She is naive and innocent. Knows least about the world. She only thinks through her way which tells us everyone is lovely.
She have been in hunger of love for so long, so if anyone is nice to her she melts easily. You have seen how she gives in to maan... Who kinda behaves the roughest then why not her step mom :)

He really dosnt know anything. From part 20 we are gathering he thinks, if she is pregnant, it's obviously going to be his child. No husband will think there wofe carrying someone's child!
So that's why he is confused. He dies not love her but do care! Guilt and that's what making him confused.
If geet is pregnant, then of course it's going to be his, so at the end of the day it's his child, and it's his duty to look after both..
So that's why he is doing all this.
