Part I
Raichand mansion, dehradun
After completing the assignment, piya took it to give it a final reading before submitting it and then aleena dropped her to the hostel as she had fought with abhay.
Aleena went back to her mansion and had a serious talk with abhay about piya.
Abhay: do you know aleena that piya is immune to Alex's powers too…. I mean he used his powers over her while kissing her hand and you saw the result….
Aleena: this is awesome bhai…. I mean piya is really kind of special…. But one thing….
Abhay: what?
Aleena: she is only immune to you're and Alex's power only…. I mean I can see her in my visions that mean she is not immune to everyone's powers…..
Abhay: hmmm….
Aleena: bhai… what if she is immune to everyone's evil powers…. Then…..
Abhay: tab toh bas majaa aajayega…… par mere powers toh evil nahi they….
Aleena: I know…. I was just guessing…… but bhai there's a problem….. I don't know why but I am not able to track mom and dad's decisions now….. Not even any of the superiors…. No one…..
Abhay: what…..? Now what is this new problem…? This has never happened before….
Aleena: I am feeling like some kind of shield is over them…. Whenever I try to penetrate then I feel like a strong jolt of current or something…..
Abhay: may be Alex has used some magic to preserve some secret….
Aleena: magic…. Yeah magic can only do this…. But what kind of secret….
Abhay: I know…. They must be discussing about piya…. She is immune nah….. Understand dumbo….. Okay now I have to go…..
Aleena: where? Abhi…. Iss samay…..?
Abhay: hunting stupid….
Aleena: kiski….. Piya ki smile ki….. Mujhe sab pataa hai….
Abhay: I know Sherlock Holmes…..
Then abhay went to piya's hostel finding her sleep cozily in her warm bed with a beautiful smile. Aleena also went for hunting while Chand and Haseena came back from the dark chamber, superiors head quarters…..
College boys Football match, Mount College, dehradun
Annual boy's football match was going to be held. Last year abhay did not participate but this time piya was there and she challenged abhay to play so abhay had to play for her. He also wanted to show piya what he could do. Though there was almost nothing that abhay couldn't do. But piya wanted him to win fairly so he would fairly win without using his powers.
Abhay and Kabir were in opposite teams and both were the captions of their teams. Abhay's team was black knight riders and they were dressed in black and golden. Kabir was from blue daredevils and was dressed in blue and white.
Everyone had taken their seats and was eagerly waiting for the match to start. Misha was supporting blue daredevils and aleena was supporting black knight riders. Nobody knew whom piya supported and where piya was since morning. Players were also ready to go to the ground but abhay was nowhere to be seen since the team meeting.
Piya had gone as usual to the city church to pray for everyone's sake. She used to find peace there and since she was raised in catholic surroundings due to Aunt Martha so she was linked to church from early childhood.
At last after returning from church, piya went to the college to watch abhay's football match. She was dressed in black jeans and red half sleeve top with her mother's pendant encircling her neck gracefully.
As she was passing through the empty corridors of the college, she was humming her favorite tune by Debussy but suddenly a hand pulled her and as she hit that perfectly toned masculine figure, her lips stopped and curled into a beautiful rose and she stood there blinking her doe eyes continuously at that Greek god who smartly returned a smirk with elegance. Abhay was waiting for piya eagerly to see his sunshine that he left sleeping as the dawn broke. Piya was standing there like a statue admiring his perfect features with a sheepish grin. Abhay clicked his fingers before piya's face to stop her research over him as it was her favorite pastime.
Abhay: tum mujhe iss tarah se ghoorti ho toh darr lagta hai…..
Piya: yippee…… I won……. Main jeet gayi……. Tumne pehle baat ki…… I know my charms work everywhere….. Jo pehle baat karega who harega…….. Yahi Tay hua tha….. Tum haar Gaye……..
Abhay didn't reply her back as he was busy in listening his favorite music….. Piya's laughter. It was like lots of wind chimes were clattering and producing the most beautiful sound of this world.
Piya: kya hua abhay……. kahan kho Gaye…….
Abhay: piya tum haste hue kitni pyaari lagti ho….. I just love you…. Main toh tumhare liye haarne ko bhi taiyaar hoon…..
