Finally, its finished!

A month and half of continuous writing is finally over. It was one of my most difficult stories to write given how I had to maintain a suspense and also tell a story at the same time. It was a first for me - writing a crime drama and I had total fun writing it. (And like my old pals would say - I actually finished writing a series.)

I thank all of you who commented on this thread and kept me on my toes by questioning every tiny detail. The guessing game was extremely interesting and it showed me how people envisioned the story.

The ending is not something I am sure most of you are looking for but this is exactly how I wanted the story to end - with an open note. I believe that certainty which I see in most crime dramas do not exist in real life and I did not want an ending which would kind of deem people as "innocent" and "guilty".
In this story the innocent isn't really innocent and the guilty isn't really guilty. I hope you can see that.

Again, many thanks to everyone who read this story. Couldn't be here without you guys.

urgh u know what dear this open ended conclusion actually made me to pull my hair...
but absolutely fantastic thriller story...
all through the story i couldnt point who the killer might be...
hope Geet wasnt the mastermind but Maan thinks the opposite...
no romance also...
sigh...
enjoyed throughout the story dear...

Sooks -whoever was incriminated I thoroughly enjoyed the reading - from Geet's answers to killer and Maan -it seems as if she's confessing her crimes

brilliant ... very very well written... thoroughly enjoyed the story, but I am as confused with the ending as I was in the beginning ... did she or did she not? that's the question!!!

Well, the story mentioned five deaths (I am assuming that the constable is alive) -- eve-teaser, senior alias stalker, Sasha, Anjali and Malvika.

And, Maan suspected Geet of being the mastermind behind all murders.

"You know I do," he replied not facing her.

"I would like to see you prove it Maan," she said. He didn't know if she was challenging him or asking him to let her free of the guilt. He sincerely believed that she wasn't innocent as against his colleagues.

"One day, I will." Maan said turning back and smiling at her sincerely.

She smiled back.
