Hi everyone my name's Anam Ali this is my 5th fanfic I haven't written a fanfic in ages , so I'm trying my best to make this fanfic like the other's I have written, my writing style isn't that good. I normally write in script form for this fanfic I have tried to write in story form. I'm not sure yet if it's going to be a short fanfic or a long fanfic depends on the responses I get from everyone.

Trapped in the past and present
Dear Diary,
I have graduated now I'm very happy I finally made it my entire life I was waiting for this day to come, I finally got my degree and I'm a Doctor now I have fulfilled my dream. I have everything today a beautiful family, my friends who have been with me through thick and thin, I have a degree; I have a secure internship in Queens Elizabeth Hospital which is one of the best hospitals in Birmingham. I have everything I made it this far with the support of my family and friends I love you all.
There was a point in my life where I had given up on everything I thought it was no point in doing anything, I was forgetting that I have to be there for my parents I have to do well I was a bright student my parents always wanted me to be a Doctor, I also wanted to be a doctor I wanted to fulfil my parents dream, I wanted to make them proud of me so I decided from now on I will only give priority to my family, friends and my education there was no space for anyone or anything else in my life.
So I carried on with my life and gave myself another chance and now I'm very happy that I made this decision today I have achieved a lot and I have made a future for myself.

Someone put their diary away and goes running downstairs "Why you screaming? What happened Shazy?" We see someone dressed in blue jeans and black shiny top with black high heels. Shazy was really excited and was going crazy she had photographs in her hand "Di guess what Mama has given me these photographs of Jiju, you have to see them he's gorgeous, he's got hazel eye, Di have look" Shazy gave her the photographs. She threw them on the floor " I told Mama I'm not interested I don't want to get married why is she showing me photographs, I told everyone clearly that" Just then someone came and interrupted her "Ridhima beta I know you told us your not interested but you're forgetting you said yourself after you got your degree and a stable job, you will get married to the person we choose for you, so now we have chosen someone for you, he's from a respectable family and he's also a Doctor, you both have a lot in common same education and he's perfect for you"
Ridhima had promised she would listen to her parents do whatever they say but she didn't say all this wholeheartedly. She was really upset but she never showed her tears ever, she promised herself that she wouldn't cry ever, she was a strong person crying was just not her answer to everything, she always wanted to find solutions for the problem rather than crying. " I'm sorry Mama (she picked the photographs up and put them on the table) Mama I need some time I don't think I'm ready for marriage after my internship I will get married I promise please Mama give me some time" Her mom wasn't very happy with her decision " Beta you always say that you need time we wanted you engaged last year and the year before and you refused saying you were studying and you need time, beta you have had enough time right Shazmin you have to agree with me on this she's had 5 years we said you could do your own choice but you said No, so I don't know what you want" Shazmin agreed with her mom "Yeah Di Mama is right you have had a lot of time to decide I think you should agree I want you to get married so I can see my cute cute niece and nephews, Di we want you to be happy (she hugged her)
Ridhima hugged her back "I'm really happy Shazy you lot are just exaggerating I'm fine I don't really need anyone in my life right now"
Ridhima Mom wasn't really happy with this answer "Beta you're not listening at all to what we are trying to say, fine how about you meet him first and then decide we will get you both engaged and then married after, you can't say no this" Her mom didn't want to hear a no she wanted Ridhima to say yes, she wanted Ridhima married as soon as possible.
Shazmin supported Ridhima in everything but when it came to marriage she supported her Mom "Di atleast agree to meet Jiju he's really nice" they all tried to convince Ridhima but she wasn't willing to listen.
So Shazmin came up with a idea " Di meet him once I will come with you too yeah and if you don't like him just say No, simple and no one will say anything to you, that's the best solution what do you think Di?"
Ridhima was in deep thought "If I don't say yes they will annoy me all day I might as well say yes I will see him and say No, that's it so I'm happy and Mom and everyone is happy. Mama, Shazy I will meet him happy now please don't bother me, I'm going to meet Khushi " Ridhima quickly got her bag and car keys " Mama I will be back in 2hours and " she was interrupted by Shazmin "Di can I come plz I haven't seen Khushi in ages" Ridhima wasn't very happy with this she didn't want Shazmin to come with her "Shazy you can't it's no space in the car I have to pick all my friends everyone's coming so you can't come I will take you next time, you stay at home plz I will be back quickly then we will go shopping together, yeah Saima was saying she's coming later she phoned I forgot to tell you so you have to stay home bye gta go now see you later" Before anyone can say anything Ridhima quickly left the house.
Ridhima Mom wasn't very happy " Shazmin did you see your sister she never listens to anyone why did you say she's allowed to say no, she can't say no we promised them that Ridhima will become their daughter-in-law only we can't back out they have been waiting for ages now"
Shazmin on the other hand was very happy "Mom just don't worry once she meets Jiju she can't say no, I 'm sure she will agree you just relax, by the way Mama I'm hungry I want some food"
Ridhima Mom went in the kitchen to make food for Shazmin
Shazmin went to the Dining room "there is something definitely wrong why is Di gone out and she didn't take me, normally she takes me everywhere with her, I hope she's not gone there"
Just then the phone rang RING RING RING
Shazmin went to answer it "Hello"