Piya: haan-haan theek hai mister Romeo….. Bas match mat harna…. And I also love you….
Piya went to join aleena giving Abhay a peck on his cheek leaving him smiling at her purity of heart. Now no one could stop abhay from winning this game as he had to win it for his love of life…. His piya…..
Abhay had already drunk sufficient animal blood to keep him alive and kicking. He disgusted blood when he was human, he used to run away from it when he was small but now what a day had come that it became his necessity to kill and have bloodshed. He survived on blood now. Now he was ready and all set for the upcoming match. Before entering the ground, he asked all his players to play well and have a team spirit and sportsmanship in them. He asked all to play as one though he was never a team player and could only play alone and win. He was alone sufficient for that opponent team who was surrounding their captain Kabir and discussing their tricks and plans. Kabir asked half of his players to cover abhay from each side and do man-to-man marking to win unaware of that abhay was listening everything easily without using his powers so he decided to guard the goalpost at the last minute.
Both the teams entered the ground after principal's announcement and the performance presented by the cheerleaders. Teams took their positions on the ground and soon the annual football match started. The winning team would go for a state-level football match and would be awarded too.
Abhay was on the goal post defending it as he knew that if he would run here and there, maybe he would lose his control and show himself. Though there were no chances that he would lose control but he couldn't risk his identity and moreover, defending the goal post was really easy for him. His senses and quick reflexes added to his advantage though he didn't use his mindreading skills to have a fair play. His dead heart used to get flushed with lots of happiness whenever he heard piya's laughter and cheers for his teams. He stole glances from time to time to see his beloved during the game. Abhay didn't let any of the team player of the opponent team to make any goal and adding to his side, he synchronized with his team members and the other players of his team made goals after goals. The game turned from thrilling to boring so adding spice to it, abhay let the opponent team to match their score to play fairly and give them equal chance to win too. First half was complete and both the teams were equal at 9 goals. All the team members went to the locker room to freshen up and get ready for next half, the final one.
Abhay knew that piya would come to meet him so he quickly hid behind the pillar and when she came; he pulled her towards him and took him near the principal room where nobody was seen. Abhay and piya were never satisfied of each other like drugs one savoring other's thirst as much as it can do. abhay inhaled the fruity-flowery scent of the doll giggling in his strong arms waiting for him to answer her.
Piya: why didn't you let anyone else defend the goalpost…? I mean you could run and goal for your team…. You are quite fast….
Abhay: don't you like me as the centre of attraction…. I mean I like the adrenaline rush when I defend the goal…..
Piya: so you are an adrenaline junkie…..
Abhay: no…. I am a bit of….. you know what….. (turning naughty by giving his crooked naughty grin)
Piya: like I don't know….. you need to go back now….. match is gonna start in minutes….. come on…. I don't wanna be late…. (as piya started to move through the corridor)
Abhay caught her hand and pulled her banging gently towards his masculine figure.
Abhay: not so soon….. first I want to have my good luck kiss….
Piya with her own plan: okay but you have close your eyes for it….
Abhay: as you wish….
Piya slowly tip-toed near his face while abhay closed his eyes and she ran away giving him a sweet peck at his cheek.
Abhay opened his eyes listening piya's laughter while she was running: you will pay for this madam…..
Piya: we will see…..
After piya went quite far from where abhay was still there in the corridor, abhay caught a familiar scent…. Like someone was near…. Someone close and near….. from past few days, an eerie feeling of being watched was hovering over abhay's mind and now this was getting much on toll. He tried to use his powers to read the thoughts of the nearest radii and he could feel a kind of barrier around, some kind of supernatural wall…. Strange…
He brushed the strange feeling aside focusing over the match and reached the ground where some trustees had arrived. Both of the teams were called to meet them before starting the next half.
Principal acknowledged Mr. sushil gupta, Mr. raghav mehra, Mr. Rajeev rathore etc… Kabir and abhay had a handshake with all the trustees being the captains of their teams. As abhay had a handshake with Mr. mehra, he was shocked to read his thoughts, he gently jerked off his hand and went away.
