Raj was sitting on his chair, his eyes were closed and he was having a smile on his face. This smile always appears on his face remembering those golden moments of his life; the moments in which he have everything- love, friendship and more than that a feeling of togetherness, because even before their confession he knew that he will always find his nia on his side being his support and his best friend. But as he opened his eyes, reality stuck him. Smile disappeared from his face and tears started flowing through his eyes. He was feeling very helpless, today he has nothing; first, he lost his friend and then he lost his love and now, on one is with him who can stand by him and who can support him. He is getting more and more weaker day by day. Just then, his phone rang. He smiled a bit and then picked it up.
Raj: - "Maa."
Veena (Naina's Mom): - "Raj, tu theek to hai Na?"
Raj: - "Jee Maa, me bilkul theek hun."
Veena: - "Jhooth mat bol Raj, teri awaaz sun ke mein samajh gayi hoon ki tu kaisa hai? Tu apne saath aisa kyun kar raha hai, naina ne phir se tujhe kuch kaha na?"
Raj was unable to speak and tears were constantly flowing from his eyes. Veena can very well understand his condition, even she was crying on the other side, "Ra, tu sun raha hai na?"
Raj: - "Maa, me kya karun?"
Veena: - "Pehle to rona band kar aur khood ko dosh dena bhi, yeh baat to tu bhi janta hai ki jo bhi hua, us mein tera koi dosh nahin tha, phir tu kyun aisa kar raha hai. Jab tak tu khood apne uppar bharosa nahin karega, tab tak tum naina ko bhi is baat ka vishwas nahin karwa sakte, samajh rahe ho na raj?"
Raj: - "Jee Maa."
Veena: - "Chal ab jaldi se apne aansoo saaf kar aur nia ko vaapis lane ki taiyari kar."
Raj: - "Maa, Nia kehne ka haq sirf mujhe hai, agar Nia sun leti to ab tak yeh puri academy tabah ho jati."
Veena: - "Jaanti hoon. Mein sirf tujhe chidhane ke liye keh rahi thi. Ab apne chehre par ek muskaan la aur ek nayi umeed ke saath apni manzil ki taraf apne kadam badha."
Raj: - "Jee Maa. Mein aisa hi karunga."
Veena: -"Theek hai beta, ab mein phone rakhti hun."
Raj: - "Jee Maa, apna dhyaan rakhega." Saying this, he cut the phone.
Veena is crying badly now. She doesn't want to cry on the phone because it will affect raj more.
Prerna: - "Kya hua Veena?"
Veena: - "Raj, mein usse is halat me aur nahin dekh sakti, wo tut chukka hai prerna aur is waqt sirf naina ka pyaar hi hai jo usse sambhal sakta hai varna mujhe dar hai ki jaise humne naveen ko kho diya hai, hum vaise hi kahiin raj ko na kho de."
Prerna: - "Aisa kabhi nahin hoga veena, mujhe apne bte aur uske pyaar par poora bharosa hai; aur dekhna mere bte ka pyaar naina ke gusse ko pighla dega. Raj ne naina se sirf pyaar hi nahin kiya balki us pyaar ko apni har saans ke saath jiya hai."
Veena: - "Tum sahi keh rahi ho Prerna, is baar raj apne pyaar ko apne se door nahin jane dega."
Veena composed herself with a belief that raj will get his Nia back one day.
On the other side, raj was sitting on the chair holding a pic in his hand. It was Naveen, raj and Nia in this pic. Raj touched Naveen and Naina in the pic and said: - "Dekh lena Naveen, me bahut jaldi tujhe be-gunah sabit kar dung aur apni Nia ko bhi apne pass vaapis le aaunga. Tu bas apna vishwas mujh par se mat hatana." He said like this for some time and then, he composed himself and then continue his work. His eyes were red due to all the crying but these eyes also had a determination. A determination to get back honor of his friend, a determination to get back the trust and a determination to get his love.
The scene shifted to ground where Captain Nair was taking the drill of first year cadets. All the cadets were running and as usual Captain Nair was passing unusual comments on them.
Pooja: - "Saala Muchhad, samajhta kya hai apne aap ko, hamesha hamari baatery down karne ke piche padha rehta hai, drills tak to theek hai, par iske faltu ke comments mere handset me virus ki tarah ghus jate hain aur sara system hi kharab kar dete hain."
