there is a saying in bengali, generally used to define "short stories",😊

"sesh hoiyao hoilo na sesh"😊

(Loosely translated as : The end is not really the end)😕

As I mentioned in my last comment, I as a reader want to know "what now?"

And I have my answer here. Of course she would find a new one to play with.

One confusion though: I get the part where she was referring to the artist. But in the end was she referring to Maan? (too many pronouns had my brains fried)

And as for this story and this thread, I have had the best time reading and interacting on this thread ever on IF.👏

Got to know some extremely well-read and super intelligent ladies and learnt from them.😃

Drove Sooks crazy at times with our Maaneet fancies.😆

And ofcourse our genius, the writer.👏

Loved this thread, will miss it😳

This is so true of all of us..at some points in our lives we have all faced these demons-sometimes we have given into them and other times overcome them...but its a constant battle to always do the "right" thing when under extreme duress coz doing the opposite is so much easier.

One of my closest friends is a psychaitrist and i intend to make her read this FF ...want to get her feed back on the last 5 chapters and ur description of what goes on in a sociopaths' head. Will keep u posted.

This is one the best psychological thrillers Ive read...and have sure read plenty being a huge Hitchcock fan and the owner of his entire horror/thriller book series. Can only imagine the kind of research u must have done as well as the emotional roller coaster u wud have undergone whilst writing the story. but ist all been worth it coz this is one helluva great story!!!

Need i even say how good a writer u are, Sookie..thats pretty much established...let me just say, that pls keep on writing and keep on exploring new genres coz whatever u do, u excel at it!

i just loved the sublime chapters. it's like i can feel the emotions, detachment in geet.

i wish next update will be very soon not months later. waiting eagerly to read what geet thought about maan and the 2nd killer. did she know who he was? was she pulling the ropes as well? If not what was her reaction after sasha's murder? why exactly did she called mel after anjali's murder? did she want Mel to be found out? why? maybe rereading will help to find some answers though😆

sorry, i didn't notice your last update before my previous comment. I could've just edited it and write again but strangely i wanted that to remain.

I will always remeber this story. this is one of the best writing I have ever read. the story engaged me to a level that I spent quite a bit of time thinking about all the mythology and complexity of all of it. I am planning to read that book soon. I am not very good with words. I cannot even express .1% of what this story made me feel. love you. and thank you for your effort

Hi,

Why don't you start part-2 in which he catches red handed with evidence against her?

I know its a very tedious process to write such a story but we humans always wants the wrong to diminish, destroy and the right to win .

I can't say how but it would be good if Maan catches her and puts her in a situation where she cannot do anything but confess everything to him. Atleast he will be in peace .

Just a small suggestion.Hope you like it.

Maan would never be able to catch Geet :-) If its about confession - her persona doesn't allow her to be someone like that. She would probably give up her life if she feels that she is being cornered. She isn't someone who upholds life and morality against everything.

Everything can be discarded - that's her motto.

Besides, Maan is at peace. :=) He would always keep an eye on her and keep knowing about her whereabouts. But above all, he is a cop. And Geet isn't the only criminal (?) out there

That's my roundabout way of saying that am not writing a sequel 😆 Probably go back to Eternal Return but not this.
