Part 18

Its early in the morning..no one in the house is awake yet

Ved wakes up

She turns around and sees that Dhruv is fast asleep

Ved has no clue what to do now

Shes not feeling sleepy

Ved tries to wake up Dhruv

But he just wont wake up

She gets up and goes to the other side of the bed and ruffles dhruvs hair

She stares at him a while and decides that she wont wake him up

Ved goes and takes a shower

She gets ready

Shes wearing a red sari, red bangles, sindoor,mangelsutra and gold earings

After a while ved all ready

Now she decides to wake up Dhruv again

Ved: (sits next to him)Dhruv, uto(shakes his arms)

Dhruv: (mumbles) mama, muje thora aur der sone do

Ved laughs

Ved: DHRUV!!UTO!!!

Dhruv opens his eyes

He just stares at ved

Ved: aise kyun dek rahe ho?

Dhruv: tum bahut khoobsurat lag rahi ho

Ved: (blushes) Dhruv, (serious)tum ut rahe ho ya nahi?

Dhruv: (smiles) acha baba!(gets up and sits on bed next to ved)

Dhruv: (looks at ved) I love you,ved(puts his arm around her)

Ved: (faces him) I love you too Dhruv

Both hug

When someone knocks on the door

Ved quickly goes and opens it

Ved:arre, tara tum,

Tara walks right into the room

Tara: yep, main apni babhi ko good morning kehne aya hoon

Ved smiles

Dhruv: acha, bhaiya ko good morning nahi kaho gi?

Tara: nahi, main ap se thak gaya hoon, ab main sirf apne dono babhi ko good morning karonga.

Dhruv gets up to chase her but she runs out

Then Dhruv takes a shower and the couple go downstairs for breakfast.

Everyone was waiting

All start eating

Kavitha: beta, viren aur main buisiness ke silsilay main pune ja raha hoon. Kya tum sab ghar samal loge?

Rudra: haan mama, aap dono jao, hum sab hai na ghar ka kehyal rakne ki. By the way, aap ka flight kab hai?

Kavitha: aaj sham ko?

Rudra: teekh hai

After breakfast is over, viren and kavitha pack there clothes and leave the house cause the trip to the airport is a 4 hour drive.

Tara goes to her friends house

Its around 3 pm

Dhruv,ved,nih and rudra are sitting in the living room when someone calls.

Rudra picks up the phone and talks

After about 15 mins he puts the phone down

Dhruv: kon tha?

Rudra: mera ek dost tha, voh, nih aur muje aaj ek party ke invitaion diya.

Everyone sits down and talk for a while

Nih and rudra then go upstairs and get ready

They leave an hour later

Dhruv and ved are sitting in the garden in the backyard

Ved: Dhruv?

Dhruv: haan,

Ved: muje book lagi hai, main ja kar khana bana dethi hoon(gets up to leave)

Dhruv: (holds ger hand and pulls her back down) nahi, aaj hum koi restaurant chalte hai?

Ved: teekh hai

Both get ready and leave

Dhruv and ved eat at a couples resturant

Then both go to the beach

Dhruv: (puts his arm around her waist) ved, tumhe yaad hai jab hum dono pehli bar yaha par saath aye the

Ved: haan, thab main sochthi thi ki tum bahut cute ho

Dhruv: tho kya ab main cute nahi hoon???

Ved: nahi, ab tum tho bandar jaisa lagthe ho(laughs)

Dhruv: acha,(pulls her closer to him) tho tumne mujse shaadi kyun ki?

Ved: voh, main tho mama ke liya tumse shaadi ki!

Dhruv: (smiles) acha, tho agar tumhe mujse acha ladka mila tho tum muje chor kar usse shaadi karlogi?

Ved: (quickly puts a finger on his mouth) nahi Dhruv, tumse acha mere liye aur koi nahi hai!

Suddenly a voice comes from behind them

Guy: ved, Dhruv se hazaar bar acha main hoon!!!

Ved looks at the person

Its Suraj!!!!

Suraj walks towards them

Ved is really scared, Dhruv can sense it and holds her tight

Dhruv: (angry) tum yaha kya kar rahe ho???

Suraj: (annoyed) manin apni ved ko lene aya hoon

Dhruv: sayed tumhe patha nahi hai, humara shaadi ho chuka hai!

Suraj: (angrier) patha hai! Lekin agar tum iss duniya se chale jaoge tho ved ko mera hona hi parega(pulls out a gun)

Ved: suraj, plz, dhruv aur humhe akela chor do!

Dhruv quickly tries to knock off the gun from him

But to no avail

Both get into a fight for the gun

First Dhruv turns the guns point towards suraj

Suraj fights back trying to loosen dhruvs grip on it

Ved is really frightened

Suddenly theres a huge BLAST!!!!!!!the sound can be heard miles away

DID DHRUV GET SHOT OR SURAJ......OR NEITHER! WAIT AND SEE!

The gun shot was heard

Dhruv and Suraj are looking at the each other

They look down nothing

They see each other

They turn to Ved

And she's shocked!!!!

And she falls on the floor

Dhruv; VEDIKA???

She got shot!!!

Suraj is shocked!

Dhruv runs to her

He's saying her name over and over again!

Suraj comes to her too

Dhruv tells him to leave!!!

Dhruv carries her

ANd takes her to the hospital!!!

Suraj is like what just happened??

Vedika got shot??

Vedika is admitted

He's begging the docs to treat her right away

He says to calm down

They take her in!!!

Dhruv is worried now

Nih and Rudra

Leave the party

And come to the hospital

Nih is asking how is she?

Dhruv is like i dont know

NIh starts to cry

Rudra consoles her!!

She says sorry

Becuz he missed his friends party

Rudra is like this is more important!!!!!

Doc comes out

Dhruv asks the doc how is she?

Doc is like she's okay

But she wont be able to move her arm for about 10-12 weeks!!

They are shocked!...

Dhruv: Can i see her?

Doc: Yes!!!!

Dhruv comes in

Vedika is there helpless on the bed

He's sad

He starts to cry

Looks at her!!

And says her name

Nih is looking at her

She has never seen Ved like this!!

She has flashbacks when they were little and what not!

It will be a while til she opens her eyes

So they let her rest

Nih tells Dhruv to come

He doesnt want to leave her

But Rudra insists

Dhruv comes out

He's sitting right outside

He's thinking that Suraj will pay for this!!!

He's mad!!!

NExt thing you know

Suraj is coming

Dhruv sees

He is shocked!

Suraj is asking how is she?

Dhruv is like you are responsible for this!!!!...

He tells him to leave

He has no right to be here!!!

SUraj is likie please...

Dhruv is like no!!!!

Dhruv; Get out!!! LEave!! I SAID LEAVE!!

Suraj sees them

And he leaves!!!

Suraj is like Vedika is shot

And i am not even there

He;s like i should be there

Not him!!!

He gets all mad!!!
