chapter-1

In the suburbs of mumbai...

He was passing through the long corridor contemplating the reason for his so called master's beckoning. He knew whenever such summons come, there is always some big matter crawling up his sleeves...!!

The moment he received the news that don needs to see him urgently, he knew something is wrong. He strode straight towards don's cabin where only few trusted men were allowed...!!

He knocked the door for permission and heard him...

Come inside adi...!!

Adi went inside and stood infront of don. He looked calm as always like nothing had happened and that is what made him different from others, his mountain like solid nature which doesn't allow any adversary affect him...!!

Adi saw narang and five of his men standing there and sameera, don's supposedly gf, sitting on the hand rest of his chair with her arms around his neck. He stood there silently waiting for don's words...

Don, I guess we should take the matter seriously. Police has increased their speed. In the last months many of our consingments have been caught and seized...narang expressed his worry

Don was silently listening, but no one could tell what was going on in his mind. His black glasses were doing their best in hiding his mysterious eyes while his demeanor potrayed a very relaxed picture while he played with sameera's curls who was...!!

His lips stretched slightly on hearing narang while there was no other change in his expression. He took a deep breath and leaned more into his big chair leaving his previous work...

Oh narang, you worry so much...he guestered narang and adi to sit while the other five stood by the side of his table...relax, take a chill pill man...!!

But...

These tom and jerry games of police will not do any harm to us...he said silencing him with his face oozing out of a dangerous confidence...and its certainly not the matter for which I have called you both here...!!

I want to hand you over some important work adi...he looked at adi

Sure don...adi instantly replied

We have a very huge narcotic dealing tomorrow...he paused for a while...and I want you to get it finalised...!!

But how can adi go, he is not experienced enough to handle such a big deal and moreover the clients are very important...narang again interfered

Well in that case, you should have been in my place, shouldn't you...??...don looked at him with an intense gaze while sam chuckled at his sentence

I didn't mean that don, I was just saying that...

Shut up narang...don silenced him...you know what your problem is, you talk too much without using your goddam brain...!!...I know well what to do and what not so better don't give me unwanted suggestions...!!

He instantly calmed himself again and in such a way that no one would guess he was frustrated at narang a moment ago and shifted his gaze back to adi...

Yeah, adi...

Don't worry don, I'll not let you down...he nodded with firmness

Good...and narang, make sure that the material is perfect...he made a straight serious face and said...I don't want any mistake this time...!!

Right don...!!

Ok, so what are you all waiting for, huh, a farewell party...??...he chuckled a little grabbing sam closer to him...let me have some peace...he said and turned his attention back to sameera

Adi looked at narang who simply shook his head and guestered everyone to leave...!!

Hey geet, aren't you going to the jim today...??...nisha asked seeing geet eating her breakfast slowly

No yaar, I don't feel like going today...geet replied munching the paratha on which nisha's eyes widened

Geet what are you doing...??

Geet looked at her in confusion...

What...??

Why are you eating this oily stuff, don't you remember the competition today...she tried to snatch the paratha...you'll become lethargic

Shut up nisha...!!...geet said snatching her paratha back...one paratha will not over shadow my year round practice, so don't irritate me now and let me eat properly. I need lots of energy...she smiled at her yummy paratha before pushing it inside her mouth

By the way, what if you become fat and jiju rejects you...??...then to you'll have to leave the oily stuff...she teased her

Geet looked at her with murdering eyes and replied...

I don't care...!!

Really, thats why you keep boring me chanting his qualities even when you don't know his name...??...she raised her brows while geet frowned at being caught

Uh, don't lie, I never talk about him that much. I told you about him just bcoz you are my friend, but if you feel so bored than I am sorry for wasting your time...she made an angry face and said...I'll never tell you anything about him...!!

Oye hoye, madam naraz ho gayein, achcha baba sorry. He is the best and I love to hear about the anonymous to be jiju of mine...nisha chuckled and engulfed geet in a bear hug...!!

