Part 16
It was first time in life Geet wished for death because she can't bear this pain. She stood up and walk aimlessly out of Khurana castle. No one stopped her or hold her back she walked where path was taking her. Pain was so much that she wanted to die. In time of almost one week Maan turned her life upside down. At first she was irritated by him then she was dazzled by him and at last she fell in love with him and then he married her, never for a moment she thought she have to live without Maan. She never imagined life with him.
She walked as tears spill out of her eyes. She wished her breath had stopped before she heard those heart tearing words. Her soul shattered as words circled her mind. She wished her soul is pulled out of her body than to bear this pain.
Geet stopped at the edge of cliff to decide her future. One step ahead and she will be free of all pain, one step ahead she will in his arms forever and one step back she will burn in the hell of pain, one step back and she will live in darkness. She looked at the dark merciless sky for answer but instead of answer the shower of sky was opened. She closed her eyes in search of answer and all memories of Maan played in her mind. Their first meeting and first kiss, their second meeting in mall where Maan proposed her and their third meeting where he kidnapped her, whenever she tried to escape he always caught her, he loves her limitless.
His words echo in her mind and her painful decision took shape. Tears follow out of her eyes mixed with rain as she remembered that beautiful moment.
"Maan! What's your dream?" Geet asked him with wide smile.
Before Maan could answer Geet said "Wait let me guess!"
Maan waited for her answer "You want to marry me!" replied Geet with satisfaction.
"No!" replied Maan and sadness took over Geet face. Maan took Geet in his lap and hold her from her waist.
"No Geet! It's not a dream, its reality!" he told her with smile.
Geet smile with happiness exploding from her after his reply.
"Then what's your dream?" asked Geet holding his face.
"I want to fill broken people's life with hope Geet" he said and closed his eyes and sighed.
"Your dream is my dream now!" said Geet as she moved her hand through his hairs.
She told Maan that his dream was her and if Maan is not there to fulfill his dream Geet will do it for him.
She took step back painfully and walked back to Khurana castle with determination. She wiped her tears with back of her hand and promised herself that she will not cry in front of anyone.
Geet walked inside the Khurana castle with confidence and she found Adi standing in the ground with tears in his eyes. It's look like Adi had talk to Arjun Bajwa and came to know about Maan's death but she ignored the emotions. She walked to Adi and said with authority "Adi, I want you to arrange meeting at Hope tomorrow morning for me, till I found Maan's body we are not declaring his'." Geet wasn't able death.
"Adi! Send our best men to look for Maan" she ordered him in emotionless tone.
"Yes Ma'am" he said.
"Anything else Ma'am" he asked with respect.
"Not now!" she said and walked away.
Geet entered their dark lifeless room and more pain filled her. For first time in her life she wasn't afraid of darkness or loneness. She closed the door behind her and slowly peel off her clothes and she opened and took Maan's shirt out and wear it.
She went on lay on bed and found herself surrounded by coldness. Only thing warm in her life was his memories. Tears were spilling from her eyes as beautiful memories played in her mind.
She spent all night in memories and never for a moment had sleep touched her eyes. When sun rays entered through curtains she got up and changed her dress and set her hairs and went to meet Adi.
Adi was waiting for her as he saw her he greeted her with respect she just acknowledged it with eyes.
Adi notice that Geet was wearing Maan sir's shirt and ladies jeans her hairs barely looked combed and there was dark circle beneath her eyes it looked like she had slept for a second.
"Ma'am, our best men are looking for Maan sir, at this moment they are only able to found his gun" informed Adi and took out Maan's gun.
Geet took gun from Adi's hand and looked it for a moment then put it at the back of her pant. Throughout the exchange of gun there was no emotion on Geet face it was completely blank. However her eyes were filled with tears but somehow she hold those tears from flowing out.
"Ma'am car is waiting for you outside" informed Adi.
"Let's go!" Geet said and started to walk.
"Ma'am! Breakfast?" asked Adi.
"I am not hungry!" said Geet and walked out of house.
Almost after forty five minutes they reached Hope, as per Geet orders everyone was waiting for her in meeting hall. She entered the hall and everyone fell silent. Memories from last time were circling her mind. Last time she walked in this hall with Maan and he announced her as his wife and co owner of Hope. Once again tears pooled in her eyes and like last time she manage to keep them inside.
