Chapter XXVIII
It was late and abhay dropped the girls to the hostel and went to his mansion with laksh and aleena. He was now more satisfied that Lia was always with his piya to keep her safe from the dangers surrounding her. He could now have a peaceful night alone in the darkness while piya slept cozily yet safely.
Laksh was happy that things were now getting into place and none had and suspect that why they were here? It was really easy but being undercover for long wouldn't be so easy. Lia would surely be doing her work with piya on knowing her likes, dislikes, past, present and future. Both of the twins had a great opportunity to prove themselves in the supernatural world by doing this for the princess. Lia was pro at getting truths out without getting caught but piya wasn't so straight.
Laksh met Chand and Haseena who were glad to see him and then offered him with one of the rooms and left him for his further investigations on the other super naturals lurking in dehradun. He was here for a motive and he had to focus to fulfill it but that curly brown haired feisty girl was driving him insane by coming in his thoughts again and again. He could hear her giggles till now and he remembered the color of her face that changed suddenly when he met her eyes. What was so different about her?
Laksh: what is happening to you man? You are not at the right path'.. She is not your types'. She is so childish'. You can't love a kid'. This is not love'. Just attraction'. Stay focused now'.
Laksh brushed those thoughts away and went to his bed and switched off the lights to have some sleep but slumber was far away as his mind was already occupied by someone who was also feeling the same way somewhere else.
Things were so different for misha. The moon looked to be bigger and brighter, the wind seemed to be lovelier when it touched her milky white face brushing her brown curly locks. She loved standing and gazing it for long.
Misha thought: ye kya ho raha hai mujhe? Main baaki bimbos' ki tarah kyon behave kar rahi hoon? What is all this? Just go and sleep misha'. It's really late'. Kal Uss laksh ki toh khair nahi'. Woh hota hai Kaun meri neend leine waala' ulloo ka pathaa'
Misha also went and slipped into her warm blanket beside panchi who was already fast asleep but was it so easy to keep her mind away from the new guy who took away her peace of mind. Why was she feeling so feminine when she thought about him'? So girly?
Girls' hostel, mount college
Piya was on cloud nine after abhay's confession in front of everyone. She was still in dreams filled of her abhay who made her feel like the most special girl of the universe.
Lia was really happy to see her cute little princess drowning in her dreamland of her dark prince happily forgetting all her sorrows.
All the things had no value for piya in front of her angel who saved her every time she needed him. Nothing was truer; nothing was more special to her other than him. Her all thoughts were woven like a tight sweater around him. What else she wanted if she had the most handsome yet loving guy of the universe who was Eveready to put his world beneath her feet.
Every time she thought about him, his face came floating in her mind, his rarest smile that sparked her heart, stopped it for long, sent chills down her spine. His chiseled out features, marble like pale yet perfect skin, his engrossing voice and most importantly his hypnotic eyes always casted a spell over her. He was her very own Mr. hypnotist.
Lia zapped her out of the dreamland.
Lia: piya'. Mujhe lagta hai tumhe aur abhay ko ek saath hi rahne dena chahiye tha'. Tum mere saath ho kar bhi nahi ho'.
P: hmmm'. Kuch kaha tumne'..
L: haan'. Yahi ki mai bore ho rahi hoon'.
P: so then what should we do'?
L: we can talk but no Abhay talks please'..
P (blushed): yeah'. I promise I won't'..
L: okay' so tell me'. Where are you from'. about your parents? Where do they live?
P: fine'. See, I am an orphan'. I lost my mother when I was 8 (piya's voice was weak and soft as she grew sad thinking about her mother)'.. My father had abandoned us before my mother's death due to cancer and then never came back after her death also'. So my mom left me with Aunt Martha who was a widow and lived in Indore where I and mom used to live'.
L: I am really sorry piya'. I shouldn't have asked'. I mean you lost your parents at a very tender age' was Aunt Martha a good care taker to you'?
P: a lot'. Aunt Martha is really a good lady and she loves me a lot'. She had already adopted Jeh as she had no children of herself before my mom handed me to her and all her property to her'. Aunt Martha raised both me and Jeh like her own children'. And fulfilled all our whims and wishes'. Jeh was like my brother'.. He spoilt me a lot and always saved my back from auntie's scolding's'. we both grown up together'. Same class'. Same batch'. Same grade though he was a year elder then me'. And then finally, I got a scholarship to mount college'.. Jeh got it too'.. Then I came here and I found my new friends'. And a new hope to live and cherish'.
L; why hasn't Jeh come here with you' he also got a scholarship with you so where is he?
p: yeah actually he would come soon... he had some paper work left there in indore so he would join me later...
l; he seems to be good...
p; and you seem to show lot of interst in him... tum chaho toh tumhe usse milwa doo... he is smart... intelligent, handsome, just like a gentle man should be...
Liana found pia to be a really tough girl with a beautiful heart and strong will. She was nothing less to an angel who had a hard childhood compared to other normal children but everyone gets his or her fair share of happiness so she was getting it now. It was really nice talking to her'. Knowing more'. Knowing deeper'.
But one thing irked lia that piya didn't talk much about how she felt for her father? Whether he is alive or not?
L: piya'. If u don't mind then can I ask about your father'.? I mean'. Did you ever try to find him? Where is he now? Do you hate him?
P (it made piya feel glumly inside thinking about his father): lia'. I just don't hate him'. But I don't particulary like him too'. I just feel sad for him that he left my mother who loved him so much'. I never tried to find him but destiny brought us together in a single frame where I cant run away from or he could do the same'. I know that he is alive, he is near abd doesn't know about my existence and I don't want him to know about me'.
