A Maaneet Tale

Hey my lovely readers! I just wanted to let you know that this is the ENDING of 'The Plan' and I really very enjoyed doing this FF. In this update, I will be reuniting Maan and Geet forever and ending all the complications and misunderstandings.

I did say that Dev will be back but I decided that he wasn't needed in this FF anymore. At the end, I have wrote a summary of this FF to clear any confusions you might have. I have also wrote an Authors Note at the end which I require you to read 😊

Chapter 20

I felt like I needed fresh air so I decided to go out to the garden. I came to a standstill only when I saw Maan...

Cutting the grass.

"Maan" I said and he looked at me. He switched off the grass cutting machine and came up to me.

"What are you doing Maan? Nobody told you to do this!" I said and wiped his sweat off with my dubatta. He smiled back at me and shrugged.

Maan: "Teji told me to do it" he told me and I looked at the grass.

"I'll do the rest. Sit down" I said and dragged him to the bench. I made him sit down and I went up to the grass cutting machine. I started to cut the grass and once that was done, I watered the plants. I never knew this was so much work.

"Done" I said after about half an hour. I put my hands on my knees, panting in exhaustion. Maan came and handed me over some water.

"How long? How long do we have to keep doing this?" I said and wrapped my arms around him.

Maan: "Not long" he whispered and like a stupid child, believed him. We headed back inside the mansion and froze when we saw Adi.

What was Adi Sir doing here?

Maan: "Adi" he whispered and put his hand on his face to hid himself but Adi Sir already saw us.

"Maan Sir, this is an important file I need you to sign" he said and came towards us. I widened my eyes and smacked my head.

Maasi Ji: "Maan Sir?" she said in disbelief and looked at me for an explanation.

It was over.

All of it.

Maan held the file in his hands and looked at it blankly.

Adi: "Maan Sir, w-w-why are you dressed like that?" he asked

Just then, Lucky came towards us and chuckled slightly like he always does. He patted Maan's shoulder and then turned to see him at different angles.

Lucky: "I knew that he was too good to be true" he said and I looked up from my eyelids. I could see Teji's furious expression and Maasi Ji's expression of disbelief. Everyone looked at Maan and me for an explanation. I wanted to say something but I was paralyzed on the spot. Daadima and Nandani looked at us nervously.

"Woh..." I began to say but I didn't know what I even wanted to say. I decided to just tell them the truth.

"Balwant... Is Maan. He came back to win everybody's heart" I said in a low voice and fiddled with my dubatta nervously.

Maasi Ji: "So your the one who... Who made food for us yesterday?" she asked

Maan: "Uh... Yes"

Maasi Ji: "Your the one who just cut our lawn and watered our plants" she asked again

Maan: "Yes, Maasi Ji" he replied

Maasi Ji: "Your the one who put up our curtains that day?" she asked

Maan: "Yes"

Maasi Ji: "Your also the one who left your business and came here as a driver" she asked

Maan: "Yes... Yes I'm the one" he replied in a low voice and looked away.

There was sudden silence as we waited for Maasi Ji's reaction. I could feel my hands turn clammy and sweaty with nervousness.

Geet: "Nandani... And Daadima were also involved..." I trailed off and everybody turned to look at Daadima and Nandani. I could see Nandani turn slightly red on the cheeks.

Nandani: "Look, Jeeja Ji hasn't done anything wrong. Just because he left Geet alone doesn't mean it is his fault. Sameera was the one who tried to kill Geet. Not him. He didn't know that this was going to happen. Can we please just end this matter. Teji Veerji, please" she said in the end when Teji was about to approach Maan.

Nandani: "I only supported Jeeja Ji because he truely loved Geet. Which husband comes back to his OWN house as a driver? Which husband would make food in his OWN house? Which husband would do work in his OWN house? Which husband would do the gardening? Which husband Beeji? Please give me ONE valid point on why he should not stay" she said

Maasji Ji looked down at the ground and when she didn't say anything, Nandani spoke.

Nandani: "Exactly. So can we please end this?" she said and looked away when she was finished.

Maasi Ji: "Nandani has given a valid point and... I guess... I guess we should give him another chance" she announced and I felt like screaming with joy. Nandani and Daadima smiled, Maasi Ji also gave a faint smile, Maan and Lucky smiled at each other, Teji didn't look too happy but he still nodded in approval.

Maan entwined his fingers with mine. I squeezed his hand in reassurance and he squeezed back.