Seriously geet, I don't understand, I know adi bhaiya wants to surprise you with his best friend's deadly looks but he could have atleast told you the name...!!...achcha tell me honestly, don't you want to know his name...??

Geet looked at nisha and said...I do, but how to ask bhaiya...??...you know, whenever I indirectly try to find out some information from him, he always catch me and then tease me like anything...she said grumpily

Well, what else can you expect from your super intelligent brother...nisha laughed

Yeah, I know, but I am his sister and equally smart...geet boasted lifting up her invisible collar

Yeah yeah I know...IPS bhai ki to be IPS sister...!!

A jeep enter the mumbai police head quater and a man in uniform and wearing glasses came out from it. As he passed by the corridor each police personel saluted him while he nodded in acceptance. He strode into a cabin on the outer wall of which the name plate of ACP ADITYA HANDA was hung...!!

Two police inspectors, who were standing outside his cabin followed him inside taking his permission...

Good morning sir...both saluted him

Morning kulkarni...he replied in a stern vocie

Sir we have inspected the area. Your information was correct, there are many illegal alcohol shops and factories...mishra updated him

hmm, good. Seize the place with the help of force and remember, do not let any criminal get away...he said with finality

Right sir...!!

Sir, how long are you going to continue this facade...??

Not for long mishra...adi looked at them and smiled...I have got a major break through in the case. They have appointed me for a huge drug dealing and so I'll be having all the necessary informations...he placed a file infront of them and said...there is one more good news, the chief is coming to India specially for this deal and we have to cash on this opportunity...!!

Thats really great sir...kulkarni expressed his happiness on seeing there year long wait finally getting over. Yes the big fish was approaching them and they were ready for it...!!

Yes, it is, indeed...!!...but we have to wait a bit, don is going to delhi for some work and chief will come only after his arrival, so I guess we have to wait till the next week...adi glanced at his watch and asked...what is the time of my meeting with DCP sir...??

At 11 sir

Ok...make sure that those illegal factories be captured tonight without any mistake...adi said picking up his files

Right sir...they saluted and left the cabin

After few minutes adi also left his cabin to meet the DCP...!!

Three days later...

It was raining heavily and the sun was already set. The path was getting more obscure with each passing hour and the howling wind was making it all the more difficult for geet to walk. She was returning from the library when suddenly the down pour started...!!

Uff...!!...geet frowned as her umbrella was going out of her control...hey babaji, what a horrendous rainfall...!!

She some how managed to hold back her umbrella which was wriggling in her fist to escape.

All this is bcoz of nisha, if she wouldn't have been late we would have completed the notes on time...she cribbed and cursed nisha for the umpteenth time for making her face this wild rainfall...!!

Suddenly a gush of wind blew away her umbrella which she was holding on to with all her might and a loud thunder filled the sky. Soon she was drenched with the cold rain water making her very angry...

Uugghh, I'll kill you nisha...she screamed in annoyance but luckily no one was there to hear her or otherwise one might mistook her mental...!!

She was walking through the dark lane slowly taking small steps to avoid slipping when she felt some movement around her...

She turned behind feeling some one's gaze on her back but found no one. She was about to go ahead to look carefully but dropped the idea as it was getting too late and dangerous...!!

But as she strightened herself moving back to her usual direction she saw some men standing at an arms distance from her...

She sensed danger and stepped back slowly not wanting to get into any mess as moreover the guys didn't seemed that friendly to her...!!

She thought she'll walk back silently without getting noticed but to her utter dismay, as she took another step behind a splash was heard due to stepping in a mud puddle...!!

She instantly glanced at those men and found them staring at her and she knew its time to run...

She took long steps and ran back away from those goons while they followed her with equally long steps...!!

Soon her fast walking turned to slow running and then she started running fastly as they were getting closer. She felt her legs getting heavy due to the mud and water sticking to her churidar while she ran through the watery lanes...!!

But soon she was caught by one of the goons, pulling her backwards holding her duppatta. She felt the tug on her cotton and she released it from her neck to avoid getting into their hold, but she finally reached a dead end and was trapped...!!

