Why does he want to shut her out devi? At some point they have to talk about salome right? is that because he doesn't want to complicate her life or because he feels like now she will know that he can never ever love again...or he is confusing her feelings are not genuine...

That was a really nice update! I also believe that gaurav was disappointed that vidya did not know what the memory was of.

Is he disappointed that she doesn't remember everything clearly or is it something else?
Did he say all this to her thinking she would not remember it while he would be able to share his secrets and relieve his burden?
I don't know why but gaurav's sudden change in behaviour is scaring me...why did he leave?
What underlying motive could the deviant SSP be referring to?

"The White Tiger" sounds interesting.

Well, that was a surprise appearance. Definitely didn't expect the SSP to show up. So Gaurav has found the mole in his group, was that the person who he fought? And what does the SSP have to do with that? Does he know the traitor?

So close, yet so far away. <--- So true. Everytime Gaurav and Vidya get close something or someone has to interrupt. Although, I have to say, I don't mind. This is getting so interesting. When they finally do get alone, truly alone, there's going to be sparks, actually make that a wildfire.

So the white tiger in Vidya's dreams isn't Gaurav? Then who is it? The happenings in her life, written in story form, are
beginning to take place in her dreams. But her dreams don't coincide with her stories. Because in her stories the white tiger is Gaurav, but in her dreams it's someone else.

Now Vidya knows that her hearing Gaurav's voice wasn't just an illusion, but her remembering things that Gaurav said during her "sleep."

"He was leaving her." I have a feeling that Gaurav is not coming back until Vidya leaves the day after tomorrow. I hope that feeling doesn't come true. Gaurav needs to talk everything
out with Vidya, even though he's the silent types. He's not used to having someone to tell all his secrets to, his whole life he's been lied to.

At the end of the chapter, I almost cried reading the last few paragraphs. I don't know why.

Weird that both of your previous FFs, The oldest story, and Love and Despair -- Mr. & Mrs. Kapoor and Dadi, never disturbed the couple..while in Maryada.. the family members just can't stop making appearances 😆
though they didn't make progress.. at least the traitor is caught, and seems like Gaurav gave him a good lesson!

After reading again..I am thinking he regrets vidya remembering stuff. He told that in confidence to her unconscious body hoping that he wouldn't have to explain it in person...ever..he wasn't counting on her sub conscious mind to register it.

But where is he going? What was the particular verse that she said so upsetting, he couldn't look beyond it?
