Part 7

Abhay had the extra work of keeping away Piya from himself. She refused to stay away from him. He brought a new girl everyday to show her that he wasn't interested in any serious relationship. But it had no effect on her. So he resorted to getting on the nerves of Jay. It did 've some effect as she interfered always, taking Jay's side, but it also hurt him to see her with another guy.

Hasina was having trouble concentrating on her work, with Chand fighting for his life. Luckily she had Dhanish to depend upon. He proved to be a worthy employee in the past two years. She knew all about his history but he had been reformed since his ordeal with Sidharth. She had to agree that Sidharth had turned upside down many lives including his own.

Sidharth continued to notice changes in Hasina as the days went by - she was becoming more and more tensed about something. To the extent that she had started to forget locking him up.

It was day 7 when Hasina had to leave for office for a meeting. She was very tensed about leaving Chand in the critical hours that she had rushed out of Sidharth's room after talking on phone trying to get out of the meeting unsuccessfully. She forgot to lock Sidharth's door and he couldn't take this suspense anymore seeing her so desperate.

Sidharth tried to sense any movement in the house but found none. He started exploring the house, keeping a short distance from his door, ready to run back anytime in case anyone showed up. He couldn't help feeling like a kid doing something he was told not to do. But he needed to find out what was bothering his mother.

Yes, he has accepted her as his mother again, especially with her taking care of him even when he had never given her anything to trust him.

He finished exploring upstairs but didn't find anything strange. He continued to downstairs and saw the room where Chand was kept. He was shocked to see his condition but soon realized what had happened to him. He wondered how many days were left to find the cure for Chand. He tried to remember if he had seen any clue about this from Hasina's behavior. Then he remembered how she had avoided the topic when he asked about Abhay and Chand's reactions to his return.

Sidharth wondered if Hasina would notice his disappearance in her current state. He changed into Abhay's clothes, hiding the ones he used in his secret room and left the house silently. It was time for some action...

A week had gone by and Panchi had started to recover well. She had some visitors too - the old gang of Tracker, Angad, Kabir and even T. And her ex would-be-in-laws.

Yep, Dipanita and Jay had come to see her when they came to know about her accident, thanks to Piya. During one of their fights which turned ugly, she had accused Jay for siding with his cheater brother who was sole responsible for her sister's accident. And he had retorted back saying it was her sister's mistake for not driving carefully. But that didn't mean he was not going to show some good manners.

Panchi had no ill-feelings towards Jay or Dipanita. In fact, she liked the Khuranas, except for Neel. Eventhough she hated him, she wondered why Neel didn't visit her, not even for irritating her.

Arnab had told her about the broken engagement. But he hadn't told anything to the girls or Madhu, about the proposal for Piya. He was still confused about what to do.

Panchi felt relieved that now she was free from Neel but there was this small pain of having yet 'another broken relation'.

' Am I supposed to die a spinister? ', thought Panchi. ' Am I only a means for someone's plans? Dhanish for money, Sidharth for Piya and Neel for revenge. Did anyone ever thought about my feelings? I feel jealous of Misha, for being able to stay away from all such cheating guys. Piya is lucky that she had Abhay as her soulmate. But me...'

Panchi was finally allowed to go to work as the drama teacher, but her car was still under repair. So she ended up going to college with her sisters.

Jay couldn't help swearing. His car was punctured and he was running late. He had a score, long overdue, to be settled with the Dobriyal aka Piya and he wanted to do it asap.

To be honest, he couldn't figure out Piya. She was this arrogant girl who thinks herself to be hot, which was true by the way, and always fought with him. But the moment Abhay Raichand enters the scene, she becomes all lovey-dovey and takes his side against Abhay.

Abhay was another mystery. He knew about Abhay-Piya history but he was amused with Abhay insulting his relation with Piya.

If it wasn't for the complications in his life, he would 've happily set out to woo her.

He had warned Neel not to go after Panchi, as they both knew her " heartbreaker " reputation. But he didn't listen, and when he got rejected he had gone for revenge and got engaged to her using the families, but now even that too was gone but still he's bent on taking revenge.

Jay wasn't aware of Dipanita's new plan of making relation between the families. And she had strictly forbidden Neel from telling him. She was waiting for Arnab's reply.

Jay wished he could talk some sense into Neel. But at the moment, he needed a lift to college.

" Bro, I need a lift to college, my car has left me in the hour of need. "

" Just hop in, I'll drop you, " replied Neel distractedly. He was not in the mood for small talk. He was having a fight with himself.

Soon they were at the college and, to their surprise, facing the Dobriyals who were getting out of their car.

" Oh great !! What a start for the day ", complained Jay seeing his arch-enemy.

" Feelings are mutual Mr.Attitude ", retorted Piya.

" And I get a good drama for free ", grinned Misha, nudging Piya in Jay's direction.

And thus the cease-fire was over between Jay and Piya.

Only silent people were Neel and Panchi. Panchi was looking everywhere but Neel.

' Would it hurt her to look at him ?? '

He wanted to see her when he heard about her accident but their bitter n now-broken relation made him back out at the last moment from going with his mom and brother.

Panchi felt suffocated feeling his stares. She told off her sisters for wasting time instead of getting to their classes and walked towards the drama room.

Jay and Piya followed her, continuing their fight to class, with Misha enjoying every moment and brainstorming at intervals for ideas to create their love story.

Panchi felt bit lighthearted that Neel wasn't trying to kill her with his hate stares ; instead he looked like he felt bad for her injury.

' What am I thinking ? That too about Neel ??!! Snap out of it Panchi, don't fall for this drama. ' she scolded herself.

Neel watched her walking away. He wondered if he really wanted to hurt her or not. He clearly had feelings for her still.
