Part 21:
Geet was shocked beyond words all she could do was stare as Maan leaned in and pecked her cheek and mumbled a sorry while all her friends started hooting and clapping..
she was sure she was all red by now...and so was Maan...soon the shock wore off and irritation took over as she shot her friends a glare and looked at Maan with burning eyes
but all Maan did was smirk which irritated her more...she just sighed and put her head back and closed her eyes!
Maan smirked as he saw Geet's anger...she did look cute when she was angry...his phone rang again bringing him out of hid thoughts he picked it up;
M-Hey..Ahaan..Nahi I havent reached yet will do when I reach...yes ofcourse..I miss you too..Bye take care!
Maan turned around to smirk at Geet but saw that she was glaring at him again!He didnt get her..why was she so angry with him?He tried to talk to her:
M-Geet woh...
G-Shut up Maan...i dont want to know about anything..be happy where ever you are!
Geet was annoyed to no extent..she just wanted to get out of this van...she couldnt believe it that Maan kept on lying couldnt he just say he was with family?
No he had to say he was with friends...was that all she and Riya meant to him?And who was this person that kept on calling Maan..who was so worried about Maan...
and who was the person whom Maan spoke with such sweet-ness?
Frustrated with herself and her thoughts she went to sleep!
Shimla:Hotel:
They all went to their respective rooms...they were all dead tired...the journey had made them all sleepy..But Arnav decided otherwise..he was hungry and decided
to go and get some food..he was walking towards the hotel door when he heard someone call him and he turned around to find Maan walking towards him...
M-Hey man where you going?
Arnav smirked as a evil plan entered his mind
A-Im going to by some food maybe chinese its Geet's faviroute and she must be so hungry and if i dont get going she'll get all cranky
M-Yeah she does that...cant control hunger...
Arnav smiled as he thought:He still loves her!
A-How do you know that?
He saw Maan look shocked and then heard Maan stutter as he said:'Woh umm...umm..dont all women get cranky when their hungry?'
Arnav laughed at Maan's helplessness and said:'True'
And turned to leave when he heard Maan call him again:'Arnav would you mind if I come with you?
A-Ofcourse not...come on join me...
Geet was very irriated as she unpacked..while unpacking she realized she hadnt seen Riya since they had come to the hotel...she looked around her room but didnt find her...
she then decided to go check in Maan's room and as she knew...she saw Riya sitting there playing with Maan's phone...
G-Riya what are you doing?
R-Playing games on daddy's phone...
G-Riya come here...you need to take a bath and get some rest...
R-But mamma i want to stay in daddy's room...pleaseee...
G-Baby...
R-Please please please please pleaseee maammmaaa!
G-Theek Hai i'll get your clothes till then you get in the bath k?
R-Love you mamma...
Geet went to her room and took Riya's clothes out and headed back to Maan's room when she entered the room she heard the shower running and was heading towards
the room when Maan's cell rang..she went over and saw 'UNKNOWN NUMBER'...she wondered who it could be...she decided to pick it up and check but before she could
speak a franctic worried female voice started speaking:Maan where are you?I've been so worried...I've called like a 1000 times..are you okay?Have you reached?When are you
coming back?Im so worried...Maan?Maan?
Geet cut the call..so this was the lady who had been calling Maan from so long...Geet felt anger claw her heart...she felt hurt and betrayed..but not understanding her
emotions she rushed to the bathroom...
Maan walked in silence for several minutes before asking:'How long have you and Geet known each other?'
A-3 years
M-Thats not so long...
A-But it feels like it...
M-Where did you meet?
A-Mumbai...my office
M-Office?Geet came for a job?
A-Yes...and thats the day I met Geet Handa for the first time...and it was that moment I knew what a strong woman she was...she was full of energy..having the
power to make everyone smile and admire her...
Maan felt a sense of sadness spread over him..this was his Geet..Arnav was talking about...He didnt feel jealous anymore but he felt he had lost something that had
once been his...In all this he missed what Arnav said...
A-...she was a lady I came to admire...
M-Uh-huh
A-Maan do you still love her?
The question took Maan offguard but what shocked him most was the sincere curoisty on Arnav's face and at the moment he didnt know what compelled him as he said:'Yes'
But the Yes was drowned out by the sudden impact of the rain that hit both of them...there was water pouring everywhere...Arnav looked as shokced as he felt...
M-ARNAV WE SHOULD GET BACK...I THINK THERE'S GOING TO BE A STORM...
A-MAAN I THINK THE STROM HAS STARTED...
But the rain was too heavy for them to find their way and they got lost and ended up near a small hut...they both entered it to avoid getting more drenched they were...
Both of them collapsed on the floor of the hut being tired from the long run in the rain!
He looked up at Arnav as he saw him trying to call someone..but there seemed to be no network...Maan sighed and closed his eyes and an image of Geet and Riya came
before his eyes as he fell into a deep slumber!
