Geet's phone rang'she picked it up:

Geet cut the call and sighed she didn't want to face Maan again but destiny had some other plans'.and now she was sure he would try and make life more hell for her'.and that too she had to go to the site? Which was like 100km away from Delhi and on top of that Riya?

G-Yash'woh I have to go some urgent work'can you take care of riya?

G-Riya mamma will be back soon'.

Geet hugged riya and left for the site'thinking what new game did Maan have now?

Maan reached the site and waited for Geet'he had planned to make her work so much that she didn't have any choice but spend her time with him'and he would torture her like hell''.

M-Armaan toh yahi wait kar'mein ata hoon'

Geet hurried out of her car and walked quickly she was annoyed at Maan'.she was worried about riya and on top of that she was scared'.she didn't want Maan to know anything and she didn't want her past to affect her present she was confused hurt and oh she didn't know what?

**Flashback**

G-Yash'.im sure about this'don't worry'my child is my everything and im her mother and she's my daughter no one else can be a part of this family'

Y-Even me?

G-You are family'.na?

Y-Geet I still think you should consider my offer'.

G-Yash'I can handle it by myself'..

She was walking when she bumped into someone'and she looked up to see who it was?

And her eyes widened in shock'.and she gasped:'Armaan?'

A-Geet'hey'

G-Armaan tum yaha? Arent you a doctor?

A-Haan'woh Maan ne yaha'woh'

G-Theek Hai'im sorry

A-Geet its okay'how are you?

G-Im running late we'll talk later'.

A-Okayyy'Geet will you ever consider forgiving me?

G-Armaan that is the past'.and no never'

A-Okay'chal bye'

Arjun was ringing the bell from the past 2 mins and no one was opening the door'and finally someone did and he saw her and smiled'

A-Arey kitne time lagati hai yaar?

'Chup kar'tu yaha iss time kaise?'

A-Arey Shilpa mein apni dost se milna aye hoon'

S-Acha g pehle toh yaad nahi aye'

A-Sorry yaar'but you know bro'kaam and kaam and kaam'

S-Haan haan janti hoon'chal andar aa'

They both moved inside and he sat on the sofa'

Arjun didn't know how to tell her?

How to start?

For the first time in his life he was fumbling for words'

Armaan had got an urgent call from the hospital so he decided to leave'he hurried towards his car and left thinking he'll inform Maan later'.in the car he was thinking about what Maan had told him?

If he was correct there was some huge misunderstanding but what Maan said did make sense'but before all that he had to ask Maan a few questions'but one thing he was sure of Maan loved Geet madly'otherwise knowing she betrayed him wouldn't have hurt him this much after he claims he has forgotten her'.but he still had this feeling something was wrong'he decided after the hospital he would go and talk to Shilpa about it!

Geet hurried towards Maan and said:'Yes Mr.Khurana what do you want to discuss I need to hurry home''

M-Yes'Mr.Singhania must be waiting right?

G-That is not your business just say what you want to?

M-Did you ever love me?

G-Mr.Khurana'

M-Tell me did you ever even for a second love me?

If you did why did you do this to me?

G-Stop it Mr.Maan'I have to go home if this is why you called me then goodbye'

She turned to leave but tears made their way through her eyes'how her heart had wanted to scream:Yes I love you'I always did and always will'yes I haven't got over you'.yes it affects me when you call me Misthi'.it affects me when you touch me'.

She quickly regained her composure and shut off her heart and started walking backwards when Maan called out:'Ms.Handa should the wall colours be red or white?'

Geet turned around and said:'Red'

M-And architecture?

G-Roman'

M-We'll be starting the project soon'lets discuss the designs'

G-Hmm'

When she turned someone put their hands on her eyes'and Geet's lips curved in a smile and she said:'Riya'

R-Arey'mamma ko pata chal gaye?

G-Haan baby'

She turned around and saw riya in Yash's arms and said in a strict tone:'What are you both doing here?...I said na I'll be back to yaha ane ki kya zaroorat thi?Ye Mumbai nahi hai baby'you don't know this area well''

R-OMG'dad yeh kitne bolti hai?

Y-I agree baby'

G-Tum done mil kar meri'

Y-Geet calm'we came here coz Riya really missed you okay?

G-Awan baby missed me?

R-Haan'

G-come here..

She took riya from yash and hugged her'

G-Riya you go home I'll come soon mummy ko kaam hai na?

R-Par'

G-You're a good girl na?

R-Theek hai'

G-Yash ise lejao'mein ghar par milti hoon..

Y-Geet tum yaha theek hoo na?