Yudi: - "I completely agree with u Pooja, this Captain is acting weirdly these days."
Aalekh: - "Aisa to hona hich tha na, us mucchad ka student uska uppar chad kar bhetha hai, to wo saala apni bhadas apun sab par nikal raha hai."
Huda: - "yeh kamina major jab se aaya hai na apni zindagi barbaad kar di hai."
Ali: - "Huda Bhai, aapko Major Sir ke bare me aisa nahin bolna chahiye, unki vajah se humhe kabhi koi takleef nahin ho sakti."
Huda: - "Ooye, tu yeh itne bharose ke saath kaise bol sakta hai."
Ali: - "Aapne dekha nahin tha ki us din kaise unhone humhe bachaya tha."
Huda: - "Wo to tum sab ko impress karne ke liye tha aur tum sab usse impress ho bhi gaye."
Ali: - "Huda bhai bas ijiye aap."
Huda: -"Tu to us major ki aise tareef kar raha hai jaise usne tujhe rishvat khilayi ho."
Aalekh: - "Eh Jhat, faltu me dimaag mat kha. Major Sir ke bare me faltu bolega to tere thopde ka rang badal dunga."
They started a fight which is noticed by Captain and he got a chance to punish all of them. He called them and asked them to do 30 rounds of the ground in 45 minutes. Everyone was shocked. Naina was seeing all this from a distance. She thought to talk with Captain but knowing his nature; she dropped the idea and sent a message to shalini saying: - "Send Veer immediately to the grounds, cadets need his help" Shalini immediately forward the message to Raj. Raj was doing his work when he received the message. He immediately left his office and move towards ground. Reaching grounds, he saw that cadets are running and are in bad condition, they have lost their power but captain Nair is ignoring their condition and is continuously passing unusual comments on them. Shalini also reached there because she doesn't want to miss one more chance.
Raj: - "Stop all this."
All the cadets stopped on hearing his voice and thank God for this. Captain Nair turned to see raj standing there.
Nair: - "How dare u to overrule my orders rajveer?"
Raj: - "Mind ur language Captain. Do I need to remember u every time that I am ur senior now and according to the rules, u should address me as Sir and U should not call me with my name."
Nair: - "What do u mean by this?"
Raj: - "Watch ur tone Captain, I can complain about ur behavior and I have many witness to support me." He said pointing towards cadets.
Nair was about to say something but before he can say something, a voice is heard.
Voice: - "What is going on here?"
They all turned to see BC standing there. All saluted him.
BC: - "At Ease, Major I want to know this from u that what is going on here?"
Raj: - "Sir, Captain Nair is crossing his limits. At first, he called me with my name knowing very well that m his senior now and secondly, he is overruling my orders. I have warned me once before, but it seems that it doesn't cast its effect."
BC: - "Is it right Captain?"
Nair was not able to utter a word and BC understands everything.
BC: - "I want u to apologize from Major right now and this is my last warning to u Captain. I want full discipline in my academy and even teachers are not allowed to break the rules; one more time I found u misbehaving with ur seniors, I will suspend u for a week."
Nair was shocked to hear this and says sorry to BC.
BC: - "Say Sorry to Major and not to me Captain."
Nair moved in front of Raj and say sorry.
Raj: - "its ok Captain but be careful in the future."
BC: -"Good Captain. Major, I want u to continue with the class."
Raj: - "Yes Sir."
Hearing this, BC left and Nair also left the ground in frustration. Shalini and Naina were feeling very happy to see Nair in such a humiliating condition. Cadets were also happy to see all this.
Raj: - "So Cadets, what was ur drill actually?"
Pooja: - "Wo to pata nahin sir, par Captain Nair to bas humara signal down karne ke liye humhe bhagate hi rehte hain."
Raj laughed a bit and then answers: - "Wo aapka signal down karne ke liye nahin bhagate Cadte Pooja, wo aapko is liye bhagate kyunki wo chahte hain ki aapka stamina badh jaye. This stamina will help u in the real war conditions. Samjhi aap."
Pooja nodded her head and said: - "Sir, humhe pehle kabhi kisi ne aise signal catch karvane ki koshish hi nahin ki, to hum kya karte."
Yudi: - "Yes one, no one ever tries to explain us the real objective behind these drills."
