Chapter 3
Maan and Ronit both walked into the building...everyone stood up seeing Ronit...they all stood up and said good morning to both of them...Ronit waved his hand while Maan folded his hand and mummbled Hunuman Chalisa...Everyone in the office feared Ronit while he was the complete opposite at home....Sasha Ronit's secretary came running toward Ronit...she was holding a lot of files in her hand which obstructed her view....she ended up colliding into Maan...Sasha landed on top of Maan...Maan laid their like a statue with eyes tightly closed and folded hands still mumbling Hanuman Chalisa...other employees helped the two up....Ronit stood there watching the whole incident...Sasha was hell scared at what will her boss say
Sasha: Sorry Maan Sir (She tries to step closer to him to say sorry)
Maan: Dhoor Dhoor raho mujhse...kitni baar kaha hai mere samane nah aaya karo...
Trans: Stay away from me...I told you so many times to stay away from me...
Sasha: Woh maine aapko nahi dekha...mere haath main file thi
Trans: I had files in my head so I didn't see you
Maan: Meri sari tapasya bhang kar di...maine pehele hi kaha tha mera din aacha nahi jaayega (to his dad)
Trans: you broke all my tapasya...I told you my day won't go nicely
Ronit (Sighs): Iski bechari ki galti nahi hai...(to his office staff) aur kya man aap logo ko yaha kahre hone ki pagar deta hoon? Apna kaam karo..(in anger tone...all the staff quickly left hearing the anger)
Trans: this poor girl is not at fault..and do I pay you guys to stand here? Go and do your work
Maan: yeh aapko bechari dikhti hai...toh main kaya hoon? Aab mujhe Pandayji se milna hoga...
Trans: If she is a poor girl then what am I? Now I have to go see Pandayji
Ronit: Maan tum waha nahi jaaoge...office main kam pada hai
Trans: Maan you are not going there...there is work in the office
Maan; Mujhe shama kardi jiye pita shri...aab mujhe pooja karni pade gi....abhi mujhe Pandayji se milna bohot zaroori hai (Maan leaves the place...Ronit sighs and goes back in his cabin)
Trans: Please forgive me father..now I have to do pooja...it is very important for me to meet Pandayji right now

Trans: Hello this is Savitri Devi talking...Can I speak with Ms. Anushka please
Anushka: Namaste Dadima hum Anushka hi bol rahe hai
Trans: Greetings Dadima this is Anushka speaking
Dadi: Namaste beti..aap se intne dino se baat nahi hui toh humne socha ki ek phone karde

Anushka: Bohut aacha kiya...hum bhhi aapko phone karne ki soch rahe the magar time nahi mila....aap aur Madhuri bhabi kaise hai?
Trans: You did the right thing...I was thinking of calling as well but couldn't get the time...how are you and Madhuri bhabi?
Dadi: Hum dono theek hai...sab kaam par gaye hai...apni apni life main busy hai....(Madhuri signals Dadima to speak about Geet..Dadima signals her she will) aur haan hum aapse bohut naraz hai (Dadima winks at Madhuri...Madhuri controls her laughter)
Trans: We both are fine...everyone is at work busy with their own life....ohh yeah I am very mad at you
Anushka: humne kya kiya hai Dadima?
Trans: What did I do Dadima?
Dadi: Aapne bataya kyun nahi ki aapki beti Geet wapas aagayi hai apni padahi katam karke....
Trans: Why didn't you tell me that your daughter Geet is back after finishing her studies
Anushka: ohh sorry Dadima..woh saab aachank hua tha....actually woh aab Delhi college jaayegi...woh koyi extra classes lagna chahati hai....kehe rahi thi ki ghar se dhoor uska maan nahi lagtha...
Trans: Ohh I am sorry Dadima..all this happend so suddenly...acutally now she will attend Delhi Collge....she wants to take some extra classes....she was telling me that she couldn't stay far from home
Dadima (laughs): Acha hai ki woh wapas aah gayi hai...(Madhuri signals Dadima again...Dadima reassures her...) aap sabko Geet beti ke saath yaha aana chahiye...kal Dinner ke liye
Trans: It is good that she is back....you all should come here for dinner with Geet
Anushka: Sure Dadima..hum zaroor kal aayege...
Trans: Sure Dadima we will come
Dadima (smiles): Aacha toh hum sab kal milte hai
Trans: Alright then we will meet tomorrow

Dadima hung up the phone...both high-fived each other...
Madhuri: aab aayega maza...

