Part 18:
Maan saw Geet hugging that guy and something like fury erupted inside him...what the hell?Everytime he thought Geet was right something or rather someone would come up..
thats why he didnt like Geet being close to her guy friends because of all this confusion but no Geet having that high ego never listened to Maan and after the whole Yash fiasco
Maan had a lot of trouble trusting Geet...
**Flashback**
Maan was headed towards his meeting at the Rister Hotel in Mumbai when his gaze fell on 2 people and he instantly recognized them...yes it was none other than Geet and Yash..
they were walking wih Yash's arms around her and Geet leaning in to him...he didnt know what they were doing but all he knew is if Geet didnt have anything to do with
Yash why were they still together and after that day any doubt thta he may be wrong vanished...Geet had cheated him and that was clear!
**Flashback ends**
But after that he thought again...Geet did look pale..maybe she was sick...but then after 5 years he saw her with Rahul and she had admitted he was her fiance...then
everything came out...she had no links with any of these men...and Maan had breathed a sigh of relief..he thought now was his chance to sort things out...but then again
here comes another one...who was he?Looked like Geet knew him from a long time as she was crying...and the guy kept on comforting her and Maan felt a pang of jealously
seeing her in his arms...because with the rest his heart had screamed their 'JUST FRIENDS'..but with this one..Maan felt he had competition...Maan saw Geet pulling away
and turning her face away from the guy and pouting...the guy asked her:'Geetu kya howa?'
Maan felt his eyes popping out..the guts this guy had to call his misthi Geetu?
Then he heard Geet say:'Arny im not talking to you'
Maan thought he was going to faint..Geet never had a nick name for him but no this guy had nick-names?..Arny..Geetu what was going on?
Geet was just faking anger how could she stay angry at Arnav..he was after all the reason she had begun to live again...but there was no harm in teasing...her face broke
in a smile when she saw Arnav going on his knees and holding his ears and saying:'Im sorry'
Geet just chuckled and said:'Forgiven'..Arnav chuckled and tears returned in her eyes again...she remembered this same chuckle that day...the day she was...before she
could complete her thought..she heard Riya's voice:'Arnavvv uncleee...'
A-Meri baby princesss...he said as he picked her up and embraced her...Riya whispered something in his ear and he chuckled...
Geet faked anger again but this time at Riya:'Acha Arnav uncle jo aye you forgot mamma?'
R-Oho..mummy you're always there...
G-So is Arnav...
R-Yeah but sorry mamma he's more fun...and she turned to Arnav and said:'Meri chocolate?'
A-Woh bag mein hai...
R-I'll take it from you later..now i have to go and watch my cartoons...
A-Okay!
Maan felt sad looking at the bond Riya had with this Arnav guy...with each passing moment he got this feeling..this guy was very special to Geet..he had never felt like this
ever..he saw the respect in Geet's eyes when she looked at him..he saw the twinkle...he saw something he couldnt describe..but he knew one thing Geet showed him a lot
of affection but why was his question?And yes he was feeling jealous for the first time..other times when he saw Geet with anyone...he knew Geet was his even if he didnt admit it...
but with this guy he had a weird feeling...he looked at Geet who was talking with Arnav:
G-Arny
A-Haan Geetu?
G-What did you bring for me Siirrr...
Arnav smirked and said:'Ms.Geet I have told you a hundred timess...his sentence was completed by Geet:'Not to call me Sirrr...'
Geet laughed with true happiness after ages..and hearing that all her friends felt happy...Arnav had bought their Geet back.even it was for a few moments..she had laughed
with her heart...
G-Arny change your dialogues...
A-Geetu tu apne habits change karle pehle..
G-Theek Hai..how are you?
A-Aab apko time mila?
G-Batao bhi
A-Theek hoon...but i missed you
G-We missed you too
A-We?
G-Ermm...i meant haan me and Riya!
A-Okay...chalo..let me meet the others too..
G-Okay...
Arnav met everyone and they all started chatting..Geet felt really happy..Arnav was a really good person...and he got someone he deserved,she saw Rahul coming over to her
R-Missed him?
G-We used to have fun...
R-We can still have fun...
G-Besties haan?
R-Yup...
G-But isnt Arnav acting too...
R-Too?
G-I dont know..comfy..comfy..close close..
R-What do you mean?
G-I mean when ever i used to hug him..he just hugged for barely 2 seconds but today he let me hug him..and so much sweet talk..Geetu?He rarely ever calls me that
unless he wants to annoy me...
R-He's your friend.he's seeing you after years...
G-Yeah still..something is weird...
R-Stop it and come..we have a party to arrange...
G-Oh yes..come on!
Maan felt really down...he didnt like this Arnav and Geet being close freinds...and when he found out they were having a party..Maan got really pissed...and decided..
he would come to this party and tell this Arnav whatever that Geet only belonged to him..he would sort everything out with Geet..he didnt care about the past..all he wanted
now was to get Geet and Riya back in his life...and he would do that!
Evening:
The whole gang was running through the plan once again...
R-Arnav remeber what you have to do?
A-Yes dude...
Armaan-Guys dont you think we should clear the past first?
K-Nahi..first we have to make them realize how much they still love each other...
S-I agree with Khushi...
Y-Okay okay guys..chill...all of you ready?
All-READY!!
Maan went and sat with Riya...and asked her:'Where's your mother?'
R-Getting ready
M-Hmm...
R-Daddy you're so mean...you're only thinking about mom..what about me how do I look?
M-Baby you always look pretty..and words cant describe you're beauty...
R-I watch movies as well..use these dialogues somewhere else...now tell me how do I look?
M-You're just like your mother...
R-Fine dont tell me..I'll go ask Arnav uncle..he always tells me how I look..Goodbye!!!
Maan felt a tug in his heart..what the hell?Now his daughter would go and ask that freak how she looked?
Maan rushed after her and said:'Baby you look really beautiful'
But Riya had already left..Maan felt really bad and thought:'What was so special about this Arnav?'
Then his eyes fell on Geet and his breath hitched in his throat..it was as if he had seen an angel...Geet looked flawless...with her hair put down..soft make-up and
golden sari..she looked undescibable...but the next minute when he saw her walk towards Arnav and ask him:'How do I look?'
He felt the urge to strangle the guy..first Riya now Geet...urghh..what did this Arnav have?