L: why? He has a daughter'. He must know'.
P: no' (tried to sound straight) I like to be indepent'. I was born always like this and I don't want to love this way of my life for anyone'. He has a big family of his own now with an untainted respect in the society' a wife'. Daughters with her other wife' I don't want to become any problem for them'. Can we not talk about them' it really hurts deep down'.
L: okay'. So how do you like things, then? Simple n straight or twisted n complicated'.
P: things should not be fake'. Whether may it be simple and straight or twisted and complicated' it makes me feel non desirable, incapable'. When someone tells that he or she is telling lies or hiding truths to protect anyone'. I just like things straight to face' abhay did it for a couple of times and I forgave them' but not anymore' my existence was on the basis of a lie and at last it ruined it at all' but I don't want to reapeat the same thing again' I have the capability of facing anything then why to fear of loosing what I have?...
P: ek minute'. Tum mujhse itne question kyon puch rahi ho? Kind of interrogation'. Koi spy ho kya (piya noticed the sudden change in lia's face like being cought)'. Just kidding'. Lets talk about you know'..
L: okay then shoot now'. (calmly)
P: come on dumbo'. Apne baare mein batao'
L: see'. Main aur laksh twins hain' I am elder than him' we lived in shimla with our family'.
P: what about your parents? Where are they now?
L: parents'.. actually they never stayed with us'. They are alive but could never be with us' for different reasons'. Please can we sleep now? I am tired after travelling' its late na'.
P: hmmm'.
Piya didn't dig anything more about lia seeing the sad expression she earned after thinking about her parents but something was there about ia that was surely not normal which piya could easily feel'.
Next morning
Piya came out of her late slumber when she received about 10 calls and 15 messages from misha. She immediately called her back.
Piya: hello mish… kya hua tumhe…. Itni dher saari missed calls aur messages kyon kiye…
Misha: shut u dumbo…. Ek toh itni der se phone nahi utha rahi aur abb bhashan dene lagi ho…. Mujhe pata hai…. Ki agar meri jagah Uss kharoos ka phone aata toh tum jaroor utha thi…. Achcha mujhe raat bhar neend nahi aayi hai…. Aur abb aa rahi hai… so could you please submit my assignment …. Main thodi der se aaongi….
Piya: okay…. Par tum raat bhar phir kar kya rahi thi…. Ladoo bana rahi thi kya….
Misha: no…. mujhe Kisi ko majaa chakhana hai…. Jaldi college pahuncho…. Phir se abhay ke dreams mein mat kho jaana….
Misha cut the phone and piya blushed on misha's last statement…. She got up from the bed and saw Lia already standing in front of the mirror all ready in her funky white top and matching black jeans….
Lia: good morning princess…. Abhay tumhara intezaar kar raha hai…. He called to tell that he would come to pick you so get ready….
Piya: okay…. Just few moments…
Piya got ready in just few minutes to see abhay soon. She dressed in a beautiful knee-length gown with large purple floral designs on the white chiffon background and put some light lip gloss and left her curls to fall back over her milky white skin to give her an angelic look.
She walked out of her hostel and saw abhay leaning over his black car flaunting his infectious smirk and piercing his hypnotic deep blue eyes deep in piya's heart to have and everlasting imprint.
Abhay was casted under the spell of piya's beauty. How could she look so innocent yet tempting at the same time? She was no less to an angel in his life….
Abhay gentlemanly opened the door for piya and she sat down after returning a smile. Abhay also came and started driving.
Abhay: you look beautiful piya…. Like an angel…
Piya blushed scarlet with blood rushing all to her cheeks. Abhay was trying hard to control himself and remain calm.
Abhay calmly: I love this color of your cheeks…. Did you sleep peacefully..?
Piya: a lot….. and your cousin is so friendly…. I like her….
Abhay: I know…. Did she eat your brain with her rubbish fashion talking's…
Piya: no…. instead we talked a lot about each other…. She didn't eat my head…. She is really sweet…
Soon they reached the college talking about other things…. Both of them walked together through the college corridors with hands in hands. lots of people were still staring them but nothing did make them uncomfortable. They entered in the classroom and sat. piya sat with Lia who was already sitting and abhay with laksh and Kabir.
Lia: piya…. Misha kahan hai…
Piya: who next class mein ayegi…? So rahi hai….
Lia: abhi…. Okay….
Ms. Dasgupta entered the classroom.
Mrs. Dasgupta: students…. Since there are some exchange students that have joined us so please let them feel comfortable and help them…. The already given assignments will be compensated for them but they are asked to complete and submit further assignments on time with no excuses…. Now everyone submit your assignments…
Everyone submitted and piya submitted misha's too.
Ms. D: piya, where is misha?
Piya: madam she is having headache so she come in the next lecture….
Ms. D: ok…. Just inform her about next assignment….
Piya: okay…

Misha reached soon to the college with a super exciting plan in her mind. She knew that t was interested in every new boy who was handsome and laksh was her next target as Abhay was already taken by piya. This time misha would fulfill her enemy's wish for her own selfish reasons…. She loved to push everyone's nerves when it comes to fun and this is what she was going to do.
She wrote on two chits: I am your biggest admirer…. Please meet me in caf de plaza at 7pm…..
Firstly she went to girls' locker room and placed one chit in t's locker and the other one in laksh's locker leaving no clues for anyone to guess who did it….
sorry for the late updates... was busy in the college and other assignments and tests...