Raj: - "Don't worry Cadets, I am here now. Koi bhi shak ho, problem ho yan kuch samajh na aaye, then free feel to come to me at any time. Aap sab ke liye me hoon na." He said with a smile and then the bell rang, he dismiss all the cadets and they left the ground, naina also left with them. Shalini came forward and hug raj.
Shalini: - "Raj, I am proud of u yaar, I just enjoyed it. Tumne to Nair ko kahiin ka nahin chodha, just awesome. Please mujhe aisa kuch roz dekhna hai."
Raj: - "Shalu, tum na pagal ho bilkul. Chalo ab yahan se."
Raj and shalini left the ground.
The scene now shifted to mess where all the cadets were having their lunch and were discussing about fresher's ball.
Huda: - "Yaar yeh fresher's ki taiyari kab se shor hogi?"
Aalekh: - "Kahe ko, tere ko itni jaldi kahe ko hai?"
Huda: - "Ooye Qaidi samjha kar, ball ki taiyari hogi to classes band ho jayengi aur phir taiyari karte karte is jatt ko jananiyon ke saath aur time milega na."
Sanjana: - "Tujhe ladkiyon ke bare me sochne ke ilava aur koi kaam nahin hai kya?"
Huda: - "Le tu to naraz ho gayi, chal ladkiyon ke bare me bhool jate hain aur tere bare me baat kar lete hain, usse to koi problem nahin hogi na?"
Aalekh: - "Ooye shane, tu Sanjana se door reh wohi tere liye acha hoga, ja ke ani aise dhond koi."
But before Huda can answer Aalekh, raj and shalini enters in the mess and move towards them.
Shalini: - "What is going on Cadets?"
Yudi: - "Nothing Mam, we were just discussing about the fresher's."
Raj: - "What about the fresher's Cadet?"
Ali: - "Sir, hum bas yehi soch rahe the ki fresher's ki taiyari kab shoro hogi."
Shalini: - "aur hum bhi aap sab ko yehi batane aaye hain ki aaj se fresher's ki prep shoro ki ja rahi hai. Aaj se do din tak aapki koi class nahin hogi aur aap sab fresher's ki prep me part lenge."
Yudi: - "Wow."
Raj: - "So Cadets, be ready. Aap sab logon ko groups me devide kiya jayega aur is prep ke in-charge hum dono hai."
Pooja: - "Phir to humhe signal araam se mil jayega sir kyunki aap humhe wohi kaam denge jinhe karte waqt hamare handset me koi virus na aaye."
Raj: - "Sure Cadet. Hum koshish karenge ko hamari vajah se aapke handset me koi virus na aaye. Chaliye ab hum log chalte hain, aap log apna lunch kar lijiye aur humhe 3 baje hall me report karna mat bholiyega."
Saying this, raj and shalini left from there. All the cadets were happy about the news.
Pooja: - "Yaar, sir kitne ache hai na, wo na to mere sms samajh lete hain balki mujhe reply bhi same text me karte hain."
Yudi: - "Yes Pooja, he is just awesome."
Ali: - "Tabhi to hum unke jaise banana chahte hain, unke har baat alag hai. Wo yahan hamare teacher hai par har baar wo ek dost ban kar humse batein karte hain aur hamari madad bhi karte hain."
Aalekh: - "Par tum logon me se kisi ne wo nahin dekha jo apun ne dekha, sir jitna marjhi hasne ki koshish kar le par apun ko unki aankhon me ek dard dikhta hai, ek sunapan jaise ki unse koi apna bahut door ho gaya ho. Khud itne dard me hain phir bhi dosaron ko dard me dekha nahin jata unse, wo samajhte hain ki jab insaan akela padh jata hai to usse kaise lagta hai. Issiliye wo sab se alag hain, jo insaan dosaron ke dard ko samajhta hai na wo kabhi galat nahin ho sakta."
Hearing to Aalekh, Sanjana was having tears in her eyes but she didn't let them come out and said: - "Tunhe sahi kaha Aalekh, rajveer sir sab se alag hain."
This comment of Sanjana made everyone shock kyunki Sanjana kabhi kisi teacher ke bare me kuch bolti hi nahin thi.
Huda: - "Tujhe badha pata hai major ke bare me Sanjana."
Sanjana: - "Haan toh tujhe kya taqleef hai."
