Part 59

After few seconds, she responds to his kiss and closes her eyes to cherish the moment. Both are lost in the kiss.

After a while, maan releases geet from his hold. He turns on the lights inside the car and looks at geet's face. she is still in trance and her eyes are closed. He smiles and kisses her eyes. This brings her back to this world. geet opens her eyes and looks at maan.

Maan also looks into her eyes. Geet rewinds what happened just now and she blushes. Maan notices this and he smiles. She feels too shy to face maan's gaze. She turns her gaze away from maan.

Maan turns her face towards him and makes her to look into his eyes. Geet lowers down her gaze.

M: geet! look into my eyes

At this moment Geet doesn't have the guts to meet his eyes. She is having butterflies in her stomach. Maan is enjoying her condition.

M: kya hua geet? tum sharam horahi ho kya?

Geet didn't know what to do. She keeps on looking down. Maan touches her chin and lifts her head up and makes her to look into his eyes.

M: geet! tum nazrein kyun chupa rahi ho?

Geet couldn't face his gaze. She hugs him and hides her face in his chest. Maan smiles, he hugs and starts to caress her head assuringly

M: ab bolo geet! why did you cry?

geet didn't know what to tell him.

M: geet! you told me na "Geet smiles when maan is happy. Geet cries when maan is sad. Apart from Maan, there can not be any reasons for geet's smiles and tears".

G: hmmm

M: now let me tell you the truth...maan is happy when geet smiles. Maan is sad when geet cries. Apart from geet, there can not be any reasons for maan's happiness and sadness. Samji tum?

G: hmmm

Tears roll down her cheeks in happiness

(ye maan bhi na! Senti dialogues bol bolkar geet ko phir se rula diya. Poor geet.)

M: ab bolo geet. Kya hua? Why did you cry?

Geet starts to talk in a feeble voice...

G: maan! I feel like i have been alienated from my family.

Maan is shocked by her words. geet continues...

G: All of a sudden i feel like, ajay bhaiya, anju bhabhi,vicky and my puppy have become strangers to me

M: geet! tum yesa kyun soch rahi ho?

G: i don't know maan. But i don't like this feeling

She starts to cry more and maan's shirt is getting wet by her tears. maan tries to comfort her

M: geet! did your brothers say anything bad?

G: nahi

M: phir kya hua?

Geet starts to tell maan the entire drama that happened in her maika, as if a school kid is narrating to its mom whatever happened in the school that day

G: wo kya hena maan...i was waiting for you in the drawing room na...

After listening to geet, Maan is relieved that there is nothing serious. He smiles at her childishness and innocence. Maan has seen the lovely,bubbly,happy, caring and matured geet. but this childish geet is new to him.

M: (st) geet! you are such an innocent kid. i love you my premature baby.

But from the way geet told him everything, maan could understand how much she loves her family. Maan realises that, though she likes to be with him, somewhere in the corner of her mind geet is missing her maika which she herself didn't realise.

maan knows her for 2 years. But he didn't know for how long geet knows him. he still does not know the reason why geet came into his life. but his heart tells him that geet is bearing all these things for his sake. He thinks that Geet needs some time to adapt to her new life.

M: (st) geet! tum mere liye sab kuch chodkar aagayi ho. i will never let you down geet

Geet continues to talk...

G: maan! i am happy to see that my family members are happy as always even in my absence. But my heart is refusing to digest the fact that i am not one among them anymore.

Maan's heart is aching for her.

G: i know maan! they are not ignoring me. they are still loving me as much as they used to. But i don't know why i feel like i have been alienated by them...

M: don't worry geet. sometimes it happens. sab kuch teek hojayga.

Geet realises that she has spoiled maan's mood with her non-stop rona dhona. She comes out of his embrace and looks at his face. maan is looking disturbed.

G: (st) hey babaji! Why i am behaving like this? i have made him so sad. Geet! tum bhi na? tum sach much pagal ho

Maan is staring at her silently. Geet tries to cheer up him

G: maan! why did you kiss me?

At this situation, Maan didn't expect this question from her. He is shocked.

M: kya?

G: boliyena! Why did you kiss me?