Trans: Like I want to touch him...he is so stupid....did you see the way he talks and dresses....I am shocked that he is Ronit Sirs son
Pinky: aab uski raksha Pandayji karege..(all three laugh and went to their work)
Trans: Now Pandayji will protect him

A man sitting in the center of the room with garlands around his neck....two men stood on both sides fanning him slowly...in front of him sat group of men with folded hands listening to the man sitting in front....
Pandayji: mere bacho...aaj humare group main ek naya ladka betha hai....main derwaish karna chahta hoon ki woh insaan mere saath beth kar apni dhook bari dastan baataye hum sabko (Everyone clapped..the person stood up and sat near Pandayji's feet)
Trans: My kids....we have a new person among our group...I would like the person to come up to me and tell us his sad story to all of us
Person: Shukriya Pandayji....Meri biwi mujhe har roz bohut bolti hai...har roz uski koyi nahi farmaish hoti hai...main thang aagaya hoon...(Pandayji strokes his head)

Pandayji: Tum fikar mat karo..tum sahi jaga par aaye ho...hum tumhe sahara dege...(to the audience) dekha main nahi kehta tha ki ladkiya

Pandayji (hands him a locket): yeh locket leh lo...iss locket main meri tasweer hai aur uske saath ek mantra bhi...jab bhi tumhe koyi musibat aayi toh tum mera mantra padh lena...tumhari raksha karega....hum humesha tumhare saath rahe ge
Trans: Take this locket....this locket has my picture and a mantra....whenever you are facing some trouble read my mantra....it will protect you...I will always be with you
Person: Shukriya Pandayji (he takes the locket and joins the audience)
Trans: Thank you Pandayji
Pandayji: Haan toh main kaya kehe raha tha...(just than Maan came in and went straight to Pandayji) Maan bete kaya hua?
Trans: So where was I....Maan what happened?
Maan: Pandayji meri aaj sari tapasya baang hogayi...ek ladki mere upar ghir gayi...(all are shocked)
Trans: Pandayji today all of my tapasya was broken...a girl fell on top of me
Pandayji: kya? Yeh anghor paap hua hai....humne abhi aur iski waqt pooja karni pade gi...ladko pooja ki tayari karo jaldi (everyone quickly got up to prepare for the pooja....Pandayji grabbed a broom with peacock feathers and started hitting Maan's head...while Maan sat in front with folded hands)
Trans: what? This is a grave sin....we have to do pooja right now...guys prepare for the pooja fast
A guy: Pandayji Pooja ka sara saman tayar hai
Trans: Pandayji everything is ready for Pooja....
Pandayji: Acha....Maan ko uthao pooja ke liye
Trans: Pick up Maan for the pooja
All the guys picked Maan up and placed him in front of the pooja havan....Pandayji started perfoming his pooja and in between hitting him with a peacock feathered broom...Maan sat there with eyes closes saying Hunuman Chalisa.....this went on for half hour
Pandayji (at the end of the pooja): Aab uss chudail ka saaya tum par nahi pade ga...tumhe darne ki koyi zarorat nahi hai.....
Trans: now that witches shadow won't harm you anymore....you don't have to be sacred anymore
Maan: Shukriya Pandayji....aap nahi hote toh mera kya hota...
Trans: thank you Pandayji...I don't know what I would've done without you
Pandayji: Yeh lo (gives him a beaded necklace) yeh tumhari raksha karega
Trans: Take this...this will protect you
Maan (takes the necklace): theek hai Pandayji....aab mera mann halka hua
Trans: Alright Pandayji..now I feel some relief
Pandayji: Aur yaad rakhna sone se pehele tumhe pooja karni padegi aur tumhare saame ladkhi nahi aane chahiye aaj
Trans: And remember before going to sleep you have to do pooja and no girl must come near you today
Maan: Mere ghar main koyi ladki nahi hai bas meri Dadi aur maa hai
Trans: I don't have any girl at my home only my Dadi and my mom
Pandayji: woh dono bhi tumhare kareeb nahin aane chahiye aaj....dhoor rehena
Trans: They can't come near you as well today...stay away
Maan: Theek hai Pandayji...aab main chalta hoon..parnam (takes his blessing)
Trans: Alright Pandayji...I will leave now
Pandayji: Ladkiyan humesha tumse dhoor rahe (blesses him)
Trans: I hope girls always stay away from you

P.S. I NEVER brought this issue up before BUT I am not getting engh comments/likes...if there are majority of you that don't like this fan fic than let me know! I always take everyone's considerations and make changes to my fan fic according to how you guys would want it to be....so please DO let me know if you want to see certain things in this fan fic...😳
