Suddenly drifting away from his trance, maan quickly rushed over to geet and brought a glass of water to her lips. geet.. yeh loh, peeloh. Saying this, geet brought her hands to the glass too, making her soft fingers touch his masculine hands sending little currents of a totally different feeling (that he is yet to discover ;) ) which he tried to ignore for the time being.

After taking a few sips of the water, she looked up to maan who was still holding the glass and assured him that she was fine. thank you sir, im fine now. saying this, a cute friendly smile formed on geets lips as she found him to so caring towards her. Taking a sigh of relief, maan came back to his own seat and told her to be careful onwards and there was also a little smile playing on the corner of his lips. Geet, youve really got to take care of yourself maan said to her in a serious but gentle tone. Geet nodded slightly in agreement and in awe that maan sir was so caring towards others. Ab main cya caroo sir, jab aap mainu itna hasaate ho? meri cya galti hain isme? hmm? geet began to burst into a little giggle, which was shortly interrupted with a very unamused boss sitting infront of her giving her a very stern and warnful look. geet, you better watch it! i would wish to remind you of who you are talking to. geet had instantly caught on that maan was getting angry so she immediately stopped giggling and placing her head downwards she said sorry sir, main bhoolgyi c.

Seeing that he had clearly upset geet again, maan swore to himself silently for ruining her mood again, so he decided to change the topic and told geet to eat. umm... geet ab khaana kalo. still with her head not facing maan, she replied, no sir im fine thanx. geet ab khaalo naa, um.. main yeh sab cese kaaskta hoon, woh v acele? I know.. have it as a piece offering... for all the stupid things i said to you before.. please? geet tilted her head back up to face a pleading maan. How could she say no now? ab to khaana hi parega geet, bhechara itna kehera hain.. hopefully this way he will lighten up too!

so geet smiled to him and nodded politely to maan sir who later grinned for his victory!

After eating their meals and geet doing most of the talking - mostly about nonsense and the most randomest things like why their are only certain colours in a rainbow to how she used to go to dhabhe all the time - maan paid the bill and lead geet back to the car. After him politely opening the door for geet to go in, he seated himself.

Whilst driving, so geet calnoo lye tiyaar rehena ok? or please don be late... you do remember the time dont you? umm.. yes sir.. 10.30am. good. ab office jaace sab varma and arora ci files and all the plans rakleyo apne paas ok? ji sir remember the stay can be for atleast 10 days, so apna samaan dhiyaan se rakna. ji Maan looked over towards geet to see that she had quite a worried look on her face. kya huwa geet? voh sir.. citni dher pehla auna parega hame airport? around 9 would be good. so then we can double check all the arrangements and documents. umm.. i sir, ok. maan saw that geet was stil quite worried and unsure about something. kya huwa geet, tum itni pareshaan kyu lagri ho? tum pahunch paugi na time pe? voh sir... geet began fiddling with her dupatta i have no travel arrangements actually. then she tried to reconcile with herself so she said oh! coi baat nhi, main savere savere taxi lelungi ya auto! with this a great smile appeared on geets face, but it shortly disapeared when she thought out loud, oh! par iska matlab hain camsecam 5 vaje utna parega! ajcal cya barosa autos pe, patanhi cab rucjandhiya ne yah fer petrol katam hojanda hai! uff !! saying this geet slapped her head lightly. Seeing the dilemma that geet was in, maan decided to help her out. koi baat nhi geet, main tumme cal pick carloonga tumhare ghar se. nhi nhi sir coi baat nhi, ill manage kamakaa aapco pareshani hogyi.. maan knw that geet wasnt going to listen to him this way so he said, agar yeh baat hain, fir main tumare ghar pe ic car bhejdunga acha? sir.. no arguing but.. geet, ive said it and thats final! geet knew that there was no point in her trying to fight a battle which she knew she was going to lose in anyway, so she agreed. tum tumhara address likdo or mobile number incase of any emergencies ok? jee sir geet wrote it as he had said to and by that time they had reached her office.