G-Yash'I can handle myself'

Even though she didn't want to stay alone with Maan she knew she had to face him in this month'.she couldn't run forever could she?

Maan decided to act professional for sometime as they needed to work on the project as well but he would hurt her'.no doubt'when all of a sudden he saw a little girl's face'she was beautiful'.she was angelic'she was just exactly like an angel with chocolate brown doe like eyes'a milky white complexion'and that's when he saw the person carrying her it was that Yash'he boiled up in anger'.he clenched his hand in a fist and had the urge to kick him'.but seeing that little girl he felt something'.a nice sensation'.he even forgot about Yash but then his heart broke listening the girl call Yash Papa'that meant what he thought was right?

Yash and Geet?

What had happened five years back was true?

It really happened'

**Flashback**

Maan got up'his head ached like anything'he couldn't remember what happened last night'he looked around but Geet was not there'he panicked where was she'.he looked around'he quickly put his clothes outside when he saw Geet and Yash standing and talking'.he was about to call Geet when he heard her speak'

G-Yash you will not tell Maan anything now okay?

Y-But Geet he has the right to know'.

G-Nahii'not now okay'kal raat jo bhi howa who sirf humare beech mei rahega okay?

Y-For how long?

G-Jab thak I want'

Y-Par Geet..

G-Yash promise you wont tell anyone'please'.

Y-Theek hai I promise'last night will stay a secret between us'.

G-Aur Yash apne room sahi karlo before Meera comes'

Y-Theek Hai'

Maan wondered what they were talking about but then he thought maybe something stupid just like that'and called:'Geeet''

G-Haan Maan'aap uth gaye?

M-Haan tum kya karahi hoo?

G-Woh'ummm'.kuch nahi just that I was telling Yash not to tell dadi about the whole drunk thing'

M-Oh'chale?

G-Haan chalo..

So that day whatever he had thought was true?

He had thought so many time that maybe he was wrong but today he really believed that he was correct he had judged Geet correctly'his anger was on the peak'so he questioned:'So this is your kid haan?'

G-Haan she is my baby'

M-Toh you did betray me'

G-I don't care'

G-Mr.Khurana project please'

M-Why did you do this to me? Why did you play with my emotions?

G-I owe you no explanations'

He received a slap'he left her and held his cheek'.she had slapped him'yet again fury blazed in him'how dare her'she had crossed all her limits'

M-HOW DARE YOU?

G-KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN'YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO POINT A FINGER ON MY CHARACTER'.YES SHE IS MY DAUGHTER AND YES YASH IS HER FATHER'.AND YES WE ARE MARRIED YOU BETTER WATCH YOURSELF YOU ARE SPEAKING TO MRS.GEET SINGHANIA RIGHT NOW'SO DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK ABOUT MY CHARACTER'..

Maan's heart broke again'so he was just a stupid matter for her'he took all his pain and frustration out in the form of anger'that's why he said those mean words'his heart wanted to say sorry but his ego and anger were way too big so he blurted out:'Haan'.so what if she's married her boss's company is her own'she and her boss are engaged and share a very close relation which you're husband doesn't mind?

Do you Yash'you don't mind that you're wife COOK'S at her boss's place?

And knows his regular?

Y-No I don't I trust her unlike SOME people'

M-Trusting someone like her can be poisonous to your life'coz people like her do nothing except hurt'

Geet stood there'.she was not able to move'her heart shattered listening to Maan's poisonous words'.it hadn't hurt this much the first time'but this time'he had her daughter involved?

She would never forgive this man'..the tears she was holding back threatened to fall'.but once again forgetting her pain and keeping her self-respect and daughter's image intact'she turned around and said trying to maintain anger and hatred in her voice:'Mr.Khurana'we will discuss the rest of the project tomorrow'and yes'the floor should be marble''

She walked off and went and sat down in the car'.

Y-Geet'you alright?

G-Haan'

R-Mamma'why were you shouting?

G-Arey baby mamma was just joking'.

R-Sachi?

G-Haan baby'.chalo now forget it'.wanna have ice-cream?

Riya's eyes lit up and she nodded'seeing happiness on her baby's face Geet's face broke down in a smile'for a moment she forgot all other pain'and just smiled'.

Yash watched Geet'she was quiet till now'Riya was asleep'and Geet was just staring with a distant expression on her face'Yash tried asking her many times but she wouldn't answer'he sighed and put his head on the seat'and closed his eyes'he was trying to calm himself but he couldn't believe Maan had said all that'the person Geet had loved like mad had said such things to her'he knew she was in pain and was broken'.but he also knew she would never open up she would bury all that pain and act strong but Yash knew how fragile she was'.
