Maria followed Geet as she climbs downstairs. All eyes were set on Geet which irritate her but she cant blame them because today was the first time they are honored to see their future queen. All the cameras were banned inside the palace because of high security reason only one royal camera man was allowed inside that footage will be given to rest of T.V. channels after engagement ceremony.

All eyes were focused on her except one pair of eyes which busy looking somewhere else. That was the person who captured Geet's attention. He was tall with broad chest and shoulders. He has light stubble on his face which was making him look more attractive. There was light frown on his face.

Maan got feeling that someone was staring at him that was what made him look at her and he was hit by shock. He has seen many girls in his life but he has never seen this combination before. She was deadly combination of innocence and beauty. She was not looking like princess at all she was looking like angel descending from heaven.

Some one pushed Maan from behind and that force him to look away from her. His eyes all of sudden fell on the glass that was on the opposite wall and that was when he realize he saw man holding rifle in his hand and fixing his target. Without thinking he pushed guest in front aside and ran towards princess at full speed.

He pushed princess aside and was hit by bullet from behind in his shoulder and that cause him great pain and due to which he fell over the princess. As soon as he looked in her drowning deep brown eyes he forgot his pain and the place where he is.

She just reached last step and hardly took to step when she was pushed by a same guy who was ignoring her. She was about to scream when she saw him hit by bullet. Although the there was not sound of gun yet she saw it entering his shoulder and blood pouring out. He fell over her and she look in his warm brown eyes which was filled life, adventure and so much more.

They were encircled by rest of body guards Maan stood up and carried princess in his arms. He went upstairs with princess in his arms escorted by rest of body guards. He put her down when they reach in front of princess room.

She wanted to say thank you to him but she was pulled inside by Maria and rest of her maids.

She was angry on this one person because of whom her life turns into mess from birth. Brij Handa who is son of very far relative because of royal family line his family consider him royal heir and he can only be king if Geet is dead and because of him she was prisoner in her own house and force to marry Dev.

She needs to stop this, she need to take action now because if she remains silence for one thing or other she will be forced because of him. She need to speak for herself first than she will handle this brij problem.

With her final decision she walked out of room and stopped by Maria in front of grandma's room.

"How may I help you princess?" she asked with sugar coated tone.

"There is nothing for you to do; I need to speak to grandma alone"

"She is busy with state's affair and rescheduling your engagement" she answered in same sugary tone.

"I need to speak to her now!" she said a little loudly.

"Sure!" she said opening door and let her in.

"She will be with you in moment!" she informed Geet and close the door.

Geet waited for her grandma and after few minuets she arrived.

"What was the hurry Geet dear? I didn't see the sky falling!" asked Grandma ex Queen Mrs. Savitri Handa.

"It's more important than sky falling, I am not going to marry Dev!" informed Geet confidence and respect.

"Not again, we have discussed it Geet you are marrying Dev, you know the reasons, you are doing this for your country, if something happen to you crown will be gifted to Brij and it will be destruction of our country and people, they are only interested power and money, they will ruin our country and people, you have to be crowned as Queen soon and that can only happen if you are married by law and there is no other better suitor for you at the moment" said grandma queen with little irritation.

"Dev is not nice person!" said Geet with determination.

"Geet! we are not discussing it again you are marrying Dev end of story!" said grandma queen and walk towards door she stop at the door and informed "Geet your engagement is reschedule for tomorrow."

After her final announcement she walks out of room leaving Geet behind alone.

Geet didn't cry this time instead she thought with confidence "Grandma I am your daughter and I am new and improve form of you and I will not marry Dev even if he is last person earth!" she smiled to herself and left for her room and when she reach her room she order her maid to leave her alone.

As soon as she enters inside her room closing she the door behind her and locked it. Sweet smile touch her lips and she said to herself "it is time to put my plan in action!"

Maan walk out of palace cursing himself once again. His shoulder was aching very badly. He was force to smile when king was praising his skills and bravery. King announced that Maan will receive medal for bravery and many other awards. Maan had questioned himself for hundredth time after the saving incident "why he saved princess?, he was suppose to let her die!" but no answer came to him,

He drives out of city for almost half an hour and reach to meet another so called client. As he enter lair of Brij he curse his luck. His late foster father, his mentor and his only friend in the world was under debt of Brij before his death due to which he was force to accept this contract. If he only killed princess he will be free from all debt forever else they will hunt him till death.

Dead of princess was his ticket to life and freedom. Brij choose him because of his skills and intelligence.

As he enters inside the room Brij said "I heard princess is still alive?"

Maan looked at Brij with anger and said "I like to do my work on my own without anyone's interference!"

Brij remained silence and Maan asked him "why you send shooter to kill princess when I was there don't you trust me?"

"I send him in case you fail!"

"Well you should have informed me then because of your one wrong decision I end up saving her!" informed Maan fuming.

Before Brij could say anything Maan warned him "Stay away from my work, princess will be dead in next twenty four hours, after that we wont meet each other again!"

After giving final warning Maan left Brij lair.

As soon as Maan left Brij called Arjun his most trusted man and instructed him "Finish him as soon as he done his job!"
