A Horrible Incident
She tries many times to stop a car for lift. As time passed cars passed by her but none of them stopped. After awhile the driver returned with the mechanic and told her that the car will have to be taken to the garage as it cannot be fixed here. Hearing this she got more frustrated and started to worry. She asked the driver how far the office is. He told her only 15-20 mins. So she starts walking on the road towards the office. She gets really tired but doesnt stop. She starts to walk slow when suddenly a car comes in fast speed and BAANNNGGG. She lies there on a lonely road, blood all over her. A man comes running out from the car, getting panicked. He quickly picks her up and puts her at the back of his car. He rushes her to the hospital and tells the receptionist that its an emergency. Seeing the condition of the pateint she quickly calls a senior doctor, Dr. Shubhankar and with him the encharge, Dr.Keerti. They quickly take Riddhima into ICU as a lot of blood was lost. After awhile Dr.Keerti comes out.
Dr.Keerti - u need to call her parents because we need to operate right now.
Guy -
But doctor I dont know their number
Dr.Keerti - I know her, I'll write it onto a paper, please call them quickly
Guy - yes doctor
After awhile Padma & Shashank arrive worried and confused to how all this happened. They came to the receptionist and asked about Riddhima. She pointed towards the ICU and tells them they cant go inside so they can sit somewhere and wait for a doctor to come out. Inside the ICU Dr.Shubhankar & Dr.Keerti are trying to stop the blood. Dr.Shubhankar tells Dr.Keerti to go outside and check if Padma & Shashank have arrived as Riddhima's condition is getting very critical and they need to operate right now otherwise -pause- u know what will happen. Dr.Keerti quickly heads out and sees Padma & Shashank sitting on the bench. She picks up a form from the front and a pen and walks towards them.
Dr.Keerti - Padma Shashank
Padma - Keerti, Kya hua meri bachi ko? woh theek toh haina ? (Padma cries a lot and Keerti hugs her and consoles her)
Dr.Keerti - Shashank yeh form tumhe sign karna hoga abhi, humein abhi operation start karna hoga warna ...
Padma - warna ? (and she starts crying even harder)
Shashank - Padma sambhalo apne apko, lao Keerti mein sign karta hoon
Dr.Keerti - Shashank isse pehle tum sign karo mein tumhe ek baat batana chachti hoon
Shashank - bolo Keerti
Dr.Keerti – dekho Shashank tum mere chote bhai ho isliye mujhey tumse kuch chupa na nahi hai, Riddhima ka khoon bohat beh chuka hai aur is operation mein shayad uski jaan .. (she stops there as she can't speak the truth)
Shashank gets shocked and the pen and paper fell out of his hand. Keerti puts her hand on his shoulder and tells him to calm down and sign the paper as the condition is getting critical every second. She picks up the paper and pen and hands them to him. She makes him sit down and explains to him that she might survive as there are more chances of her survival but he needs to sign quickly. Shashank signs the paper with trembling hands and prays to GOD that nothing happens to his daughter. Dr.Keerti heads back in the ICU and prepares for the operation. The guy comes up to Padma & Shashank and tries to apologize and explain the whole situation but Padma gets mad and slaps the guy. He doesn't say anything because he knows what she is going through. He tries to console her and makes her calm down.
~After a few hours ~
Dr.Keerti & Dr.Shubhankar come out of the ICU. They make their way to the three and tell them that Riddhima has survived. They tell Shashank to come with them to the office to sign some papers while Padma should stay outside. The guy decides to stay with Padma and support her but Padma refuses. Shashank explains to Padma and makes her agree. Shashank goes with Dr.Keerti & Dr.Shubhankar to their office.
~In the office~
Shashank – Kahan sign karna hai?
Dr.Shubhankar – Kahin nahi
Shashank – lekin aapne toh kaha tha ke kuch papers sign karne hain
Dr.Keerti – dekho Shashank humne Riddhima ki jaan toh bacha li hai lekin ..
Shashank – lekin kya ?
Dr.Shubhankar – Shashank who Riddhima (pause)
Dr.Keerti – coma mein hai
