Daadi enters maans room and finds maan is still sleeping so she goes up to him to wake him up

Daadi: maan bete uthiye subha hogaye hai

Maan: Daadi bus thori der aur

Daadi: Maan chaliye bohot hogaya uthiye

Maan had to get up knowing that his daadi wouldn't let him sleep any longer so he slowly got up and stretched his arms and greeted daadi.

Maan: Good Morning Daadi ma

Daadi: Good Morning beta

Maan got up and touched daadi mas feet for blessing

Daadi: jeetey rahiye

Maan: Daadi ma app chaliye main abhi fresh hoke aata hoon

Daadi: theekh hai beta jaldi aaye ga

Daadi made her way downstairs towards the hall and found geet walking into the house.

Daadi: arre geet beta aaye kaise hain aap

Geet went up to daadi and took blessing from her

Geet: main theekh hoon daadi ma aap kaise hain

Daadi: main bhi bilkul theekh hoon

Geet: acha daadi ma woh saru uth gaya hai kya?

Daadi: kaun maan?

Geet: haan dadi ab iss ghar mein aur kaun saru ho sakta hai

Daadi chuckles and say: haan bete woh bus abhi uthe hain

Geet: acha toh dadi ma bataye kya help karu main aapki tyaariyon mein

Daadi: saara kam toh ho gaya hai, tum bas apne saru ke liye nashta bana dena If you don't mind, which im sure you don't, actually mein thori der ke liye baar jaa rahi hoon mujhe mandir jana hai aur baki sab bhi preparations main busy hain.

Geet: ofcourse daadi main bana doon gi, waise annie abhi uthi hai kya?

Annie made her way down from the grand staircases, she was wearing a white knee length dress, her dressing style was one thing geet did not approve of, as she was complete opposite. Geet was wearing a pink anarkali suit with her hair open and was wearing a pair of jhumke.

Annie: main yahan hoon geet

Geet: yeh lijiye naam liya aur madam hazir

Daadi: acha aap dono mil ke nashta tyaar karo main aati hoon

Geet: jee dadi ma

Geet and Annie made their way to the kitchen to make breakfast. Geet started to make black coffee for maan whilst Annie made tea for herself and geet.

Maan was ready and was making his way down stairs to the dining room when he saw all the arrangements that were going on, and it looked like there was going to be a very grand party, he just rolled his eyes and smiled remembering what he had told daadi ma

Flash back

Maan: daadi ma please don't make too much of a fuss about my birthday

Daadi: but maan it's your 18^th birthday, it should be special for you

Maan: I understand daadi ma, but you know I don't like grand parties

Daadi: maan sach meh, geet sahi kehti hai aap bilkul saru hai

Maan: Daadi ma!

End of flash back

Maan (self-thought): daadi ma bhi na, apni baat par hi arri rehete hain

Geet: arre aagaye hamare shehzaade, and how are you doing this fine morning?

Maan was about to say something when he sneezes, which reminded him of last night incidents.

Maan: geet just be quiet I think you done enough damage, can you believe it annie on my own birthday I have a cold.

Annie: arre bhai yeh kaise hua?

Maan: apni pyaari si saheli se puch

Geet also sneezes and says: annie sirf yeh hi bimar nahi hai I also have a cold

Annie: but how and that too at the same time, im confused. Kal baarish hui thi kya?

Geet looked at maan and saw he was clearly not amused by this; she would have made it up to him if he hadn't done the same, so to be honest it was equal already.

Geet: nahi yaar lekin kisi koh bheekne ka shok char gaya tha kal

Maan just glared whilst geet just giggled along with Annie

Annie: now seriously tell me geet this was one of your mischiefs right?

Geet: arre saare ilzaam mujhe par kyun laga rahi ho, iss saru ki bhi galti thi

Maan: kya meri galti, pehle kisne shuru kiya maine ya tumne?

Geet: lekin tumne phir mujhe wapas kyun kya?

Geet and maan were just arguing away whilst annie was just standing there completely confused, but when she heard 'last night' she became completely alert and thought something was definitely fishy.

Annie: EIK MINUTE! Annie shouted as loud as she could so she could get their attention and when she did she mentally gave herself a pat at the back.

Annie: what do you mean by last night?

Geet and maan looked at each other with a look which said 'we are so dead', they were so busy arguing they totally forgot that Annie was standing right there.

Geet: annie kya keh rahi hai tu 'last night' kisne kaha?

Maan: haan, you know what you're hearing things, we should take you to the doctor to get you checked, haina geet?

Geet: yeah you're right maan actually I've heard that this is a very rare disease and its very dangerous too we should take you to the doctors come one

Geet literally began pulling her toward the door, but Annie was definitely sure she heard that and she wasn't that stupid to believe the rubbish geet and maan came up with.

Annie: WAIT!, you guys really think I'm that dumb to believe all this?

Maan: well... Ummm

Annie: geet you don't know how to lie so please don't and bhai aap toh jhoot kabhi bolte hi nahin that's why you're not speaking at all am I right?

Maan: woh annie ...

Annie: uff will one of you please tell me otherwise I'll go tell daadi that you guys are hiding something

Maan: ok ok... geet will tell you

Geet: what! main kyun tum bolo na

Maan: acha who came up with this 'tradition'

Annie: what tradition, geet tu bata mujhe kya chal raha hai

Geet: ok fine I'll tell you, but you have to promise you wont tell anyone

Annie: I promise yaar, main kisi koh nahi bataoongi

Geet: teekh hai

Maan was trying to escape from there because he definitely didn't want to be there when Annie found out, she would never leave a chance to tease him

Geet saw maan was trying to escape but she wasn't going to go through this alone maan had to be here as well

Geet: aahhem... where do you think you're going mister?

Maan: who mujhe eik bohot zuroori kam yaad aagya

Geet: maan chup chap yahaan karhe raho mere saath

Maan: fine

Geet explained the whole tradition that they have been following for the past 4 years, and by the end of annie had her mouth completely open, shocked.