M: you were crying na

G: tho? Will you give me an AK whenever i cry?

M: yesa nahi hai geet

G: phir kaise?

M: i just wanted to comfort you

G: if someone is crying you have to wipe out their tears. should not kiss them. Don' t you know this simple thing too?

M: geet! are you kidding me?

G: no. i am serious. Ab kan kholkar sunlejiye...AKs are not permissible before shaadi. Here after don't dare to give me an AK. Samje hai aap?

M: acha! what if i refuse to obey your order? Waise bhi...hamare shaadi pehle hi ho chuke hai. samji tum?

G: naughty maan! for the sake of AKs, don't lie that we are already married.

M: i am telling the truth geet

G: with out my knowledge when did you marry me? in your dream?

Maan rolls his eyes

M: geet! you only told na you are my wife

G: haan! Now also i am telling the same thing. I am your wife. But we are yet to get married

M: geet! trust me. really i married you a year ago

G: acha! This is the same lie that i told you in the mandap 7 days ago. But instead of 2 years you are saying it as 1 year. Not a big issue

M: (st) ye geet bhi na? she is not giving me a chance to explain that i filled her maang a years ago in the jungle

G: aap yesa kya soch rahe hai?

M: chup

G:...

M: geet! now listen to me carefully

G: ji

Maan starts to tell her how he filled her maang with his blood a year ago...

M: ek sal pehle, ek jungle me...

Geet interfers

G: kya "ek sal pehle, ek jungle me"? are you going to tell any horror story at this time?

M: chup

G: hmmm

M: ek sal pehle, ek jungle me...

G: maan! really i am scared. You have stopped the car at a place where no one is around. It is very dark here. On the top of all these, you are telling me a horror story. Please maan! don't do this to me

Maan is annoyed

M: maine kaha thana "chup"

G: i am scared. How can i be "chup"?

M: geet! chup hojao. Warna...

G: warna kya?

Maan pulls her and gives her an AK to shut her mouth. She is again lost. After few seconds he releases her. geet comes out of the trance and looks at him. maan smirks and starts to tell the story

M: ek sal pehle, ek jungle me...

G: ek minute

M: ab kya hua?

G: i told you na not to give me AK before shaadi. Why did you repeat it?

M: oh my premature baby! That is what i am trying to explain to you. i have already married you. i have all the rights to give you as much AKs as i want. Samji tum?

Geet's mouth is wide opened

M: tum yesa muu kholkar kya dekh rahi ho?

G: am i a premature baby?

M: do you have any doubt on this?

G: have you already married me?

M: haan! one year ago

G: do you have all the rights to give me as much AKs as you want?

M: absolutely

G: kaise besharam aadmi hai aap!!!!

M: geet! chup hojao. Warna...

Geet knows what will he do next if she doesn't keep quiet. So she goes mute. Maan again starts his love story.

M: ek sal pehle, ek jungle me...

This time geet recalls the incident that happened a year ago when the goons were chasing her in the jungle. She remembers nandhini's death and karan's suicide. Geet becomes sad.

Maan sees the sudden change in geet's face and he understands that she is recalling that incident.

M: (st) i think geet is remembering that incident. She has become so sad all of a sudden. What if she cries again? I don't have the strength to see her tears again. No maan! this is not the right time to tell geet about the khoon baari thing.

Not wanting to make geet emotional once again, maan tries to divert the topic

M: geet! i am your husband

Not wanting to make maan sad, geet comes out of her past thoughts and starts to talk casually

G: ofcourse you are my hubby.

M: iska matalb...we got married already. Hena?

G: no maan! we are yet to get married

M: no geet! we got married already

G: no maan! we are yet to get married

M: no geet...

G: chup bilkul chup

M: ...

G: now listen to me carefully. You are my husband and i am your wife. There is no doubt on that. But we are yet to get married. Samji hai aap?

Maan smiles.

M: teek hai. i will marry you for second time. Be prepared to be my second wife

G: kya? second wife?

M: hmmm

G: dust danav

M: why are you saying the mental hospital's name?

G: Dust danav is not mental hospital's name. It is your name. Samje hai aap?

M: geeettt!!!

