Thank you friends for your lovely comments and pressing the like button. I noticed that mostly I got very small comments on my last part. So a quick question.

Do you want me to put chapters with complete Maaneet moments in them or rather move the story forward fast?

I am giving hints of upcoming tracks in these chapters and I am sure you will get it in this or next chapter if not already. I have already written out the next track so can't change much now. But if you feel story is slow paced and you are getting bored, I can axe out some of the scenarios planned in future and try to wrap up quickly.

Please feel free to give your opinion. At the end what my readers like is very important as to how I write it.

Chapter 44 – Date continues

After dinner, Maan held Geet's hand and started to leave.

Geet – "Haawww Maan, aap bill nahin denge kya?"

Maan was exasperated at her antics. He shouted – "Geet!!!! I have prepaid everything before only…samjhi tum…ab chalo"

Maan opened the car door and noticed Geet was standing little away in front of the car.

Maan – "Kya hua Geet…andar baitho"

Geet – "I have a wish…should I tell you…no don't answer that…I know I should tell you…agar aapko nahin bolungi to kya padosi ko bolungi"

Maan replied cheekily – "Bolo Geet and please don't talk about this padosi again…kaash ki tumne next block ki jagah next ghar kharida hota…phir koi confusion nahin hota tumhein"

Geet giggled – "I wish I could have a dance with you"

Maan smiled softly hearing at the demand made by his Mishti – "Hmmm"

He sat in the car and started it so that the headlight shone on Geet. He searched for a CD and put it in. Soft music started playing. Maan moved towards Geet and sat on his one knee stretching his hand out – "Madam"

Geet gave her hand into his and Maan got up.

Maan held Geet's waist by the other hand and pulled her in closer. Geet kept her head on his shoulder and snaked her other hand around his neck with her fingertips touching his hair at his nape lightly.

Chehron ke mele mein chere the gum

Ek chera tha main ek chera the tum

Jaane kya tum ne dediya

Mujhko jahan mil gaya

Dhadkan zara ruk gayi hai

Kahin zindagi beh rahi hai

Maan bent down to inhale aroma of her hair. They gently swayed to the words which echoed their story.

Honthon par baat rahe

Baton mein sur bahe

Suron mein Geet wahi

Tumhari hi baat kahe

Mit jaoon sapnon ke aaghosh mein

Bheeg jaoon yadon ki bauchaar mein

Dhadkan zara ruk gayi hai

Kahin zindagi beh rahi hai

They parted lightly when it started to drizzle but Geet pulled Maan back. Maan – "Geet October ki barish hai….thand lag jayegi"

Geet – "Aap ho na mere personal doctor…please"

Maan was lost in those eyes which were twinkling with excitement. He tightened her grasp and twirled Geet in his arms nuzzling on her neck. Maan – "Waise bhi main hoon tumhe warm karne ke liye…tumhara personal doctor ke saath saath tumahara personal blanket"

Geet blushed and she squeezed more into his embrace.

Milte hi aankhon ne rishta pehchana

Ehaas seene mein sanson ne jaane

Chupke se pyar chu gaya

Dila ke ek janam naya

Dhadkan zara ruk gayi hai

Kahin zindagi beh rahi hai

They danced for a little while when Maan held her hand and took her close to the bonnet. Maan looked enchantingly at water drops sliding her face. His gaze stopped at a particular drop ready to fall down from her eyelashes. It was making her lash droop but it hung there as if was scared of leaving its home. But alas it fell and stuck at the corner of her lips where it was no more a drop. It was a smear of liquid and it rolled down to her neck, traveling the expanse of her white creamy skin and finally hiding inside her cleavage. There it was soaked by her white kurti which clinged to her like second skin.

Geet noticed fascination in Maan's eyes as they caressed her body. She was suddenly very aware of her white kurti which was leaving nothing to imagination. She blushed really hard.

Maan noticed her already peaking n**** becoming more prominent. He tore his gaze to look at Geet who had hidden her face in her palms.

Understanding her discomfort, Maan removed her hands from her face and pulled her into a hug. He hid her in his arms from the whole world including himself.

After some time, Geet shuddered in his arms and Maan realized that the rain had slowed down and there was chill in the air.

He parted himself from her and gently nudged her inside the car.

As he took his seat, her phone rang.

Geet – "Hello"

Rahul – "Where are you Geet? It is close to 10:30 guddan"

Geet – "Woh Rahul…actually"

Maan knew she was struggling to explain the situation to Rahul. He took the phone from her.

Maan – "Hello Rahul, Maan bol raha hoon. Geet is with me and she is fine."

Rahul – "Lekin…."

Maan – "Actually her car broke down. I had incidentally called her and she told me that she was going to call you. As I was closer being in Gurgaon, I told her I will pick her up. We just got a little delayed in the hotel and then at dinner. It will take another hour or so but you don't worry"

Rahul – "I am gonna kill this driver…God knows what these people do all the time…thanks you are there…thik hai, you guys come then we will talk"

Maan – "Sure…Bye"

Rahul – "Bye"

Maan noticed that Geet was shivering. He went out and got a bag from car boot.

