My knight in Shining armor (Part 1)
It was one the most memorable night for the people of State of Delhi as today their princess was getting engage to son of general of army Dev Roy. Whole nation was celebrating and each corner of the country was decorated with lights. There was music, laughter and happiness in the air. All pairs of eyes were stuck to TV. screen and waiting anxiously to witness another great moment of history.
Handa palace was where the event is about to happen. It was decorated with beautiful twinkling lights, flowers of rare kinds and candles that was not only illuminating surrounding but filled the atmosphere with their sweet light scent. Palace was filled with soft music and laughter of royal guests from allover the world. Guests were high ups of the country and international delegations. They all are here to be the part of one of the most memorable part of the history. They all are here to witness the engagement of "Princess Geet Handa"
Between all the happily chattering guests there was one young man standing near the table with fake smile curve on his lips.
Maan was cursing himself for the hundredth time today for his stupid decision. Why did he agree with king on his stupid offer. He was one of the best undercover agent of the country who had killed many criminals and solved many cases but today here he was stuck in castle because of kings silly offer.
He looked around and saw people chatting with each other. Women are busy backbiting about each other while holding their wine glasses and taking small sips. While on the other hand men were discussing politics and their latest business deals. All young ladies are busy drooling over him mostly he like their attention but today their attention was irritating him because of his bad mood. More over he don't flirt with girls when he is on job and today he was doing one of the most boring job. He took job of undercover agent over others because it is full of unexpected twist, adventures and hot gales to entertain at night not to baby sit princess. It has almost two hours he was standing here with fake smile for princess who was busy getting ready for her happily ever after. Yes Disney princess was getting ready to meet her love and all the public is getting nuts over it Maan thought rolling his eyes. He want this moment to get over soon, he want princess to come downstairs soon exchange rings and get over with her happily ever after and Maan can get back to his life.
Happily ever after that was phrase that was associated with life of Geet, which was one big lie. There was nothing happy about her life. Yes she was princess and many girls will kill to have her life but when you actually have to live it, it is very painful life. Geet was waiting in her room for Maria to inform her when to go downstairs for stupid royal ceremony.
Geet use to read all the princess stories when she was little and they all sound very lovely but as she grow up she found out bitter realities. Princess life is not what it look from outside, in truth it is painful and suffocating life.
Geet knows if story is written about her it won't exceed more than half page. "Once upon a time there was a king and queen of Delhi and they were blessed with baby girl name Geet. They were very happy but due to some medical issues queen can't give birth to another child because of which Geet become focus of their all attention. From the very beginning they start her preparing for the future queen and no one was in mood to listen to her wishes. Because she is only heir left she was over protected and because of the order of her grandma queen she was forbid to even go out of palace walls. When she turned 18 her royal family found a suitor for her and announced her engagement followed by her wedding in two weeks. Yes she was the unlucky girl who was bound to marry Dev Roy the son of army general. Other than him no one fit her royal family demands, he was rich with and part of government. But Geet know him better than that he was bloody womanizer, while Geet will be busy taking care of crown he will be busy f**king every maid in the palace. Moreover along with all the maids in his pocket he will have princess to add in his collection.
Sad smile appear on Geet lips after remembering her story of life. Tears welled up in her eyes but somehow she stops them from flowing out of her eyes.
Her thoughts were interrupted by Maria, "We are ready for you princess!" she informed her with sweet smile.
Geet gave her smile and follow her. She put the best fake smile on her lips, "fake smile was her first royal lesson on how to be good princess 101!" and Geet was best student and no one give fake smile as best as her.
She was walking from one prison to other and this is life time prison. She want run away and never return back but chains of royalty force her to walk forward only. She close her eyes and prayed for a miracle not knowing that what she asked for she is going to get in few minutes.to be continue...đ