Why are you running baby...??...one of them came near her...I heard hot chicks like you love rain, so lets enjoy the beautiful weather...he said trying to touch her

She backed off more and raised her finger warningly...

Don't come near or you'll regret your life...!!

They laughed at her words and commented...

Oh really, then we would love to regret this deadly mistake...and came very close to her. She looked into his eyes and said...

As you wish...she smirked and hit the man hard between his legs making him crawl on the muddy ground holding the painful area...!!

You bitch...the other jumped at her but she swiftly dodged him and kicked him in his stomach

Soon the other two came to the aid of his friend and grabbed geet' hand from behind. What she did next shocked them to the core...!!

She stretched herself behind and pulled one of the man entangling him with her leg, who slipped instantly due to greesy surface while the other received a severe blow on his face which came from her left fist. She was so quick in her move that the goons were aghast for a moment. But they regained themselves and charged on her together. Though she tried to tackle them but they over powered her and tied her hands behind her back...!!

Now I'll see, how you escape...one of them said gazing her with lustfull eyes...!!

She tried to free herself a lot, but all her efforts went in vein and were simply laughed off by those low lives...!!

As one of them grabbed her hand to pull her to him, she bit his hand but herself tripped in the process and was about to fall when some one catch her firmly from behind...

She closed her honey brown eyes in anticipation but he didn't let her fall and kept gazing at her ravishingly beautiful face. The rain drops falling on her creamy glowing sking made her look all the more appealing and he was lost in her completely...!!

Realizing the situation geet slowly opened her eyes to meet the most enchanting eyes in the world. His piercing hazel gaze hypnotized her instantly taking her to a world of ecstacy, both were lost in each other oblivious of their surrounding and the goons who were getting irritated to the sudden interruption...

Hey you, hand over the girl to us...their voice brought them back to earth

Geet felt so conscious finding herself lost in the arms of a stranger in such a condition. She didn't dared to look back into his eyes again fearing to drown in them completely...

He too wondered with astonishment losing himself like this for a mere girl when several beauties roam around him to grab his attention and he never got distracted without his WILL...!!

He jerked her in a standing position and let her gain balance herself...

The goons moved towards geet while she moved back, but her saviour stepped between them and geet blocking their hungry gaze from geet's unpresentable appearence...

Whoa whoa...!!...where are you all heading to, huh...??...he asked with a smirk...four men one girl, not fare...!!

Listen, don't try to become a hero, just get lost or we'll smash your head...the jerk standing on the right said on which HE started laughing like a maniac...

Oh man, you are too funny...he said in between his laughter while the goons and geet looked at him with surprise

What a pathetic adjective for DON...!!...his tone suddenly changed to a dangerous one

His interference and now lunatic laughter agitated the goons and the first one grabbed the collar of his rain coat...

Didn't you heard, just get lost...he said through gritted teeth

Geet was standing behind him listening to their convo, she was having a very weird feeling and his last words added to her astonishment. Was he the same don she has heard about in the news channels...??

He looked at the man's hand at his collar and then right into his eyes and said...

Collar chor...his voice had an lethal warning, but the dumb head didn't pay any heed which was his last mistake as the very next moment don caught his neck within his deadly grip and broke it in a slight jerk and let his lifeless body fall on the ground

The others felt a fire in his eyes and paused for moment contemplating on whether to charge on him or not, but they went for the former and chose their death...!!

It was a cake walk for don as the filthy loafers were no match to his mighty power and soon he killed them all shocking geet to the core. She saw how conviniently he broke their limbs and killed them ultimately and thats when she knew...he is really the DON...!!

He finished off with his killings and turned towards geet who was standing with her eyes widened in utter shock and horror. He looked at her horrified face and chuckled at her realisation...

I know I'm sexy, now stop ogling...his shameless boasting entered her ears bringing her back from her trans

She quickly closed her wide opened mouth and stepped back as he started approaching her...

His intense gaze was peeping into her eyes and burning her whole body with his passionate look. Geet felt weak in her knees just by his staring and was slowly dreading his closeness...!!