Huda: - "Mein samajhti tha ki tu baki jananiyon se alag hai par tu bhi un me se hi nikli jo ek major ke piche banwari hui phirti hain."
Sanjna: - "Mind ur language Huda."
Huda: - "Mind vind sab kar lenge''haiii mummyji kya janai hai."
Hearing Huda's comment, everyone shifter their gaze in his direction and found him staring at a women dressed in a sari having a lot of make-up on her face.
Huda: - "Kya janani hai yaar?"
Yudi: - "but who is this bro?"
Huda: - "ki pata yudiye, par chal pata karte hain."
But before Huda can move from his place, he saw her moving towards Raj and Shalini.
Person: - "Hi Major Rajveer."
Raj looked up at her and then standing from his seat, he said: - "Oh'.Hello Dr. Mishra. Aap yahan?"
Ritu: - "Me is academy ki new faculty member hoon."
Raj: - "Oh..Ya, Brig. Chandok ne bataya tha, but sorry mere dimaag se hi nikal gaya."
Ritu: - "No prob major."
Raj: - "Meet Capt. Dr. Shalini Singal and shalini she is'.."
Shalini: - "Dr. Ritu Mishra. Hi Ritu, I am shalini."
Ritu: - "Hi'..shalini, nice meeting u."
They offered her a seat and also ordered lunch for her.
Huda: - "Kya yaar, yeh janani bhi gayi. Yeh bhi us major ki deewaniyon me se ek nikli."
Yudi: - "Really Bro, ur luck is not favoring u."
Huda: - "Luck kahan se kaam karega yudiye'''baki sab ki chood, yeh Sanjana bhi us ke piche pagal hai."
Sanjana: - "Huda''."
Huda: - "Kya huda huda lagayi rakhi hai, vese to tujhe kabhi meri yaad bhi nahin aati. Khud batao yaaro, khud wo major shaadi karke bhethe hai aur baki ladkiyon ko apne piche ghuma raha hai, bhagwan hi jane, shaadi se pehle kitno ko ghumaya hoga isne."
Huda has crossed his limits now, he would have spoken more but a slap on his face shut him. It was Sanjana who has slapped him.
Sanjana: - "Don't u dare to speak a word against Major Rajveer,"
Saying this, Sanjana left the place and major rajveer also excused him and followed Sanjana. Everyone was looking at Huda.
Pooja: - "Ooye Jatt, ladkiyon ki thodhi izzat karni bhi sikh le kyunki sab ki soch teri soch jitni ghiri hui nahin hoti."
Ali: - "Rehne dijiye Pooja, in se to baat karna hi bekar hai."
Saying this, they also left the place.
On the other side, raj was following Sanjana and he found her sitting by lake side. She was sitting by hugging her legs. Her head was on her knees and she was crying badly. Her sobs were audible. Raj moves close to her and place a hand on her shoulder. Sanjana looked up and raj sits beside her. She immediately hugged raj. Raj too hugged her and was soothing her hair.
Raj: - "Shhh Sanju, chup ho ja, aise rote thodhe na hai. Tum janti ho na mujhe tumhari aankhon me aansoo ache nahin lagte."
Sanjana: - "Har baar kyun aisa hota hai, us Huda ko aapke bare me itna kuch bolne ki kya padhi thi. Koi aapke bare me kuch bura nahin sun sakti."
Raj: - "Mein janta hoon Sanju."
Sanjana: - "Me bahut akeli ho ggayi hoon."
Raj: - "Eh Pagal, mere hote hue tu akeli kaise ho gayi, bata zara mujhe. Mein har kadam par tumhare saath hoon Sanju, tum chinta mat karo sab theek ho jayega."
Sanjana looked up and saw tears in raj's eyes. Raj says no to her and she hugged him again. They sit in the same position for some time, until Sanjana was feeling better. After some time, they move towards raj's quarter. Entering his quarter, raj asked Sanjana to get freshens up. She nodded and go inside. Watching her go, raj took up his cell phone, raj called someone.
Raj: - "Hi Champ, How r u?"
Person: - "Hi Bhaiya, m fine. How r u?"
Raj: - "Me bhi theek hoon. Par wo theek nahin hai."
Person: - "Kyun, kya hua bhaiya?"
Raj: - "Bas tum yahan aa jao, phir wo bilkul theek ho jayegi."