Maan walked her to the main gates and bid her farewell. Both of them smiled remembering the day they had spent together and walked the opposite way... both thinking how they met as strangers and are walking away as if they've spent their lifetime with each other. Maan smiling at the thought of how cute and innocent she is.. and geet smiling at the thought of how caring and thoughtful he is...

After sorting out all the files in the office with the help of veer, seen as though siddharth left straightaway leaving geet to deal with the documents and papers, geet went home. It was nearly 11.15 by then and geet knew she had a tough night ahead so she hurried off.

With the help of her loely friend avni, within 2 hours geet had everything sorted and around 1.30am she fell asleep.

The next day...

It was 6.30am and geet forced herself to wake up early and double check all the documents and went to get ready. She only just managed to get dressed with the great help of avni oh geet! im feeling so sorry for you ! avni went to give her sleepy friend a hug but geet just groaned half asleep as meeras arms flung around her. look at the state of you! you look like a zombie... now i know why you always insist on why you need to sleep so much! heehehehee avni broke into hysterics whilst geet fumbled on with her jhumke trying to ignore her friends silly remarks.

It was now around 8.am and geet was slowly drinking some lemon tea which avni thoughtfully made for her, thinking it will help her stay focused or hopefully awake!

Geets suitcase was all ready and packed placed on the living room floor, and she had an extra little suitcase which contained all the documents and papers for the project. avni was locking them up when geets phone started ringing.

Slowly she went to answer it...

hello? geet! main cabse phone carraha tha, tum pick kyu nhi cardhi thi? geet got a bit alert to hear maan sirs voice.. voh sir... main breakfast cardi c, sorry.. maan had a sigh of relief with the actual worry over that geet was actually awake! coi baat nhi.. tum tuyaar hona? umm, ji sir good and all the documents? ji voh bi tiyar hain cya geet?! tum cya boli jaari ho? lagta hain ce tumhari neendh abhi utari nhi hai! geet was begining to get very stressed out.. sir im sorry, mera matlab tha, documents maine sabh double-check carce rakliya hai in an extra suitcase... acha, tum tiya roho, mai 10 minutes vich aa raha hoon. ji sir after a few seconds it came to geets mind "kya!! maan sir aarhe hain mujhe pick up carnecelyi!!!" hello? hello sir?! before geet could say anything, maan had already put the phone down. Geet just groaned in misery thinking of the akwardness and how weid it would be when they have to drive their!

Just as maan had said, exactly 10 minutes later there was a knock on the front door. avni casually went to answer, whilst geet nervously fiddled with her dupatta, standing nervously. umm.. hello? aap geet co pick up carne celiye aye ho? geet didnt know how meera could appear to be so casual when she clearly knew that avni had a soft spot for good-looking men. ji mam, aap geet madam co please bulaye ji one second. geet was never ever so relieved to hear a strangers voice than today! huray! so mister maan singh khurana ne mere lyi car bhejdi! pheeww! geet smiled happily as she said goodbye to meera dont worry baba! i will call you soon tears were begining to fore their way out of avnis eyes as geet ment more than a sister to her and seeing her leave for as long as 10 days was very difficult for her, seen as though they had never spent more than 12 hours away from each other before! oh avni! please mat rovo! seeing the tears welled up in avnis eyes, geet couldnt stop herself either from become emotional and embraced ther best friend and cried with her. As she sniffle up her tears, avni said take care ok? and promise you'll call as soon as you can? ofcourse my sweet big sister! paka promise! gud! avni said attempting to put a serious face and tone... but it failed and both girls laughed together. maam please ayie main apka sammaan car vich rakleta hoon ji main aati hoon. Soon after avni and geet had said their goodbyes, geet made her way to the long, black spotless car that awaited her.

Waving goodbye geet opened the car door and without looking inside she placed herself inside. geet... AAH!! geet jumped back out of the car as she realised she was nearly sat ontop of maan!

Hmmm interesting whats gonna happen in the car and on the plane??

BTW yeah siddhant or whatever his name is...why does he arrange stuff for Geet...i thought he was her boss...why Maan??
