Today's update made me rethink about Interlude II and this is where the story board changes a bit. This person has not been part of Geet's childhood. And neither does this person seem to have been taken under Geet's parents' wings. There was nothing hinted at from the meeting. Surely you are moving away from here to Geet's college, so I don't expect any more returning back to Geet's hometown.

Another info that is to noted is that the first time the stalker made an appearance was when Geet was 16 and this ended in a case of identification. We know the stalker is aggressive right then, from the assault report of the look-alike girl.
And then he doesn't make an appearance until she is Third year of college...Hmmm! Man this guy is real twisted in his fantasies of her to take a step into reality.

Aggressive? He left the girl alone when he realized that it wasn't Geet. He could have simply killed her under the carpet of eliminating potential witness but he didn't. Why? And trust me I wrote it specifically like this because it gives in a peek into the mind of the killer; his behavioral evidence that Maan and Emily dissect in coming updates.

Real food for the mind, is what your this piece of fiction is...And now I'm overstuffed with information after over thinking this...I think.

edit-- I know your FF is a hardcore thriller which in present scenario can't turn to a love story b/w Maan 'n' Geet(atleast till case wraps off & Geet is rid of her inhibitions) & I actually I like your fic as it is coz your reasoning for development in story is quite sound !!👍🏼
