Part 18

Maan saved her from falling.He cupped her face and wiped her tears with his thumb.She lightly hugged him.When she felt something on the back of her hand.She was shocked to see a drop of blood.She looked at him and saw his bleeding forehead.She quickly took him to the bedroom and indicated him to sit on the bed.She immediately brought first aid box and applied bandage on his forehead.He closed his eyes.She thought that he was feeling pain but he closed his eyes because he wanted to cherish that moment.

Geet(Worriedly):Bohat dard ho raha hai.

Maan nodded in negative.His mobile started to ring.He stood up from the bed and attended the call.After that he started to do packing.

Geet(Questioningly):Aap kahan ja rahe hain??

Maan:Haan mere canada main kuch meetings hain.Shayad one month tak wapis aao.

Maan looked at her.He could guess that she was worried.

Maan(Looked at her):Don't worry tum akele nahi ho ge.Woh meray saath adi ja raha hai tu maine isse kha diya tha ka pinky yahan rah le jab tak main wapis na aao.

There was a missed call on his mobile.

Maan(Quickly):Main chalta hoon maine adi ko kaha tha jab ghar ka pas pohanch jao tu call kar dena.

Maan quickly went downstairs.Geet followed him.He stopped at the door.He couldnot control himself and came to geet and kissed her forehead while closing his eyes.

Maan(Whispered with teary eyes):Takecare of yourself and remember that ... I will always love you.

He quickly went towards main gate.Pinky came and hugged geet while geet was looking at maan who kept on staring at her till the car vanished.Many days went,Geet was feeling unsafe even though pinky was with her.She knew why she was feeling insecure and incomplete but she was not admitting it.On sunday morning,pinky went to her dad's home because he was very sick.Pari the new teacher in orphan house was friend of geet.She convinced geet to go to night club with her in night.In the evening,Geet was missing maan.

Geet(Thinking Angrily):Maan ne aik dafa bhi mujhe call nahi kiya.Main hi pagaloon ke tara inhe miss kar rahe hoon.

She slept so that she would look fresh for the night.

Geet put her head in her mother's lap.

Usha:Geet kab tak tum apne aapse larte raho ge mann kyu nahi lete ka tum maan se pyar karte ho.Mujhe nahi pata tha tum isse tab se pasand karte thi jab se tumne isse dekha tha.Per jab dev ka proposal aaya tu tumne mere waja se haan kar de.Main ache tara se jante hoon ka tum maan ka pyar per farz aur nafrat ko kyu prefer karte ho.

Geet(Crying):Mujhe maan se pyar nahi karna.Mujhe kisse se bhi pyar nahi karna...

Usha(Wiped her tears):Ro mat beta.Tumhi apne andaar ka iss daar ko nikalna hoga.Tum kab tak maan aur khud ko dard do ge.Aisa sochna band karo ka tum jis se pyar karte ho woh maar jata hai.Aisa nahi hota beta.Maan aur apne pyar per trust karo.Apne pyar ko aik aur moka do.

Geet waked.Her mobile rang.She smiled when she saw maan's number on the screen.She quickly attended the call.

Geet(Excited);Maan aap jaldi se aa jao.Main aap se bohat p...

Sameera:Main sameera bol rahe hoon.Actually maan busy tha tu iss ne kaha ka main tumhi call karke baata doon ka woh shayad two three days main wapis aaye ga.

Geet angrily cut the call.

Geet(Looking up):Dekha aap ne woh itne BUSY hain ka mujh se BAAT nahi kar sakte.

Then she remembered that she had to go to night club.She quickly changed her dress.Pari came and then they went to night club.

Geet in anger drank many glasses of alcoholic drink while Pari told her that she had to go back home because of her brother.Pari promised geet that she would call geet's driver to pick geet up.Then Pari left,A guy came to geet.

Guy:Hi!Would you like to dance with me?

Geet(Drunk):No,I'm here with my friend.

Guy(Flirting):I'm also your friend.

Geet(Softly):Really! Ok lets dance but where is pari?

He took her to the dance floor.He was looking at her with lust.He was about to touch her when someone held his hand.

Maan(Angrily):Don't you dare touch my wife!

The guy quickly walked away.

Maan(Gripped geet's arm):Ghar chalo geet.

Geet(Made face);Nahi mujhe meray friend ka saath dance karna hai.

Maan tried to make her understand but she was not coming with him.Maan got angry and picked her up like a sack.

Geet(Singing);Main chali banka hawa Rabba mere mainu bacha

Maan put her down infront of car.

Geet(moving around him):Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main,Zara Sa Ghoom Loon Main...

Maan(Angrily):Chup bilkul chup,Tumhi pata hai main kitna pareshan ho gaya tha jab tum mujhe ghar per nazar nahi aaye.Tumhare waja se maine canada main sara kaam jaldi se khatam kiya ta ke main tumhare pas aa sakoon.Woh tu shukar hai Pari ne phone kiya tu mujhe pata chala tum yahan ho.

Geet put finger on her lips while tears started to fall from her eyes.Maan saw her tears and his anger vanished.He wiped her tears and opened the car door for her to sit then he started the car.She hugged him.He hugged her with one arm while driving with other.

They reached home.Maan opened geet's door.She extended her arms.Maan nodded his head at her childish act.Then he picked her up and took her to the bedroom and put her on the bed.He went to the cupboard and picked her dress and gave her to change the dress while he opened his shirt.He was about to wear his shirt when a pair of arms hugged him from the back.

Geet(Kissed him on shoulder):I missed you too much.

Maan(Closed his eyes):I missed you too...Acha ab tum ja kar change karlo.

Maan was about to go to washroom when she came infront of him.

Geet(Blushed):I really love ...

She looked at maan and kissed him on lips.Maan's eyes were wide open.He didnot know how to respond.He didnot want to take advantage of her drunken stage nor he wanted to hurt her by pushing her away.He stood there without responding.After few seconds,he couldnot control himself and kissed her back.Due to his sudden response,Geet couldnot balance herself and they fall on bed.Maan kissed her on her forehead,her cheeks.His hands were roaming on her back.
