's gone to the computer room, instead of spending time with me she's spending time with books and computer and taklu (bold) mr arnold Muskaan I have a plan

Ridhima looked outside Armaan was lying down unconscious she quickly ran from the computer room, the lift was taking years to come so she quickly took the stairs and she was running really fast she didn't read the sign saying wet floor and she fell down now Ridhima was unconscious. One of the teachers so Ridhima unconscious and they quickly called the ambulance

Henna- Guys ambulance come to college lets go see what happened? Everyone got up

Muskaan rang Ridhima no1 was answering just then the teacher answered the phone

Muskaan- Hello Ridhima we were joking Armaans fine we are coming wait there

Teacher- Muskaan its Gill here Ridhima fell of the stairs come to reception

Muskaan- WHAT OMG!!! OK I'M COMING (she disconnected the phone) Armaan Ridhima fell of the stairs we gotta go reception

Paramedics- We are taking her to the hospital can you inform her family and who's coming with us

Gill went with Ridhima to the hospital Armaan took his own car and went to the hospital he was really worried

They put stitches on Ridhimas head and bandaged her arm and leg her parents were there, after a while they went to get something from canteen, Armaan quickly came after a while Ridhima regained conscious

Armaan- I'm sorry Ridhima I'm really sorry I was joking and you hurt yourself so badly

Ridhima- Armaan I thought something happened to you I thought you were hurt so I ran so fast I didn't read the sign, but you lied playing a prank on me

Armaan- I won't ever do that again I'm sorry I thought I had lost you so much blood was coming out your head (he had tears in his eyes)

Ridhima- Armaan I'm fine ok don't cry now who's being a baby gta tell everyone in college the great Armaan Malik is crying

Armaan- I don't care Ridhima if anything happened to you I wouldn't be able to live I love you so much I don't ever want to lose you I can't imagine my life without you

Ridhima- I love you to Armaan

Just then the nurse came to take some blood tests

Ridhima- No I don't want a blood test you can't take any blood out GO AWAY!!!!

Ridhima was shouting badly at the nurse

Armaan- Ridhima stop being a baby they need to check your blood stop it be quiet and let the nurse do the test I'm right here I will hold your hand

Ridhima- No!!! Please Armaan I don't like all this (She started crying)

Armaan- Ridhima please don't cry ok it will be fine

Ridhima- No please!!!!

Nurse- I will call the doctor he will do it

The nurse went to call the doctor after 10 minutes Doctor Lucas came

Dr Lucas- Hello Ridhima, I will be doing some blood from you today I promise it won't hurt a bit even, just a little sharp scratch; ok it's very necessary we do these if you don't then you will have to stay a lot of days in hospital I'm sure you don't want that do you

Ridhima- I want to go home as soon as possible please I'm not staying here

Dr Lucas- Ok if the blood test is alright you can go home soon

Armaan- I'm right here Ridhima it will be fine Doctor you do the bloods (he holded Ridhimas hand)

Dr Lucas- Ok Ridhima keep your arm still ok it's going to be a sharp scratch

Ridhima- Ahhh...ARMAAN!!! ARMAAN!!!! (She started crying) ahhh

Armaan- It's alright Ridhima it's all done now

Dr Lucas- Yeah it's all done welldone Ridhima now we are going to the blood test from the wrist

Ridhima- No way No!!!!!

Ridhima started crying loudly

Dr Lucas- Please Ridhima stop crying there are other patients here too, please calm down we need this test done its just 1 bottle ok It's going to be another sharp scratch ok

Ridhima kept moving her hand and crying really loudly

Dr Lucas- Ok fine I won't do it I'm going to have to tell Dr Shashank to come himself

Armaan- So Hannah it's not only you even Doctors are scared so don't worry

Armaan hinted Ridhima to play along just to assure Hannah relationships do last, Ridhima nodded

Hannah- Please don't leave me they will kill me

A/R- They won't Hannah please don't think like that we are going to do our rounds then we will be back ok

Hannah parents came she talked to them and Armaan and Ridhima left to see other patients

Maan- Ridhima can you please go to the children's ward please one of my interns has gone home because they got ill

Ridhima- Yeah sure Maan

Maan- Thanks

Ridhima went to the children's ward she went straight to the play room got a doll hugged it

Child- That's my doll give it back to me please

Ridhima- Shut up it's my doll only mines (she took it and went straight to an empty ward) your my beautiful daughter I love you Mama loves you so much, I'm going to take you from here so just me and you, your Papa, Nana, Nani are horrible, I only love you no one else, you want to go sleep come on Mama will get you to sleep, go to sleep go to sleep little baby go to sleep (she picked the doll up and walked around the ward) mere bacha has gone to sleep very good Mama is very happy I love you my baby girl. I won't let anyone snatch you from me, Mama ki pyaari beti

Ridhima sat there for 2 hours hugging the doll

Now we see Dr Shanshank and Dr Maan talking in the senior Doctors staff room

Dr Shashank- Maan have you seen Ridhima

Dr Maan- Yes I did I gave her duty in the children's ward

Dr Shashank- WHAT!!! WHY DID YOU DO THAT FOR!!!!