When Maan and me reached our bedroom, he pulled me towards him and twisted my hands behind my back with one hand. With his other hand, he closed and locked the door.

"What are you doing?" I asked and I felt the ground beneath me vanish as he lay me on the bed. I smiled and decided to tease him.

"I'm sure my husband Maan won't like this" I said when I realized his turban and fake mustache was still on.

Maan: "What do you mean?" he frowned and then realized what I was talking about. He took off his turban and flung it to the other side of the room. He took off his mustache and threw it away.

Maan: "Sorry but Balwant is gone. Now it's just you and me" he said and placed his hands on each side, completely trapping me. I put my hands on his chest and looked down shyly.

Maan: "I love you so much. I don't know what i'd do if you left --" I put my hand on his mouth and shook my head.

"Why are you thinking such stuff" I said and before he could say anything, I kissed him like we hadn't kissed in years. He pinned my wrists down against the bed and then showered me with kisses.

He trailed kisses along my collarbone and then bit the flesh at my shoulder desperately. I instantly unbuttoned his shirt and let my hands snake up his bare torso, and then around his neck.

His hands slowly slid up my chest and landed onto the knot on my back. With one single pull, the knot unknotted and my kameez instantly became loose.

I completely surrendered myself to him that night, promising myself to remember this night forever.

Summary

The story started off with Geet jobless, poor, and lonely. Geet used to live in Hoshiarpur but moved to Delhi due to her family's death. She decided to start afresh in Delhi.

So Geet searches everywhere in Delhi for a job, but get's rejected everywhere. Her last hope is Khurana Constructions. She goes in, meet's a nice person called Adi and immediately they become friends.

So Geet meets the boss who is called Maan Singh Khurana, a young, arrogant, angry young man. The cause of this was his ex girlfriend Sameera cheating on him just for money.

Geet shows Maan her experience file. She get's rejected once again but Maan tells her that she can be his secretary in only one condition.

Making Sameera jealous.

So it stars off on the very first day of work where he forcefully kisses her. Sameera see's this, and his horrified. This continues to go on for days when one day, Sameera insults Geet and tells Maan to shut up. Geet is very angry at this so she follows Sameera to her flat and see's her kissing another man. Her foot hits on the engagement ring which was abandoned right in front of her flat by a heartbroken Maan. Maan follow's Geet to Sameera's flat, and is once again heartbroken. He leaves the building.

Geet tries to find Maan but he has suddenly disappeared. Geet decides to look for him to next day. Geet finds Maan unattended at work the next day and finds out Maan's address by Adi. Geet goes to his house and is amazed by the beauty of his big mansion. Geet meets a beautiful, but old lady called Savitri Devi who is Maan's grandma. Geet finds out that due to Maan being out in the rain has fallen ill. So she takes care of him for a full day while Daadima runs some errands.

They both become closer while Geet take cares of Maan and prepares his favourite italian pasta. They become even closer when Geet snatches the file off Maan in his bedroom when he was supposed to be resting. He snatches the file back a bit vigourously which causes Geet to fall down on the bed. They have a Mahi moment and just then, Daadima comes back so Geet goes back home.

The next day, Geet was poisoned at work by Sameera. Once Maan finds this out, he was very angry at Sameera.

When Geet is better and returns at work, Maan tells Geet to organise an indian style party due to winning a 300 crore deal. Geet happily takes notes, and organises the party. A few hours later, Maan goes to see how the arrangements are going and is once again mesmerized by Geet's beauty. Geet accidentally falls off the ladder, Maan catches her and they have a Mahi moment once again.

Geet goes back to Khurana Constructions to collect her things and finds Pinky in her cabin. Geet tells Pinky that she does not have a good dress so Pinky helps her by lending her one of her beautiful brown Saree.

Geet wears the Saree, and arrives at the party. Maan his mesmerized by her beauty again and compliments her beauty for the first time since they met. They have a dance sequence to make Sameera jealous.

Geet meets her ex boyfriend Dev at the party and finds out that he was the one who killed their parents in a fire. Dev tries to assault Geet but Geet miraculously escapes. She goes back inside the building and see's Maan there who is completely shocked by her state.

Maan wonders what had happened to Geet and follows her to the washroom. He locks her in the disabled toilets when he hears some ladies coming in the washroom. He kisses her and knew a man had already kissed her. Since Geet was very frightened, Maan decided to give Geet some time so she could tell Maan the story in her own time.