Person: - "Ji Bhaiya, me aaj hi aa jata hoon."
Raj: -"Ok'.I will be waiting for u."
Person: - "Ji Bhaiya''.Bye."
Raj: - "Bye Champ."
Raj cut the call and after some time, Sanjana returned after getting freshen up and both of them moved towards the hall. When they entered there, everyone is looking at them, Sanjana moved towards her place and raj took over the charge. He gave them an introduction to all the preparations which they have to do for fresher's and then started dividing the duties. Aalekh and Ali were given the job to help Suriji in the arrangements of food and drinks. Pooja and Yudi were given the job of arranging music as both of them are good in the field of gadgets. Huda, Yamani and rehman are given the job to decorate the hall. Raj was about to leave but Pooja stopped him.
Pooja: - "Sir, par Sanjana."
Raj: - "Cadet Sanjana Singh mere saath bahar ja rahi hain. We will get u everything from market."
Pooja: - "Ok Sir."
Saying this, raj left with Sanjana and said shalini to take over the charge in his absence. After they left, Huda came to them.
Huda: - "Tum logon ko yeh major bahut changa lagta tha na, dekh lo ab Sanjana par line marne ke liye usse apne saath le gaya hai."
Pooja: - "Ooye jatt, tu to chup hi reh, sir Sanjana ko teri vajah se hi le keg aye hain."
Ali: - "Ji Huda Bhai, sir jante hain ki agar Sanjana yahan rehti to aapki vajah se unka man kaam me nahin lagta, issi liye wo unhe bahar le gaye."
Aalekh: - "Apun ko to lagta hai ki Sir samajh gaye ki yeh dono saath me yahan rahe to huda aur 15-20 lapad to kha hi leta."
Huda shot him a look and before he can answer, shalini came there and ordered them to do their work and all resumed their work, but Huda's mind was on Sanjana only.
On the other side, raj and Sanjana reach market.
Sanjana: - "sir, hum shopping kahan se start karenge."
Raj: - "Ice Cream se."
Sanjana: - "Ice Cream." She said in an excited tone.
Raj: - "Haanji Ice Cream se, me jaanta hoon ki tumhari shopping kabhi ice cream ke bina start hi nahin hoti."
Sanjana: - "Aapko ab tak yaad hai?"
Raj: - "Jee Haan, aur isse pehle ki tum aur sawal pucho, me chahta hoon ki tum jaldi se ice cream le lo kyunki humhe shopping khatam kar ke vaapis academy bhi jana hai."
Sanjana nodded and then both of them entered ice-cream parlor. Sanjana got her favorite flavor and ordered raj's favorite for him. They ate their ice cream and then started their shopping. At around 7 pm, they returned to the academy. They entered the hall and raj excused himself. He returned after 5 mins, and said: - "Cadet, mein kisi zaruri kaam se bahar jar aha hoon, tum yeh sab packets yahiin par rakhna, me vaapis aa kar sab dekhta hun." Saying this he turned, but Sanjana stopped him.
Sanjana: - "Thanks...Bhaiya." She added after a pause.
Raj turned to look at her. She was happy and was having tears in her eyes. Raj walked up to her, gave her a side hug and signaled her not to weep, she nodded and raj left from there without saying a word.
When Sanjana turned, she found Aalekh standing there.
Sanjana: - "Wo Aalekh..."
Aalekh: - "Kuch bolne ki zarurat nahin hai, apun yahan sab ki tarah jhala (stupid) nahin hai, apun ne shoro se teri aankhon me sir ke liye izzat aur pyaar dekha hai, wohi pyaar aur izzat jo naina mam ke liye hai. Isliye apun ko kuch samjhane ki zarurat nahin hai."
Sanjana smiled at this and both of them, stated doing their work.
The scene shifted to raj that was standing at bus stand waiting for someone and here, he comes a smart young man with a big smile on his face. He came towards raj and touched his feet.
Person: - "Hi Bhaiya."
Raj: - "Neev, aaj gaya tu." He said and gave him a hug.
Neev: - "Aap bulaye aur me na aaun, aise ho sakta hai kya."
Raj: - "Bilkul nahin, chal baki ki baatein raste me karte hain." Neev nodded. They settled in the jeep aand then Neev asked.
