in nupurs story, having an affair with someone like mayank was justified simply because her so called family wasnt totally her own even in her own mind. for gunjan, all the family thing made sense.

well here i will disagree, 😳 .
Nupur never mentioned her family when she refused mayank's proposal, all she said was "Mujhe saahi hai lagta", it was all about HER, her family wasn't involved anywhere, the first time she went with dinner and came home and couldn't tell her dadi that she was with mayank made her realize that this is wrong. Again at that moment also, she never said that what will happen to the prestige of this house, all she said was, "i won't do anything for which i will have to lie", for nupur it was all about HER own morals, HER own thinking , it was never the issue that she is alone so she should opt for an affair., and well for gunjan, it was her family before her own thinking.

and plus, just imagine the no of girls who are getting into an arranged marriage for family sake giving up a lifetime of trust and love for society s idea of correctness.

again this is something i will again want to disagree, i think arrange marriages have the highest success rate throughout the world, regardless of cultures and religions. Sacrificing love and getting married to someone else for family's sake is wrong, but then again, if ur family doesn't agrees, then will u run away?? NO!! so it's a jinx that no one can break, and so there is no choice but following it.

plus isnt it cheating if you love someone like mayank and are getting married to someone else like samrat ...even without trying to give it a shot.

hmmm, well here i agree,she very well knew she loved mayank, and still was ready for samrat, but if u again see the way i wrote, like it was just the first meeting, and her way got cleared just after that. Well this was fiction so nupur was lucky, but in real life, in the ambiance i am brought in, if u take my case, i would have never spoke up. It's wrong i know, but then again, it's real.

at a time when we girls ask for equality why is it mayanks responsibility alone to broach the topic of marriage? why didnt nupur talk to her ppl ?shy? no its more of the fear of being misjudged as ...
i never ask for equality, in fact i am no feminist who says that women are equal, women are weak, and i believe they are weak, they can't stand up for their rights, no matter how far we go, women will remain weak, i am sorry but as i don't believe that women are strong so u may never find this in my stories.

Nupur Bhushan of mjht fought tooth and nail to make her ppl understand , she didnt sit quiet and let mayank do all the difficult work. finally she chose her bauji, but she didnt leave mayank feeling he betrayed her because she made it so clear that it was a joint decision.
that is perhaps why shes so loved- she stood tall for her love. love for both her family and mayank.

Well Nupur of Mjht and Nupur of this FF are two entirely different girls, brought up in entirely different atmospheres with complete diverse personalities, so i don't think there is a comparisons, but as u said, that in MJHT she didn't leave mayank alone with the difficult work, so here again, in my story, mayank was not left alone, all he had to do was to ask his parents that he wants to get married to that girl, this is it! . and the difficult work was to accept nupur, to understand her, and there nupur didn't leave him alone, she made sure she expressed her love to him, she didn;t sit quiet and wait till for him to understand on his own. She fought for her love with him.


sorry kinza, u know i like ur stories and i liked this one also , but just wanted to say that we cant generalise in matters of the heart.so all affairs neednt be bad u know.

well i never said affairs are bad , but they were bad according to my characters, both gunjan and nupru thought it was wrong. I never passed a sweeping statement.