She climbed on stage and walked to the podium and said without any emotions in her voice with blank face "Good morning! I hope you and your families are doing great and I am sure all of you are busy lighting hope in someone life and I wish you all best of luck for your tasks! However today I am here to inform you Maan singh Khurana is sick and can't come to Hope for few day, I Mrs. Geet Maan Singh Khurana, from this moment onwards will be taking care of Hope till Maan come back, Maan words will be mine, his decision will be mine, his vision will be mine, his mission will be mine and I am sure you all will cooperate with me like you cooperate with him, thank you everyone for your time, you all can proceed back to your jobs now, thank you once again"
As she ended her speech she walked out of meeting hall and went to Maan's office and closed door behind her.
She can't keep tears inside her eyes, that's why she needed a moment alone. As she closed the door she lift barrier from her eyes and tears flooded out of her eyes.
She hit the ground and tried to hold her but pain was so much that she wasn't able to. She let tears flow freely after few seconds she took out Maan's gun from the back of her pants and kissed it. She looked up with tearful eyes and begged "Maan, please come back! I can't live without you"
She got up and went to Maan's table, she touched his chair and more tears spill out of her eyes.
She sat on his chair with tears flowing out she looked at his table and saw their picture from their documented wedding day Geet in white and Maan in black. She closed her eyes in hope that pain vanish away. Moment later she heard deep male voice saying "Well listeners this is song for those whoes love ones are away, hope all your love come back to you soon, enjoy To phir aaooo"

The song explains her condition it looked like the words took out of her mouth and turned into song. More tears flowed out. Seconds later she heard Adi scolding someone. She walked to window and saw Adi was scolding old gardener "Mali baba! Please turn this thing off, Maan sir is sick and Ma'am is not feeling too well please turn of this non sense"
"Sorry! Adi baba I didn't know that, I will not happen again" apologized the old man and turn off his radio which he was carrying with him and restarted doing his work.
Geet wiped her tears but before she could decide next step there was gentle knock on the door. She cleared her throat and permitted. Next second door opened and man entered, he was wearing black suit and hat and there was bouquet of flowers in his hand.
He raised his head and Geet remembered who he was, Arjun Bajwa whom she had beaten badly in collage year back because he tried to kiss her.
He looked at Geet for moment and disappointment took over his face but he recovered from it within second and placed the flowers on table and said "I am here to convey my hearty apologizes over your loss Mrs. Khurana"
"I pray to God that Mr. Maan singh Khurana rest in peace and his widow don't repeat his mistake"
Geet looked at him with hatred and disgust.
"I hope you give me good news!" he said with smile.
More looked disgust and hatred appeared over her face.
She closed her eyes for moment to control sea of emotions that flow within her. She was filled with many emotions pain, sadness, loneliness, disgust and hatred but she controlled them and opened her eyes and asked with blank expression "I heard you had young brother?"
"Yes!" he agreed with smile.
"One morning you wake up and found that someone killed him what will you do?" she asked him with black expression.
"I will kill him! I will hang him till he die, I will break his each and every bone of his" he said fuming with anger.
She looked at him with pity and said "After little while you found out that, he was drunk driving"
He looked at her with shock, she smiled heartlessly and said with confidence "We are going to do same with you as you suggested"
"Take your case back!" he yelled with rage and authority.
"That will never happen!" she said with confidence.
"Don't make same mistake your husband did, or you will end up with him" he warned her.
"Don't fly too high Bajwa, anyway I assure you that I will be fine and you only need to worry for yourself" said Geet emotionlessly.
"You don't know what you are doing Geet! You will end up in pain and trouble" he yelled at her.
"Thanks for your concern, but I can take care of myself" she assured him.
Before he could say more she said in final tone "You take care of yourself and I will see you soon.
He looked at her and then walked towards the door. Geet informed with confidence and without any respect "Bajwa! Get ready your worst time starts now"
He turned back and looked at her with surprise that change into anger without any word he left her room.
After Arjun Bajwa left the room Geet picked the phone and call Adi, after few second Adi entered inside the room and asked "How may I help you Ma'am?"
"Adi I want you to call all of our best lawyer for meeting in next ten minutes and then get files of all the cases I need to see which one need my attention first after Arjun Bajwa case" ordered Geet.
Within ten minutes as ordered Adi had arranged the meeting. Geet looked at all the lawyers for moment than she ordered "I want you to search about Arjun Bajwa, I need to about list of his crimes and I want him in jail, I want all of your work on my table by the end of day" after saying that she went back to her office.