Maan- "I always keep an extra change of clothes". He took out his shirt and a towel and gave it to her – "Here take this. Put your wet clothes on the back seat. I am sure they will dry in an hour or so."

Saying that he went out and stood next to car turning his face away. After sometime, he heard Geet calling him. He turned and his voice got stuck in his throat. Geet was wearing his white shirt which reached till her thighs. She looked extremely and incredibly s**y. Her wet curly hairs had made her shoulders wet and shirt see through. She looked down not able to face heat of his gaze.

As Maan sat down, he could not tear his eyes away. He leaned closer touching her wet hair on her shoulder and groaned- "Mishti'. He kissed her on the side of her neck and then her jaw line. His one hand slipped in her hair while other stroked her bare thigh. She moaned – "Maan" but Maan was totally lost in her and the moment. His hands moved over her shirt feeling her curves. Geet let go of whatever sanity was left in her and arched back to give him more access. A thunder brought Maan back to reality. He quickly got out of the car calming his heartbeats. Geet blushed hard and tried to gain back her senses. She called out to him – "Maan thand lag jayegi...andar aa jao and chalte hain"

Maan just nodded and went back to boot. He came back and sat down giving her a blanket. She draped it on her legs. Maan tried making things normal and said - "Geet, please face other way and close your eyes."

Geet said naughtily- "Acha - …lekin kyon...I have already worn your shirt"

Maan grinned at her answer. He removed his wet shirt and undershirt. Geet's eyes widened as she saw his wet body and flexing muscles.

Geet – "Hey Babaji…yeh to meri jaan hi le lenge…aap na danger ho female species ke liye"

Maan just chuckled and bent closer to her to take towel from her hand. He wiped himself inhaling her smell from the same damp towel.

Then he removed his belt buckle and opened his trouser's button. Geet's mouth opened wide and she hurriedly looked away clutching her eyes shut.

Maan smiled at her antics. Few minutes later Geet felt his breath on her ear. "Chae to dekh lo…sab tumhara hi hai"

Geet was startled – "chi chi chi Babaji…aap kaise baatein kar rahe ho"

Maan laughed loudly and put his hand under her chin and forced her look at him. Geet gave a sigh seeing him in a dry undershirt and jeans.

Geet hit him on the chest – "Aap bahut bure ho"

Maan – "Lo ab maine kya kiya…kuch galat kaha kya…hmmm"

Geet shied "chalo na…pehle hi bahut late ho raha hai"

Maan just smiled and started the car.

Maan noticed Geet fidgeting with collar of his shirt– "Geet, kya hua, kya soch rahi ho"

Geet – "Woh Rahul ka phone…I don't like lying"

Maan – "Hmmm….I know…Geet I think we should tell them about us. I know that you wanted some time but…Geet they trust us so much and I am sure they will be happy with our relationship. We haven't done anything wrong and this will bring them happiness only. I am sometime scared that if they find out from anybody else they may loose the trust they have on us. They may feel cheated and bad about our lying"

Geet – "I know…thik hai…day after is Sunday and everyone will be relaxed. So let's do it on Sunday"

Maan took her fidgeting fingers in his hand. "Don't worry Jaan; I am sure all will be fine. I will talk to them and everything is going to be ok…hmmm"

Geet nodded and leaned to rest on his shoulder as he drove.

Geet changed back on the outskirts of Delhi and Maan wore the shirt she was wearing filling himself with her essence.

They walked inside KM to found Rahul waiting for them.

Geet – "Rahul tu soya nahin?"

Rahul – "Guddan…"

Geet just floated into his arms and sobbed. After all Rahul was her personal bodyguard since school. Geet felt very emotional and what happened in the evening caught up with her once again with Rahul's questioning looks. She sobbed – "Bhai…"

Rahul stiffened. Geet never calls him Bhai unless there is some serious problem.

He came out of the hug and cupped her face. "Kya hua Guddan….bol kya hua"

He looked at Maan.

Geet – "Woh Dev…."

Rahul – "Dev?"

Maan intervened – "When I reached Dev was misbehaving with her. I just got her out and…"

Rahul clenched his hand in a fist – "I can't believe this. Nerve of that b****. I will kill him"

Geet held Rahul's hand – "Please Rahul, what's up with you guys. Hitting and screaming hardly ever solves anything. I had a hard time explaining this to Maan and now you. We will pay him back but not with physical bruises…please"

Rahul just nodded and hugged Maan. Rahul – "Thanks Yaar"

Maan – "Pagal ho gaya hai…bas kar"

Geet - "Please guys, I am really tired and sleepy...Maan I think you should also sleep…It is already quite late"

Rahul came out of the hug – "Haan…by the way don't say anything to anyone else…Chaiyiji and Naintara are here for a week and you know how she is. She was anyways cribbing about "Ghar ki Ladki itni raat ko ghar se bahar" stuff and she will make an issue if this comes out."

Geet and Maan just nodded – "Good Night"

All three parted to go their rooms for another night, cocooned in the warmth of today and waiting to face cold of upcoming winter days.
