I'm back.. So as I was saying, I agree that it is not Riddhima who completes Sid but Sid who completes Riddhima but the only reason most of us SR fans still look towards an SR ending is simply because Sid's love was too painfully beautiful and perfect an emotion to go unrequited.. Its the die hard optimists and romantics in us that refuse to believe that something so divine could go unrecognized.. What the CVs did to the story line was abominable.. What SR writers try to do is rectify a mistake that shouldn't have happened in the first place.. As SR writers, we chose not to believe what happened and weave a fantasy of our own.. As much as we hate Riddhima, we love the SR lovestory and magic and unfortunately, Riddhima is an integral part of it..

I understand that too Neet...Sid's love was too deep and soul touching and none of us could tolerated it that it had no value before Armaan's childish love...if you can call that love.That is why inspite of so much opposition, we held on strongly to SR and even after Riddhima's confused running between the two men we still supported and defended her only because Sid loved her...I even remember defending her when everyone was blaming her for being jealous of Armaan's closeness to Shilpa...later of course I realized I was wrong.
Even I was initially going to write a SR ff ...I had even started writing it but that tent episode truly tarnished the SR magic for me...

N the blame for all the pain that we feel should actually go to Karan Wahi coz its he who played the character of Siddhant Modi to such heart touching perfection that even months after the show going off air, we are still trying to make amends to the injustice metted out to his character...KW played that character with utmost maturity and it is sad how much he was bashed for it.

Zeeni : Yes I watch Gulaal...such a beautiful and subtle story. Lol I understand...that is why I have never even tried searching for Sid in other characters ... *sigh* no one can match up to him.
But yes I do find Kesar interesting.😳

I wanted to reply to your last post. I do get where your coming from about Sid and I do agree that he always had it in him to change. But I think the reason for him turning out to be the amazing person that he did become, was because of everything Ridhimma put him through in the 9 months that they were together. From making him believe she loved him to her eventual betrayal ,she used him. But despite it all he still loved her and was willing to take her back even after the tent incident!
Yes I get that Zeeni...but had it anyone else who had put him though the same thing, he would have still turned out to be so amazing...that just the thing. Deep down he always had a extraordinary heart even when he was a carefree brat...lol I think we are going to round and round with this discussion.😆

But I dont know if you watched his last scene in the show when he says goodbye to Ridhimma? (I refuse to include the pathetic dancing that he did with Armaan and the stupid thumbs up scene cos that was just the cv's desperate attempt to justify AR reunion.) My heart broke for Sid. He was shattered and broken but he left Ridhimma with a smile so she wouldnt feel bad...who would do that!!...yes I did see that scene.And the part where he hugs her for the last time and tears well up in his eyes was really unbearbale to watch. ...I stopped watching after Sid left...but when I was writing my FF i wanted to know a few things about CMG's end.So I watched all the scenes after his exit...and in one of the scenes I found Riddhima blaming her kismat again and one dialogue of hers drove me uo the wall. She says," Sid ne bhi mujhe chod diya." I really wanted to hurl something at the TV then...after everything she put him through, after knowing how much it pained him to leave her, she still had the never to say that...that is why for me she will never deserve him.

Eternalsiddhima: Your'e right...form what you know of Sid once he moves on from something, he will never turn back. That he will always love Riddhima and care for her and wish for her well being is obvious, but whether he would take her back after everything is doubtful...because accepting her back would mean bringing back that uncertainity back into his life...or maybe he would...who knows. But if he had a person who loved him as deeply as he loved Riddhima, then maybe he would go with saying that "you should be the one who loves you the most not with the one who you love the most."...

But say hypothetically that Sid had cheated on Riddhima (yes yes we know that could never happen but just for a second imagine that) then in that case Riddhima would have never forgiven Sid...she would have never accepted him back.

And this was totally unexpected!! I watched this American show called 'The Mentallist' last night, and there was a scene in there that completely threw me, and you've done the same to me today Neet.

Im guessing Armaan died. And as much as I hate him I wish with all my heart, its not him. Because the last thing I want is for Ridhimma to mourn for him forever and and for Sid to do the 'right thing' and marry her AGAIN!!

The only way I would want Ridhimma to EVER go back to Sid, is if she truly loves him and cant live without him, NOT because shes grateful to him like the first time ( I still dont know why she married him again of her own free will the second time...and if someone can tell me please let me know!).

Neet I totally agree with zeenia here. Sid better not marry that poor confused soul of a woman. I just hope that the person who died is Riddhima. How dare she accept the marriage proposal from Armaan even before Sid has made his dignified exit. She atleast owed him that much. It just makes me angry that both the eternal lovers never ever thought of what it would have been for Sid. That just makes me sick. So you better not pair up RIddhima and Sid again. Not unless she makes up to Sid big time. Sid deserves someone who loves him because he is a gem of a person and I definitely don't want Riddhima to end up with Sid because he is her next best option.

woahhh! everyone wants to see Riddhima dead!
hmm if that happens it will forever remain a grief in Sid's life.
And whatever i have seen in DMG SR has shared a way lot of moments for Riddhima to name it all farz! A part of her always knew Sid is the one but that part was subdued forcefully by a certain someone's constant interference! Riddhima re-married Sid because that's what she wanted and ahead knew it!
However a grave MISTAKE by her in the tent shook her altogether. Riddhima who knew Sid was the one started doubting her own beliefs because SOMEONE else was controlling her own beliefs. That guy took advantage of Riddhima's most vulnerable state to revive his forgotten love within her. I dont think he even succeeded in doing it. But what he managed to do is make her believe whatever happened in the tent happened because she still loved him!
her farz dialogue was to make that guy happy! it was more like a damage control!
and if that guy n everyone around her hadn't pushed her towards him, Riddhima wd ve never done what she did in the bb court in last episode!

What SR shared was so deep and intense neither of them will ever be able to share the same kind of bond with anyone else in their lifetime.

The fact that we all still have so much to say about Sid and SR just shows what an impact their story had on all of us.

And I think that I agree with Neet that the reason I write about SR is because what the cv's did with them at the end appalled and disgusted me so yes, I do weave a fantasy of how I wanted them to end up...but this is just how I feel. And for a few months the SR story was magical and soul searching which touched us deeply.

Sidra the last SR scene was heart wrenching and I simply did not have the heart to watch Sid after that! Though of course I have heard in detail what happened!

Ridhimma after that just did not exist for me!

And Sidra, Kesar is definately an intersting character and Kesar and Gulaal together are aweome. I hope they do proceed with their love story! It will be so different.

And I know you hate Ridhimma but i do hope one day you will write an SR FF cos I know it will be amazing!