She picked Maan's picture and stream of tears broke out of her eyes. She touched Maan's face and promised "I will make him bleed Maan, I will make his life living hell, I will gift him so much pain that he will beg for death"
She hugged his picture and kept on crying till her tears dried out of her eyes.
There was knock on the door due to which she snap out of pain, she got up and wipe her tears away and said "Come in"
Moment later Adi stepped inside the office with his hands full of files. He put all the files on the table and asked "anything else Ma'am?"
"No that will be all" she told him.
She spent rest the day with files and didn't talk to anyone once Adi came to ask about lunch but she said "No"
About six in the evening all the lawyer returned back with report and after that Geet went to meet Arjun Bajwa. Nearly ten she returned back to Khurana castle and went straight to her room. She picked Maan's picture and tears rolled out of her eyes.
She kissed his lips and looked up then begged "Please give me my Maan back, please give me my life back, it is so hard to live without him, if you can't give him back please take my breath away, gift me death, I don't want this life without him, I don't want these breath without him, I don't want this heartbeat without him, I don't want to live anymore"
She hugged the picture and kept on crying and she doesn't know when she fell asleep but she hoped that she could see Maan in her dreams at least.

Bano Maa entered the big castle with this guy with glasses. Bano Maa even don't remember her last name herself, since the day she came to Rahul's house as Geet caretaker that day her last name was changed Maa. Geet had been daughter to her and she never let her away from her this time she went away and she met with pain.
Bano Maa looked around and noticed that castle was as Geet want to live in. It looked like yesterday when Bano was oiling tiny Geet hairs and she told her "Bano Maa I want a prince who will take me away and I live in castle with him happily ever after" Bano laughed and said "Yes! Soon prince will swipe off feet and take you away from everyone and then you both will leave happily ever after, but don't forget your Bano Maa Geet baby"
Geet hugged her and said "Your Geet baby can never forget you!"
Bano today came with this funny guy with glasses who had delivered had worst news. Today morning after Bano had breakfast, Ramo the gate keeper came and said that there is someone to see her.
Then this funny looking guy with glasses came to see her and said "Ma'am I am Adi Maan Sir and Geet Ma'am's assistant and I am here to take you with me because Geet Ma'am is not okay!"
"What happen to Geet?" she asked him with tension in her voice.
"She is not okay, Maan Sir hurt her" he said with pain in his voice.
"Where is this Maan? I am going to kill him" informed Bano Maa and moved towards Gate.
"Ma'am you can't do anything to Maan sir!" said Adi.
"Don't tell me what I can or what I can't do to your Maan Sir" warned Bano with anger.
"Ma'am listen to me before jumping to any action" requested Adi.
Bano waited for him to explain.
"Maan Sir married Geet Ma'am, then next day'." Before Adi could continue Bano moved towards wall and took sword in her hand and walked towards the door.
"Ma'am you can't kill him, he died next day!" said Adi with pain filled voice.
Next moment the sword hit the ground and without another word she waited for Adi to move. Adi walked out Bano followed him with tears in her eyes.
Bano walked towards Geet room while Adi filled her with Geet's condition. "Ma'am she is like living dead body, she is emotionless and she turned into stone after that news, she live alone all the time, she is fulfilling all Maan Sir Duties and dreams but she died alone with him. It had been three days she had barely ate or slept she had created walls around herself and separated herself from world"
As they reached the room Adi respectfully informed "Ma'am this is Geet Ma'am's room" and walked away.
Bano gathered her courage and opened the door and hit by shock. The room was filled with darkness, looked like pain had took over her fear. Moment later she heard soft sobs and she recognized it was voice of her Geet baby.
She walked towards Geet baby as her eyes adjusted with darkness and she saw Geet was curled on floor in gent's shirt. She was hugging picture close to her and tears had pooled near the floor.
Tears started to flow out of her eyes but she wiped them and called "Geet Baby!"
She looked at her with blood red eyes and hugged her and started to cry uncontrollably.
"Bano Maa, please take me to Maan, Bano Maa I can't live without him, Bano
Maa please" she cried for while and got tired and fell asleep. Bano put her Geet Baby in bed and cover her with comforter and turned on the lights to see who this Maan was.
She took picture from Geet's arms and saw, Maan was handsome guy and there was attractive smile over his lips, there was something about that guy which creates invisible relationship with him.
She put picture beside Geet baby and walked out of room to know more about Maan Singh Khurana and Geet relationship.
