Brilliant! Seriously amazing! I know the basics of Greek Mythology but not the details. I know more about Indian Mythology so this interlude left me a little confused, but that's alright, it was fabulous just the same! :D

Wow, what a terrific use of metaphor and language!

Sookie, yet again, once more, your use of language compels me to write in to let you know how much I admire and envy you your writing skills, which I would love to have given as I am a person who works with langauge.
You have such a varied sense of nuance and phrase that is most appropriate - one can see a clear shift between the interludes, which have a softness, a roundedness about them while the main chapters are sharper and crisper. Keep writing and don't ever stop.
This a terrifc tale you are spinning like Penelope. making us want more and more of it.

This is the first time I'm responding to your Interludes Sooks...

Why do I have a feeling that Geet will loose her life? No one will be able to save her from him? He even mentioned he could harm the people who are protecting her...he knows the consequences of that act and he stays back...its like sitting on a hot chair, you want to jump off it but you stay put for the cause of it...

I read it once again. Why would the claws and wings not let him go? Or is he really not ready to leave the mortal world himself . I think his reference to worms might be Maan and Satya. I think he knows they are trying to find him. That's why trying to squash them would bring him out in the open.

I wonder which memory did he hold onto in the end ???