G: waise bhi...kya farak padtha hai...both you and mental hospital are the same.

M: geet are you calling me a mental hospital?

G: haan! You want me as your second wife na? then really you are a mobile mental hospital. Wo bhi multi-speciality mobile mental hospital hai

Geet makes a face and turns her gaze away from him. maan smiles and turns her towards him.

M: geet! i was just kidding. My first wife, second wife, third wife, etc., all are you only geet.

Geet smiles. Maan also smiles

As geet is missing her maika, maan thinks to drop her back there and he asks.

M: teek hai geet! ab batao...where do you want to go now? Mansion or your maika?

But, as he was away from geet for almost 3 days, his heart begs him to take her to the mansion and spend some time with her.

M: (st) geet! please say 'mansion'

(OMG!!!! Ye MSK ne sach much mujhe pagal kardege)

Geet thinks for sometime and replies

G: mansion

Maan's heart is super duper happy. But his mind is not

M: dekho geet! you are upset with your siblings. If you come to the mansion with this bad mood, you will not be happy there. So you go to your maika, spend some time with your siblings. then you will feel better. Let me drop you in your maika

Geet starts to think. She also feels that maan is right.

Meanwhile maan's heart is cursing him.

M: (st) hey stupid maan! why are you hell bent on sending geet to her maika? After all these 3 dramatic days, now you need her so desparately. have you forgotten how you were dying to see her in these 3 days?

Geet notices maan's confused face and reads his mind

G: maan!

M: haan geet

G: ab mein bilkul teek hu. let us go to the mansion

M: par geet...

G: maan! i want to spend some time with you. please take me to the mansion

Maan's heart skips a beat. he looks into her eyes. Here starts the mahi mahi moment. Both are lost in each others eyes.

At geet's maika...

After few minutes Ajay, anju and vicky are stopping their laughing session. Now only they are noticing that geet was not there. They didn't know anything about geet's state of mind. They didn't also know that maan had taken geet with him.

Anju: arey! Geet kahan chali gayi?

Vicky: she must be waiting outside for his hubby

Ajay: (calls loudly) geet! andhar ajao

As there was no reply from geet, Vicky goes out and checks

Vicky: AB (ajay bhai)! Geet is not here

Anju: she may have gone to her room

Ajay: geet! bahar ajao

(OMG!!! AB! Now stop this andhar bahar game)

Vicky goes to geet's room and checks.

Vicky: hey guys! Geet is not in her room also

Anju: then where is she?

They all are realising that something is fishy and are starting to search for geet in the entire house. But they couldn't find her anywhere.

Romeo (geet's pet puppy) roams here and there in search of geet.

Vicky calls geet's mobile. but it rings in their drawing room itself.

Ajay takes geet's mobile in his hand

ajay: Where has she gone leaving her mobile here?

Now all are more worried about geet. Vicky sits on the couch holding his head with this hands

Vicky: OMG!!!!! if MB comes and asks about geet, what will we reply?

Anju: geet might have gone with MB. Hena?

Ajay: wo kaise anju? How will geet leave without informing us?

Anju: hey vicky! Now call MB and ask him

Vicky calls Maan's mobile.

In the car...

Maaneet are lost each other's eyes. Maan's mobile rings. Both are coming back to this world.

Maan checks the caller's name. It is vicky on the line. Maan gives the mobile to geet

M: geet! it is for you. vicky is calling

Geet is still angry on Vicky and others. But she didn't know why. She refuses to talk

G: no maan! i don't want to talk to him

M: geet! don't be childish. now attend the call

G: i told you na i don't want to talk to that stupid

M: do they know that you have come with me?

G: no

M: they may be searching for you geet. now attend the call and inform him that you are with me.

Vicky: MB is not picking the call

The call ends. Vicky is worried.

M: call cut hogaya.

Vicky again calls maan's mobile

M: geet! see vicky is calling again. Now talk to him

G: maan! if you keep on insisting me to talk to him, i will get down from the car

Maan rolls his eyes

M: geet! don't be stubborn

G: you know what maan...all the three..no...no...all the four have forgotten me in 7 days. now why are they calling?

