Everyone took their places as they reached the table...Geet looked for Maan but he wasn't here yet! She gulped her saliva and turned to see if he was coming but the hallway was empty! She closed her eyes and prayed...

Please Babaji Maan ko jalthi lao...

Darji looked up at Geet and Geet unfolded her hands and looked down...he noticed she hadn't touched her food..it was like she was anxiously waiting for someone to arrive

Geet putar teri tabiath teek hai?

Ji Darji mein bilkul teek hoon

He noticed she was looking back over her shoulder ever few seconds. He looked around and saw everyone was at the table...who was she waiting for he thought. Maan came at 8:38...

Sorry I'm late and sat down at an empty seat right beside Rajji and across from Geet. Rajji twinkled in joy seeing her rajkumar beside her...Geet let out a sigh. Rajji pulled her seat close to his and purposely shoulder bumped him to make herself be noticed. Maan knew what she was trying to do but didn't mind rather he found it quite cute. He tried to be the better man in front of Geet

He gave her half a smile and turned to make a weird face. Geet kicked him from under the table and Maan looked up in anger. She didn't feel intimidated by his look...rather she reflected the same facial expression back at him! He ignored her and picked up his roti

Roko!

He slowly put the roti down and motioned his head to see where that deep voice came from. Geet had shown a picture of Darji to Maan...he also knew getting on his bad side was not a wise thing! He remembers her telling him that Darji is the sweetest person ever but Maan now thought otherwise.

Any guest...any member...any servant who do not abide by my rules are to be punished!

He looked at Geet but she didn't dare to look at him back, she had her head down at her food. He then looked at girlfriend and she gave a comforting nod

Breakfast starts at 8:30 am sharp, you arrived exactly 8 minutes later

Maan thought this was ridiculous...8 minutes late and this much hungama?? Clearly this was nonsensical!! He opened his mouth to say why he was late when Geet kicked him again...this time harder!

Geet stop it!! He shouted...Darji looked at Geet then at Maan. Girlfriend held her head thinking these two will never learn! Papaji tried to talk to Darji...he tried to explain that Maan was a guest and he forget to tell him about all this! But when it came to Darji nobody was able to change his mind except for that one person...Geet!

Jo bhi ho tumne is ghar ka niam thoda...saza toh tumhe miligi!

Darji was a very principled man but at the same time he was not inhumane! He let Maan and everyone else finish their food! Maan got up to wash his plate when Darji stopped him! Geet had gotten up half way but sat right back down curious to know what Darji will say to him

Tum humara guest ho aur Geet ki friend bhi is liye tumhara punishment sirf ye hoga ki aaj tum sabkey liye...kanah banaogay! He called Lachi their housemaid and gave her the rest of the day off.

Maan dropped his jaws...cooking and him? All he could make was pasta and black coffee!! Geet knew that very well...Darji got up and left with a hidden smile on his face! Geet and Maan were the only two at the table...

Geet ye sab tumhari vajai se hua hai!

Meri vajai se?? How is it my fault that you were late? Aur vaise bhi tum kar kya rahi thi Mr. Maan Singh Khurana??

Mein phone pe apni girlfriend se baat kar rahi thi, koi problem hai?

She opened her mouth in shock...she looked around at the table and picked up a jug of water to throw at him!

Oh Geet!!! She rushed near him and slipped on the floor pouring most of the water on herself. She made a crying baby face and tried to wipe some of the water from her clothes. Damn he thought he was going to lose his mind...she was drenched...his anticipation was growing, thinking so much about what he wants to happen! He took away the water drop that was placed at the tip of her nose. She smiled and shied away...he surprised her by lifting her up flawlessly and placing her on the chair. He reached for the towel and gently wiped her cheek all the way down to her neck.

She closed her eyes taking in his scent...she was so lost witnessing his masculine body that she forgot all about her anger towards him. He closed the distanced between him and her. He was just an inch away from her lips. She felt his breath touch her lips and reluctantly looked at him. This was the first time neither of them backed away from each other...they were both in love! It was evident...Maan could see it in her eyes but Geet still feared. He caressed her soft pink cheeks, which were now turning red and said...Mein Dadima ke saath baat kar rahi thi A small smile showed up on her face and they both giggled. Rajji came and was shocked to see them this close...she came near them and they both immediately parted. Rajji didn't stress herself too much...she knew if Geet didi were to fall in love it would be after a decade. She smiled and went close to Maan.

Tujhe kam nahi hai kya jo idar udar ghoom rahi hai...ja jakey paray kar! Next week teri test hai ya phir bhool gayi tu? She took her by the ear and guided her to her room. Maan went to the kitchen and got very confused seeing so many items...his head was spinning. Geet came...he gave her a tight hug for coming to his rescue!
