Maan angrily strides home surprising Vicky and Meera who walked in from their dinner date at the same moment. Meera says goodbye to Vicky and says that he should go tend to Maan because something did not look right. Vicky nods and goes and follows after Maan.
" Bro . . . Bro!" Vicky kept yelling out, but Maan just continued his angry stride to his room.
Before Maan could close the door Vicky placed his foot saying, " Bro please! Kya hua hai! Why are you so angry?"
"I don't know if I should thank you or hate you for convincing me to go to that party Vicky. I surely received a surprise just like you said . . . a very shocking surprise, which really opened up my eyes!
So please just let me be for tonight . . . just let me be!". Maan's body was shaking in anger mixed with nothing but only pain.
Vicky shocked goes out of the way and Maan closes the door shut.
He winces in pain and anger and takes it all out by shoving everything on his desk to the floor.
He lifts his eyes and head up, fighting back a tear, "Kyun kiya yeh saab meri saat Geet! Kyun?"
Maan's pain was so loud that Vicky could hear it. All he could think was what the heck happened at the party? He tries calling Geet but her phone was switched off.
Vicky: Damn it Geet! Why are you not picking up the phone! Akher kya hua aap dono ki beech?

It was past midnight and Romeo was still over at Geet's place and they were chatting like the good old friends they were. The tv was on a show that Geet had recorded to watch later, but she was too lost in her blabbering to even pay attention to the show.
Romeo was also alone in this world. He had a few friends here and there and his job, which he focused on a lot, but besides that nothing else. After a long time he was enjoying himself even though all he was doing was listening to Geet.
She looked so cute to him in the way her expressions kept on changing as she continued with her story her hands also flying in the air as she used them to emphasis her points.
Romeo gets off her and says,
"Even at this age you still play pranks" he says in a playful tone.
Geet: Yup and you are the only fool I play them on.
Romeo: oh really?
Geet seeing the evil twinkle in his eyes starts to make a run for it and even throws pillows at him, but Romeo continued to chase her around the living room. After a long time Geet was laughing and enjoying herself, but deep inside she didn't know why she felt something missing, she just couldn't place her finger on it.

Maan's heads over to work although he knew that she would be there, he was going to show how professional he was. He hated it to the core though! He didn't want to see her face again. His pain just seemed to increase and his mind couldn't concentrate on anything else.
His eyes fall on her cabin where her seat was empty.
Maan: Geet kaha hain?
Adi: I don't know sir. I think she may be running late.
Late? But why would be late on her first day back to work. So many things were running through his head . . . not anything good unfortunately. He could see Geet packing up her bags and riding a plane in the arms of her Romeo, without even saying a goodbye. All the possibilities that ran through his head just enraged the monster in him and he was not just going to sit down and let history repeat itself without him getting some peace of mind.
He sat in his car and speeded away to his destination.

Vicky was about to use the spare key Geet had given to him in case of an emergency to open Geet's apartment. NO matter how much he knocked nobody was opening the door, which started to freak him out a bit . . . no actually a lot.
When he opens the door he got nothing by the biggest shock of his life. He couldn't believe his eyes. He closes the door immediately and steps out. He also started to feel hurt.
"How could you geet? How could you . . ." Vicky says wincing in disgust and pain.
Just then Maan arrives at Geet's doorstep at becomes shocked to see Vicky here and that too in this state.
Maan: Vicky?
Vicky starts to pray from the bottom of his heart that he was just hearing things and that Maan was really not here.
He opens his eyes to see his bro standing right there and not happy at all.
Maan: what are you doing here? In fact how do you know she lives here?
Vicky: I can ask you the same question bro?
Maan gets stunned hearing his own word get twisted and turned towards him. It took a few seconds but he regains his posture again and retorts, " You will get the answer to your question in just a few moments".
He goes over to open the door to her apartment. Vicky screams, " Noo".
Maan questioningly looks at him.
" Meri matlab hai . .. noo body is home" Vicky says smiling weakly.
" Really? let me see about that!" he says as he twists the door knob and pushes it open.
"Bhai nahi" Vicky tried to protest with Maan, but it was too late his eyes were not lying to him.
It was as if Geet was just pouring more salts on his wounds. Geet was sleeping on the sofa and was snuggled against none other than Romeo. Geet was on top and her head was gently placed on his chest. Too make matters the tv was on the show that Geet had recorded and apparently it was still playing. It was Tina's Show, which was a talk show generally about love.
"GEEETTT" maan roared in bloodshot fury eyes.
No matter what, Vicky could not stop what was about to take place. It was too late. Geet had finally unleashed the monster in Maan Singh Khurana.
Both Geet and Romeo jolted awake. Geet was surprised to find Maan and Vicky right here in her living, but even more surprised to find herself in Romeo's arms.
"How long did you think this little game of yours would last Miss Geet Handa".
Geet was really confused and she didn't know if Maan was enraged at her for seeing her so close to Romeo or the fact that he found out about the plan to win him back games she was playing with him.
"Very well plan Geet . . . who knew you had such a side but I am sorry to burst your bubble but your little secret is out!"
He grabs her arm and clutches her closer. Geet was really scared now. His eyes were burning with pure hatred and anger.
" What gave you the right to do this to me Geet? KYUN kiya yeh sab meri saat! KYUN" he says squeezing her arm harder.
The hostess on the tv show also says, " Why would you play with his feelings if you never really loved him?" echoing the pain that Maan felt right now. Maan glanced at the t.v and then at Geet as if waiting for her response.
Romeo turns the tv off and tries to barge in between them.
Romeo: What the hell is your problem? Let her go!
Maan was already in a deadly state of anger and Romeo was not making it any less. He was screaming at him . . . at Maan Singh Khurana.
Maan started to tremble in anger and then gives Romeo one stabbing glare. Geet was completely mum couldn't bring herself to utter a word, just tears were welling up in her eyes.
He lifts Geet's hand bringing into Romeo's eye view and then let's go saying, " She is all yours ".
He starts to step backwards-giving one piercing glance to Geet. Geet was confused about how he had found out about her mission to win his heart, but she just couldn't see him leaving her like this.
Geet: Maan I only did this because . . .
Maan silences her with his finger. He makes the gesture that he doesn't even want to know anymore.
He turns around storming out of the apartment, but before stepping out he tells her, " Your fired Geet!" Geet's head snaps up. " Because you are late and I hate unpunctual and slacking employees" and then leaves.
Vicky couldn't believe that Geet could do this. Maybe this was all a misunderstanding and Maan should at least here Geet out although he couldn't see any possibility, but his heart couldn't believe Geet, who was like his own sister, could do this. Finally Vicky also just follows Maan out.
Romeo: Geet what just happened? What have you done that he is acting like this?
Geet falls on her knees it was as if her world was slipping away from her very own fingers.
It really hurt Romeo seeing her in this condition.
Romeo: You love him don't you?
Geet was still just looking up in the air expressionless and numb.
Romeo grabs geet and makes her stand.
Romeo: Toh phir jao! Fix this mess Geet! Don't let him slip away from your life Geet!
Romeo almost pushes geet to go. Geet realizing the truth of these words started to run as if her life was on the line. She was not gonna let history repeat itself. She was not gonna let another person walk out of her life like this! Not again...

" betrayer . . . matlab dhokebaaz?" So you are agreeing that we were in a relationship? Geet smiles but then blurts out "Please tell me because the last time I remember you told me to forget we were ever friends and that we ever met!" spitting out in anger.
(Finally Maan and Geet will be face to face. . . Geet will not go anywhere till she gets her answers!)