M: geet! i know, you are not angry with them. Now talk to them

G: no

Maan takes a deep breath and he himself attends the call and puts it on loud speaker so that geet can hear the convo...

M: hello

Vicky: MB! Is geet with you?

Both Maan and geet could sense the tension in vicky's voice. Geet feels bad. Maan stares at geet and replies to vicky

M: hmmm

Vicky: thank god

Vicky is relieved and he infoms this to ajay and anju

Vicky: AB! Geet is with MB

Maan hears vicky's words and he picks a clue.

M: (st) AB? MB ?...AB matlab Ajay...

Geet also hears vicky's words and she looks at maan.

Vicky is really furious on maan and geet for leaving their home with out informing. He starts to shout on the phone

Vicky: what you both are thinking of yourselves?

Maaneet are shocked by vicky's question

Vicky: MB! can't you people inform us before leaving? Do you know, how much we got worried about geet?

Maan feels bad. Geet feels guilty

Vicky: listen MB! For god sake, now you and your stupid wife please stop this game of hide and seek. I am tired of this. i can't take this anymore

Maan is super duper angry on vicky for calling geet 'stupid'. Geet touches maan's shoulder to calm down him.

Vicky has totally lost it. He didn't realise what he is talking

Vicky: MB! You went missing for 3 days and now your wife. what you people are thinking? Don't we have any work, other than searching for you and your wife?

Maan is losing his patience and geet is very shocked that vicky is talking like this to maan

Vicky: This is my final warning to you both. If any of you go missing again, i won't bother to search for you people. Samje hai aap?

Maan didn't know whether to get angry with this boy or smile at his words. geet keeps on starring at maan with fear in her eyes. She thinks that maan is going to shout at vicky in no time.

anju tries to calm down vicky

Anju: hey vicky! Don't talk like this. Calm down

Vicky: anju! You keep quiet

He again shouts at maaneet on phone

Vicky: ek aur baath hai MB! ...if any of you feel like go missing again, for god sake both of you go together. Then i can rest in peace.

Maan feels like smiling by vicky's words. geet is carefully watching maan's reactions

Suddenly vicky breaks down and cries

Vicky: you know what MB? I don't know who my father is and my mother is no more. I see my parents in you people. If something happens to anyone of you, i can't bear it. Please don't do this to me again.

Saying this vicky cuts the call.

Both maan and geet are speechless.

Vicky's words echoes in maan's ears, "i don't know who my father is and my mother is no more. I see my parents in you people".

Maan couldn't resist himself from asking geet...

M: geet! who is this vicky?

Geet is shocked by maan's question. But she tries to sound normal

G: my younger brother

Geet knows that maan will not ask anymore on that subject. Because she knows that maan will not hurt her by asking about her bitter past.

As expected maan didn't ask her anything about vicky.

Maaneet both are silent for sometime.

After few minutes, Maan's mobile rings again. It is again vicky on the line.

Maan puts the phone on loudspeaker. But vicky didn't know that the maan's mobile is on loud speaker

Vicky: hello geet!

G: haan vicky

Vicky feels bad for talking like that to maan. he tries to cheer up maaneet

Vicky: i am sorry yaar. Maine MB ko kuch jyada bol diya

Maan smiles

G: koi bath nahi hai vicky

Vicky: woh kya hena geet...we didn't know that you have left with MB. Before leaving our home, you must have informed us na?

G: i am sorry vicky

Maan is silently starring at geet.

Vicky: oh chodo yaar. Lekhin...ek pal ke liye hum sab sach much gabra gaye. Dubara yesa math karna yaar

Tears gather in geet's eyes. She looks at maan and holds her tears back.

G: hmmm

Ajay snatches the phone from vicky

Ajay: geet! tum teek tho hena?

G: ji bhaiya

Anju snatches the phone from ajay

Anju: geet! yesa koi karthe hai kya? tum sach much pagal ladki ho?

Maan could understand the bond geet is sharing with them.

G: woh bhabhi...

Vicky again snatches the phone

Vicky: geet! now don't start your rona dhona

Geet smiles. Maan too smiles along with her

Vicky: hey geet! Your boy friend is missing you very much. now talk to him

Vicky refers Geet's puppy, Romeo as her boy friend.