Neev: - "Kya baat hai Bhaiya, bahut khush lag rahe ho?"
Raj: - "Aaj Sanju ne mujhe Bhaiya keh ke bulaya."
Neev: - "That's great Bhaiya, matlab thodhi thodhi line par aa gayi hai."
Raj: - "Haan, aura b tum aa gaye ho to puri aa jayegi."
They both laughed at this and their journey continues. 15 minutes later, they were in the academy. Raj told Neev to remain in his room and he himself left for mess. Entering mess, he called Suriji and said something to them Suriji smiled and then left. Raj took is food and settled with shalini.
Shalini: - "Hey Raj, tum aaj kahan the?"
Raj: - "Me kisi kaam se bahar gaya tha tum batao prep kaisi chal rahi hai?"
Shalini: - "It's going good. Cadets are quite energetic."
Raj smiled and before they can continue, Ritu came there.
Ritu:-"Hey Major, aap sham se kahan the? Aap to jante hain na mein yahan new hoon aur yahan aake mujhe pata chala ki fresher's ball hai, so mein shopping karna chahti thi aura b mein to yahan kisi ko janti hi nahin hoon to please aap mujhe le ke chalenge na."
Raj was feeling uneasy and he looked upon shalini for some help.
Shalini: - "Sure Ritu, Don't worry, mein tumhare saath chalungi na. mene bhi abhi tak shopping nahin ki, so ek se bhale do, kyun?"
Ritu: - "Ya sure." She smiled but she was cursing shalini in her mind because she ruined her plan.
Raj thanked shalini with his eyes and in his mind thought: - "Thank God, naina yahan nahin hai, varna aaj Dr. Ritu ke uppar pata nahin ki skis cheez ki barsaat ho jati." He smiled at his thought.
Ritu: - "Major, aap fresher's par kis ke saath ja rahe hain?"
Before raj could answer, a voice answered Ritu's question.
Voice: - "Mere saath." They turned to see Naina there. Raj murmured "Mar gaye." Under his breath. And then speak up, "ab wo apni wife ke saath hi jayenge na. Kyun Veer?"
Raj: - "Yes"
Ritu: - "Veer..nice name, Major mein bhi aapko veer keh ke hi bulaungi."
Raj looked at naina in shock and it was clear from her eyes that in this moment, she can kill ritu.
Naina: - "Don't u dare do that." Ritu looked upon Naina in shock and then, she continues, "Veer, kehne ka haq is duniya me sirf mujhe hai. Yeh haq to hamare parents ko bhi nahin hai phir aap to ek 3rd person hai."
Raj stand up from his position and came near naina: - "Nia, calm down yaar. Dr. aisa bilkul nahin karenge. Tum jao aur apne liye dinner le aao." Raj said this but then he realized his mistake. But before he can stop her, naina had already left. She has a mischievous smile on her face and there was a spark in her eyes from which raj understood that this is the worst day for Ritu now and he can do nothing to save her, but then he gave it a try.
Raj: - "Dr. I am sorry on Nia's behavior. Actually, she is very possessive."
Ritu: - "It's Ok Major."
Raj: - "Vese Shalini, bahar mausam kitna acha hai, tum Dr. Mishra ko le ke walkpe chalo, mein baad me nia ko le ke aata hoon." He said with pleading eyes and shalini understood that raj was saying this because of naina.
Shalini: - "Ya, Sure. Chalo Ritu."
Shalini and Ritu were about to leave but destiny was holding something different for Ritu today. Naina came there and watching them go, she said: - "Aap log kahan ja rahe ho?"
Raj: - "Daammm. Nia 2 min aur late nahin aa sakti thi kya?"
Naina was standing there with a plate full of eatables and a cup of coffee. As raj saw her proceeding towards them, He signaled shalini to move back and shalini followed his instructions and both of them move back. Sanjana was watching all this and she understood that what is going to happen now. She signaled Aalekh to look in the same direction. Aalekh also looked there.
Sanjana whispered: - "Dr. Ritu ab is academy me aane ke liye bahut pachtayegi."
Aalekh looked upon her in surprise and then again stared at Naina and there he saw. Naina acted as her foot slipped and then with a trash, all the food and coffee was on Ritu. Sanjana, Shalini and raj were struggling with themselves so that they can't laugh and all the cadets were staring at Ritu. Ritu was unable to react.