Dr Maan- Sorry I thought (Interrupted)

Dr Shashank- Dr Maan resume your duty please

Dr Shashank quickly got an injection and ran towards the children's ward there was an empty room no lights were on he quickly went inside switched the lights on. He saw Ridhima hugging the doll and singing lullabies.

Dr Shashank- Ridhima beta what are you doing get up?

Ridhima- Go away Papa I don't want to talk to you my daughters sleeping please be quiet she will wake up your making too much noise, meri pyaari beti so rahiye hai

Dr Shashank- Beta yeh kya paagalpan hai maine tumhe samjaya tha yeh tumhaari beti nahiye hai sirf ek guriya hai, please beta get up come with me

Ridhima- See what you done now she's crying now ssshhh mera bacha shhh Mama is here don't cry Nana is nasty we don't like him chaloh hum kahiye aur chalteh hai meri pyaari beti

Dr Shashank was really angry now Ridhima was going out the ward no one knew she was like this; her career could be get ruined if anyone see's her likes this. He got the doll threw it on the floor and slapped Ridhima across the face

Dr Ridhima- Papa meri beti (she quickly went to pick the doll) beta are you ok why isn't she crying Papa why isn't she crying you killed my daughter (she started crying loudly)

Dr Shashank- Shut up Ridhima (he quickly put injection on her)

Ridhima fell asleep Dr Shanshank took her to her cabin and left her on the sofa, Maan saw all this and came running

Dr Maan- What happened to Ridhima?

Dr Shashank- Beta she fainted subah seh kaam kar rahiye hai she didn't even have breakfast in the morning, she has less vitamin D in her, I just gave her a vitamin D injection she will be fine in a while you resume your duties I will sit with her

Dr Maan- Ok

Dr Maan left

Armaan had completed his duties he went to the canteen he got some coffee and sat down with Muskaan on her table

Armaan- Muskaan where's Ridhima?

Muskaan- Armaan I don't know probably on duty

Armaan- Ok Muskaan I'm going to fix everything I'm going to tell Ridhima the truth

Muskaan- That's good Armaan I know I was against all this you might as well tell her the truth she deserves to know if I see her I will talk to her, I'm sorry for shouting at you but I was angry

Armaan- It's alright

Just then Rahul came

Rahul- Muskaan I was finding you everywhere and your sitting here

Muskaan- Yeah I was having coffee and talking to Armaan

Armaan- Yes we are, you know guys we are altogether now just like college, I'm going to tell Ridhima the whole truth and she will have to listen

R/M- Yeah you should

Meanwhile we see Ridhima waking up

Ridhima- Papa what happened? What am I doing here

Shashank told her some fake story

Ridhima- I'm sorry Papa I don't know how all this happened I forgot to take the injection

Shashank- Maan had sent you to children's ward to resume duty because one of the interns had fallen ill, you went there and fainted

Ridhima- OMG!!! Who's looking after the kids

Shashank- Don't worry beta another Doctor and intern are there beta you go home have some rest

Ridhima- Papa I'm fine

Shashank- Beta you go home please you need some rest for my sake please

Ridhima went to the locker room to get her stuff, Armaan followed her inside and he locked the door, Ridhima saw this and she wasn't very happy

Ridhima- Look Armaan whatever your story is I don't care I'm going to marry Maan he's my parents choice, I agree with their choice my own choice got me no where nothing besides tears and pain I trust my parents choice Maan's the right person for me now excuse me

Ridhima was about to go Armaan grabbed her hand again

Armaan- Ridhima I know your angry with me I'm sorry causing you all the pain but today you have to listen to me, it wasn't all my fault ok I want you to know the truth our baby (Interrupted)

Ridhima- What are you talking about Armaan? What baby? You killed it before it was born it was all your fault your pushed me and I fell I lost my baby, Armaan you killed my baby you're a murderer

Armaan- It was an accident I didn't push you ok you tripped I didn't kill our baby she's alive her names Riya Malik my brother and sister-in-law adopted her, you had a caesarean I was there the whole time fighting with your parents how they were like you treated our daughter bad you pushed her this and that, I won't deny it we were fighting but I didn't hit you, I wouldn't kill my own baby, so when you went in to labour you were 7 and half months, then your parents had to choose if they wanted you or the baby they obviously chose you, I would of wanted both of you to survive but if I had to choose it would of been you, so the operation happened I was crying outside the whole time I wanted you both, the operation had finished they saved both of you Riya was put in incubator and you were in Coma, your parents were shouting they didn't want their granddaughter Dr Shanshank was crying badly in the hospital and Prem he battered me up badly, so in the end your parents said to me to take the baby and go they didn't want to see my face ever, when I said Ridhima's my wife the mother of my baby they said no she's not we will explain to her you leave her alone, your mom and dad wanted you to go university study and become a doctor they didn't want you to be mother, they said everything in the book to me, I wasn't wrong Ridhima I have always loved you, I had to tell you that day when you came out of coma you didn't remember anything about the baby you only remembered college days me and you being together, I said all them nasty things because I had to, your parents didn't want me in your life, the best thing was to leave you they told you a fake story saying u fell from 5^th floor etc you believed them, you said Armaan don't leave me alone so many times and I didn't want to leave you I wanted to be there with you, but I couldn't ruin your future your parents were right they wanted me out of your life so you could have a better future, they were right today you made it you graduated you're a doctor. (Ridhima was really shocked) today I can't even call her mines she thinks she's my niece I wanted her to have a nice home mom and dad both she's got a nice family my brother loves her and so does Anjali Bhabhi, I wanted you to know all this you didn't lose our baby, I didn't kill it on the day that we were arguing there was water in the hallway that's why u tripped I didn't push you I was stopping you not to go there