Maan almost gets a heart attack by the word "boy friend"

M: (st) geet's boy friend? Par main tho yahan hu. mere siwa geet ki boy friend kaun ho sakha?

G: vicky! he is not my boy friend anymore. He betrayed me. now he has become my ex-boy friend. I don't want to talk to him

Maan is confused

M: (st) whom geet is talking about? geet is betrayed by someone? Nahi...yesa nahi ho saktha.

Vicky: geet! yesa math kaho yaar. Your boy friend loves you very much. you know what...when we were searching for you, he became so restless. He kept on roaming, sniffing, barking and searching for you through out the house

Now Maan is super duper confused

M: (st) Roaming? Sniffing? Barking? Ye kaise boy friend hai?

Geet melts at vicky's words

G: really?

Vicky: hmmm

G: hey vicky! Now give the phone to my boy friend

M: (st) is geet going to talk to him?

Vicky: (teases) no geet! if you don't want to talk to him, then it fine. Leave it yaar

G: please vicky! Ek bar...put him on line. Please. I am so desparate to hear his voice

Maan's blood pressure is going up

Vicky: teek hai.

Vicky brings the mobile near Romeo's (puppy) mouth

G: hey my sweetheart! How are you dear? I miss you very much

Maan's heart is beating erratically. And he is anxiously waiting to see who is going to talk now...

G: hey kuch bolona my dear

Romeo: (barks) bow-wow...bow-wow...bow...

Hearing the Puppy's bow-wow, Maan is relieved like anything. Maan goes close to geet and kisses her cheek. Geet is shocked. She pushes maan away from her and gestures him to behave himself.

Maan sits back silently.

Geet gives Romeo a tele kiss.

G: oh my romeo! muahaaa!!!!!! dear.

Now maan is feeling jealous of that poor puppy

G: romeo! ab Ajao...now give a kiss to your girlfriend

Saying this, geet takes maan's mobile close to her cheek

Maan is super duper annoyed

M: (st) ye geet bhi na? when i kissed her cheek, she pushed me away. Now she is begging that stupid puppy for a kiss. Ek bar woh puppy mujhe mil gaya tho...

Right now maan feels like killing that puppy through the phone itself

On the other hand the puppy is refusing to give kiss to geet. she keeps on begging it

G: hey romeo! please sweetheart...sirf ek kiss...

Maan hits his head with his hand

M: (st) ye geet sach much pagal hai

Finally the puppy gives geet a tele kiss (i.e. it barks again in low tempo...b..o..w... w..o..w)

Geet is super duper happy. She shows her cheek to maan and tells him

G: dekhiye maan! romeo has kissed my cheek

Geet's cheek is so close to maan's mouth. He couldn't control himself from kissing her cheek. He again kisses her cheeks. Instantly geet moves away from him and gives him a stern look. Maan smirks

G: vicky! I have left my mobile in our home itself

Vicky: do you want me to auction it?

Geet is annoyed. She rolls her eyes.

G: hey your MB ka VB! Now stop this nonsense and bring my mobile to the mansion tomorrow

M: (st) your MB ka VB? matlab...

Vicky: no geet. that old lady will be there. I am not coming there

Maan understands that vicky is referring to dadima as 'old lady'. He stares at his mobile as if he is going to break it into million pieces. Geet is scared

G: hey vicky chup

Vicky: teek hai. chupped

G: please vicky! bring my mobile to the mansion

Vicky: (teases) hey geet! why are you bothering about that stupid mobile? your hubby hena? woh Maan Singh Khurana...if you ask him, he will buy the entire Nokia company for you.

Geet fears that maan is going to shout at Vicky. But Maan is smiling silently.

G: bas karo vicky

Vicky:...

G: aaj kal tum bohat bath kar raha ho. tomorrow bring my mobile to the mansion. do you understand?

Vicky: (sarcastically) anything for you princess

G: thanks and good night

Geet cuts the call and looks at maan.

Without maan's knowledge, some words skips his mouth...

M: geet! tum aur ye vicky dono bilkul meri mom jaise

Geet is shocked by maan's words.