The next day at work, Maan appears to be more gentle with Geet. Geet appreciates his concern and set to work on finding an important file. While searching for the file, she finds the engagement ring that Maan had abandoned in front of Sameera's flat. She decides to try and wear the ring and it was a perfect fit. Pinky drags Geet out of her cabin, not giving her time to take the ring off. She spots Daadima and Daadima spots the ring. Daadima is shocked and instantly thinks that Maan had engaged Geet. Geet doesn't know what to do and just goes back to her flat. She finds an angry Dev who tells Geet that he is going to kill Maan. Dev leaves before Geet could stop him.

Geet see's Dev drive away in a car. Geet steals a car, even though she doesn't know how to drive and follows Dev's car. She somehow notifies Maan that Dev was after him and Maan immediately sets off in his own car.

Dev tells Maan to prepare to die and he bangs his car against Maan's. Maan's car hits the pillar and bangs against the wall and Dev's car hit's Maan's car. Geet's car hits Dev's car as she doesn't know how to break.

Geet has injured her head but has not passed out. She drags Maan out of the car and see's that he is very injured. After that, she passes out.

Geet finds herself in a hospital. She immediately gets out of the bed and finds that Daadima is all alone, crying. She goes to comfort Daadima and finds that her engagement ring is still on. She does not tell Daadima that the engagement is fake. Geet finds that Maan is in a critical condition and slowly, his pulse begins to die. Doctors lost hope so Geet immediately barged in the room. She kisses Maan, and maraculously, Maan escapes the jaws of death.

Geet and Daadima go home and watch the Royal Wedding. Geet wishes her wedding to be like a Royal one. Daadima agrees.

3 months later, arrangements are going on for the wedding. When Maan comes back from work, he speaks to Geet in private and reminds her that this wedding his completely fake.

The wedding is successful but during the wedding, Maan feels slightly guilty but he pushes the thoughts to the back of his mind. At the wedding, Geet tells Sameera that this wedding was arranged and fake and they only did it to make Sameera jealous. Sameera is horrified.

At the end of the wedding, they kiss in front of the whole of Delhi.

The Wedding Night did not happen, but resulted in Geet fainting. Later on, they find out Geet is exposed to either Brain Tumour or Brain Cancer. If she has Brain Cancer, she will not live for very long. Maan is extremly worried.

The next day, they do a biopsy test.

Two days later, they find out that Geet has brain tumour. Maan finds out that he truely loves Geet and cannot live without each other. They kiss in the hospital, Sameera see's this and plans a plot to kill Geet.

The next day, Sameera stabs Geet which results in her going to the hospital in a very critical condition. Geet thankfully gets cured, and so does the brain tumour. When Geet comes home from the hospital, she finds that her Maasi Ji and cousins are at home. Maasi Ji blames Maan because he left her alone in the house at that time when Geet was stabbed.

Maan leaves the house and comes back as Balwant Singh, a driver from Mumbai. He is disguised in a turban, and a fake mustache. He speaks slight Punjabi during this plot.

Geet finds out that Maan has come back disguised as a driver and also finds out that he wants to win Maasi Ji's heart. Maan does all sorts of work in his own house including cooking, gardening, work, cleaning, and driving for the family. Later on, Geet also finds out that Daadima is involved in this plan.

Later on, when Nandani spots Geet and Balwant embracing, Geet explains that Balwant is actually Maan Singh Khurana. Nandani decides to be involved as well and helps.

The next day when Geet and Balwant come back from gardening, they find Adi has arrived at Khurana Mansion. Adi hands a file over to 'Maan Sir' in which Maan gets exposed from his disguise. Nandani explains some valid points on why Maan should stay and convinces Maasi Ji.

Later that night, the FF finishes with Geet and Maan consummating their marriage.

Authors Note

Hiya guys! I am very sad on ending this FF but oh well! The story can't go on forever can't it? If you want, you can imagine what happens the rest of the intimate night. I don't want to get banned 😆

Anyway, so now that I have ended this FF I need a new story idea and I need your help with it. What should the plot of my next story be? What should it be called?

Now you guys need to hurry because i'm one of those types who start a new FF the very next day. And just in case you didn't notice yet, My Other Half has been discontinued due to writers block. 🤢

But anyway, so IDEAS. I need bloody IDEAS. Please, please, please post your ideas in a post below and I shall consider it.