Ridhima- No this can't be true Mom and Dad wouldn't lie to me I don't even remember having a baby or me and you fighting I don't understand it's impossible

Armaan- It's the truth Ridhima try and understand I'm not lying I'm telling you the truth you can ask your parents if you don't believe me, why would I lie about all this

Ridhima- Armaan you can't ever see me happy with anyone else that's why you don't want me to marry Maan

Armaan- Ridhima I'm not lying ask your Mom and Dad they will tell you the truth. I always loved you, I still do and I always will I don't want to lose you now that's all I wanted to say, Ridhima please try and understand

Ridhima fainted

Armaan ran towards Ridhima

Armaan- Ridhima what happened? Ridhima

He opened the locker room and took Ridhima outside Dr Shanshank came and he was really shocked to see Armaan and Ridhima unconscious in his arms

Dr Shanshank- Bring Ridhima to the ICU quickly

They went to the ICU

Armaan- What happened to Ridhima?

Dr Shanshank gave Ridhima another injection and kept her in observation and Dr Lucas came and sat with her 2 nurses came as well

Dr Shanshank- Armaan come with me to my office

Armaan- Just tell me what happened to Ridhima

Dr Shanshank- You came back again it's all your doing what did you tell my daughter?

Armaan- I told her the truth everything what you didn't tell her she deserved to know

Dr Shanshank- Shut up Armaan you ruined my daughter's life Armaan I wish I never got her married to you, I love my daughter so much I listened to her and she married you, her life got ruined she has Schizophrenia which is a split personality disorder

Armaan- What? Schizophrenia

Dr Shanshank- Yes after that incident she went into coma she woke up she asked where her baby was she wanted it, we didn't have it you took it with you, we told her the baby died she couldn't take it and after a few days she started acting really weird she got her old dolls and started playing with them calling the dolls her baby, she started to talking to it, she was hallucinating hearing or seeing things that do not exist, after a while she will go to sleep and wake up and then get back to normal act like she's in college and all she doesn't even mention the baby, it's a split personality. We are trying our level best to keep her happy I'm giving her injections medications she was doing, it's your fault again you came back to my daughter's life to ruin it again, she's better off without you don't talk to Ridhima again I don't want you anywhere near my daughter, your work here do you job and go home don't ever talk to her, her health will worsen and it won't be good so I beg you stay away from her.

Armaan- You lied to her Dr Shanshank I didn't leave her you made me leave her, our baby is alive and she's 4 years old I told Ridhima you know she doesn't believe me, she has blind faith in her parents especially in you, it's because of you Ridhima's ill if you had listened to me let us be together and sort out problems out ourselves it would of been ok but you didn't want to listen you wanted me out of her life and you didn't even see your grandchild you didn't care

Just then Dr Maan came

Dr Maan- Dr Shanshank you didn't inform me Ridhima's been admitted in hospital

Dr Shanshank- Maan she's fine just lack of Vitamin D don't worry I have given her medication she will be fine in a while I'm taking her home, Dr Armaan make sure you do what I told you otherwise it won't be good

Dr Maan- Dr Armaan you need to resume your duties in cardiac ward 4

Armaan- Yes Dr Maan I'm going

Armaan wanted to see Ridhima but he didn't chance after his duty was finished he went straight to the special ward where Ridhima was admit

Armaan- Nurse where's Dr Ridhima?

Nurse- She's been discharged she's gone home with Dr Shashank

Armaan- Ok thanks

Armaan didn't get chance to talk to Ridhima he resumed his duties and carried on working

Meanwhile we see Ridhima at home Padma is taking full care of her

Shazy- MAMA I'M HOME IM HUNGRY I WANT FOOD!!!

Padma- Coming beta, Ridhima mein abhi athi hoon

Ridhima- Ok Mama

Padma left

Ridhima got up from her bed and went to the cupboard she couldn't find what she's looking for

Ridhima- Mama's coming beta where are you? Don't play hide and seek with me kahaan ho beta... (She heard someone crying) beta don't cry I'm coming (she checked her whole room she couldn't find anything (she threw all her things on the floor and started crying badly) MAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PAPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
