FANTASY

CHAPTER-9

Geet's health improved considerably in the next weeks, while Maan continued to look after her and pamper her. The days were spent in bliss, and the hurtful incident was rubbed off from their lives. They were both happy and content, to be around each other, and love each other sincerely.

It was morning, when Geet stepped out of the shower, drying her hair, clad in a white salwar suit. Maan was still sleeping as it was Sunday and there was no office. Well, not quite!!! He was sneaking glances at his gorgeous wife as she stood in front of the mirror. The lavender fragrance drifting from her body tingled Maan's senses, and he slowly lifted himself off the bed and walked towards her. Geet failed to notice him, so it wasn't before he was standing right behind her that she stiffened and stopped her actions. Maan ran his fingers sensuously in her wet hair, pushing them on one side to expose her long neck and half covered back. He held her shoulders gently and dipped his face into the nape of her neck, placing a smooth soft kiss. He licked the water droplets on her neck and shoulder seductively. Geet closed her eyes, as she felt Maan caressing her back gently. His hands made their way to the dori of her Kameez and with a swift movement, he pulled it open. She sucked in a deep breath, and risked a glance at her handsome husband. What she saw, made her spines shiver in anticipation. Maan's eyes were staring at hers into the mirror and they were heavily lined with lust and desire. He slowly turned her around and trailed his hands down to her waist, giving her goosebumps, even though she was well covered. He pulled her closer, their lips inches apart. Maan stared at her lips sensuously, causing her to breathe heavily.

" Geet!!!", he whispered huskily against her lips, " I love you Jaan!"

A drop of water was dangling down her lower lip, threatening to fall down. Maan moved closer and licked the drop off her lower lip, causing Geet to shudder in his arms. He looked at her to see her eyes closed, and very slowly moved his lips on her. He pecked her softly, starting to suck her lower lip causing her to open her mouth. He delved his tongue into her mouth ravishing the sweetness within. Geet wound her hands round his neck and pulled him closer to her. The kiss deepened, as Maan took her tongue into his mouth and caressed it gently. They began to move backwards without breaking the kiss. Suddenly Maan twisted Geet around causing her to fall on the bed and him to land on her. They continued kissing, and Maan pinned Geet's hands down on the bed. He left her lips,and moved to her neck, sucking the flesh softly. Geet moaned, feeling herself getting wet between her legs, but her eyes shot open as she felt a familiar pain in her left wrist. She bit her lips to stop the scream, but Maan held her wrists more tightly and she yelled out.

Maan stopped immediately and looked up at her.

" Geet!! Did I hurt you? Are you okay?" he inquired worriedly.

Geet looked at him and recalled the last weeks. Yes, their differences were sorted, but it had taken very long for Maan to step out of his guilt trip. She was not going to get him back to square one by telling him the truth!!

" No Maan!! I am fine!!", she lied feebly.

Maan narrowed his eyes at her. She was a horrible liar. He looked down at his hands which had pinned her wrists down. Her right hand looked ok, but she wore bangles on her left hand. And a whole lot of them. She had just come out of the shower, she wasn't even wearing her mangalsutra yet, then why these bangles?

" Geet!! Why do you always wear these? They must be so uncomfortable.", he said and started slipping them off her hands.

" No Maan!! Wait", but it was too late. He saw the scar.

" Oh My God!! Geet!! How did you get hurt? What the hell happened? This looks so bad, it must be a hell lot of a pain.", he said in alarm.

"Woh…woh… yeh mujhe..main gir gayii thi…aur yeh laga and I didn't apply med on the right time and it turned black…ha yehi hua tha!!!", she finished off, nodding her head vigourously, to justify her lie!!

Maan held her wrist gently and looked at the long blue-black scar on her soft hand. His eyes were clouded with confusion and dismay. And then, realization hit him. His eyes shot up to Geet, who was looking down, and he whispered,

" I gave you this haina Geet? That day… uss raat ko!! Isiliye tum…that's why you wear these bangles which are so uncomfortable. To hide the mark… maine diya hai na tumhe yeh jakham? Aur tum mere liye jhooth bol rahiho… Something you are so terrible at!! Batao Geet, maine kiya na yeh? Maine soch bhi kaise liya ke woh baat itni aasani se khatam ho jayegi….

He left her wrists, and lifted himself off her body. A gust of cold air hit her, as she felt the absence of his body warmth over her. He got up and walked away from the bed.

" Main insaan kehlane layak nahin hoon, Geet. Main tumhare kareeb aane ke layak nahin hoon!!!", he whispered softly.

" Nahin Maan!! Aap yeh kya kehrahe hain? Yeh toh galti se hua tha, aap ne jaan bujhkar thori na kiya!! Aap mujhe kabhi dard de hi nahin sakte!! Aur aapne mujhse waada kiya thana, ke hum us bare mein koi baat nahin karenge… toh phir yeh…"

He whipped around and held her wrist.

" Did you see this Geet? I did this to you. You were screaming that its hurting you, and I still held on deliberately. Of course maine yeh jaan bujkar kiya. Dekho isse, kitna dard hota hogana tumhe? Its not even dressed properly aur doctor ne bhi…."He stopped abruptly, as it dawned on him. " The doctor had also said, ke tumhare bohut khoon beh chukka hain!! I could have killed you Geet, you could have died because of me. Aur mujhe itne dino tak pata hi nahin chalne diya tumne!! I behaved like an animal with you." he spat out furiously.

" Nahin Maan…yeh aap kya kehraahe hai!!! Please meri baat toh…." Geet tried to talk it off, but he raised his hand to silence her.

" Main tumhe aur dard nahin de sakta Geet!! Accha hoga agar main tumse dur rahu toh, since I end up hurting you every time I come close you. Main tumhe chune ke layak nahin hoon!!", he said painfully and walked out of the room, leaving a teary-eyed Geet behind…

wow...superb update...glad to see they have left their guilt back n moved on with their life but the scar on her hand brought everything back to him...n he's once again guilt-ridden...which made him distance himself from her at the moment of their passion...looking at ur precap,I just hope Geet will be able to pacify him with her ministrations...pls update soon...
