Chapter 10

Maan and Geet's nok-jhok and their friendship was only getting stronger. Maan's accident has made the two very comfortable with each-other as they got to spend a LOT of time with each-other. They both enjoyed each-other's company very much. This didn't get unnoticed by people around them because it was not something ordinary. One of the most famous guy in the school and one very ordinary girl spending so much time together is not something you witness in reality..ya..we all see that kind of friendships in movies or dramas but in reality..not really😆! How much weird it looked to others,two people never even gave a thought to this situation-Geet and Maan😊'!..Oblivious to what others might think,they just behaved there true-self with each-other..and to be frank it wasn't hard!..Call it some kind of connection or whatever but behaving themselves came natural when they were together😃!..

Exams were coming near and Geet had a hectic time as she had to make notes for two people-herself and Maan.She hardly found spare time with her girl-friends Prachi and Nupur.

Since the three lived in the same neighbourhood,they used to hang at each-other's place very frequently. When all three were together they had loads of masti and talked about lots of stuff but neither Prachi or Nupur ever questioned her friendship with Maan. They knew their Geet way too well and they were happy that this friendship had changed her in many good ways.

However,lately Geet couldn't join them for their masti sessions and so during one of such sessions they both started to talk about her and very soon the topic of Maan came!

Nupur- Geet is keeping all busy because of her item-boy!..gosh ..I am telling you Prachi he is stealing our Geet from us !

Prachi-Nupur,stop being a dramebaaz for some time atleast*giigles*

Nupur-haha..I am just kidding yar but I miss her and I miss us three together😔..at least you get to spend time with her at school everyday!..I am jealous!

Prachi-ya..if you call saying hi and hello and talking for two minutes here and there everyday,than yes I am spending some great time with her at school!

Prachi-ha,..now you find that funny..but no yar seriously she has been keeping busy. She wants to get good marks in 10^th boards and because of Maan's injury she has lots of work to do.

Nupur-hmm..I understand..I hope this Maan guy is not taking advantage of our Geet's kindness. I don't trust these famous item-guys.

Prachi-hayye..what do I do with you and Geet..!!..stop watching these hindi dramas you two!..seriously!!..

Nupur-its not like that..what they show is not totally false yar..most of the popular guys do behave like jerks!

Prachi-yes..Madam..why not!*sarcastically*..

Nupur-accha baba..forget it but you get my point..you sure na he is a nice guy!*concerned*

Prachi-my- dear-possessive-friend , you are not the only one concerned about Geet!..you think I would have let anyone take advantage of our Geet's goodness..NEVER..but Maan is not a bad guy..

Nupur*interrupts*-but he played so many pranks on her!

Prachi starts laughing uncontrollably.🤣

Nupur*confused*-why are you laughing?😕

Prachi-woh..*controlling her laughter*..you talked about pranks so I got reminded of Maan and Geet's prank on Gaurav yesterday!..it was EPIC in true sense!!

Nupur-what prank?..why don't I know anyting about it?😡

Prachi'arre..it happened just yesterday in school..I was about to tell you,..it just went out of my head..well here is the story:-

It was free period and I was sitting behind Geet's seat. We started chatting about something and Maan got busy with Gaurav!

Maan-hey Gaurav..you completed your chemistry project dude?

Gaurav-ya..it was not hard!

Maan-can you show it to me..I want to have a look and compare before submitting it in the next period!

Gaurav-ya..sure !

Gaurav couldn't find his lab file and started to panic..Geet looked at Maan with questioning eyes and he winked at her😉..Prachi could hardly understand what he meant but Geet seemed to get whatever Maan wanted her to understand!..😉

Geet*innocently*-What happened Gaurav?

Gaurav-I cannot find my lab file and we have to submit it in next period!

Geet*shocked*-haw😲..ab kya hoga!..iske marks to boards mein add hot hain!😲

Maan-arre re..Gaurav theek se dekh yar'

Gaurav's panic only increased!..The look on his face was like of a mother whose child gets lost in kumbh ka mela types!🤣

Gaurav-shit..ab mein kya karun..kahan chali gayi..I positively remember putting it in my bag today morning!

Maan-are you sure?

Gaurav-ya..kind of!

Geet-nahi nahi,,.not kind of😳..pakka se soch..zaroor tu bhool gaya hoga..theek se yaad kar tujhe 100%yakeen hai ki tune bag mein dali thi?

Maan-han..theek se yaad kar..you must have left it on your study table !

Gaurav who was kind of sure that he put the file in his bag was CONFUSED now..thanks to Maan-Geet😆

Geet-were you working on it last night?

Maan-phir tu table par file rakhkar so gaya hoga!

Geet-phir tu subah late utha hoga because you worked till late for it!

Maan-Geet looked at each-other and gave a winning smile😊 to each-other and gave a hidden high-five to one-another. Before Gaurav could notice it,they put on their fake worried faces!😉

Gaurav*highly nervous*-what will I do now?..oh..yes..I will tell Mam that I would submit it tomorrow and that I forgot the file at home!

Geet-and you think someone will buy that excuse?😕

Gaurav gave a look to Geet-I am not lying../I really completed all work on time!

Maan*assuringly*-Me and Geet believe you Gaurav,but Mam will think you are making an excuse..

Geet*innocently*-you know na,..how students always come up with excuses for not submitting work on time..and because of jerks like them even innocent people like you are also not believed!

Gaurav-Oh GOD..what will I do now!..I am screwed..!!

Geet*sadly*-I am so sorry for you..I wish we could help😔

Gaurav was almost on the verge of crying now!😭

Maan-chill dude,,..dont be sad..I think I can do something..but

Gaurav-but WHAT?

Maan*whispers*-actually..hmm..*looks at Geet who moves her head in denial,..so he says in normal voice again*forget it..we cannot do anything!😔

Gaurav saw this exchange of signals which was actually put for him to notice!😉

Gaurav*pleadingly to both Maan-Geet*-please tell me guys,..I know you can do something..please help me!..I will do whatever you say but please help me!

Maan*talks slowly*-Gaurav..actually what I am going to tell you is very secretive and you have to promise you will not tell it to anyone!

Geet*talks slowly*-and then you have to do what we ask you to without questioning us..and you cannot tell anyone about this,..NO ONE!

Gaurav*whispers too*-ok..what is it!

They all are talking very slowly as discussing something very private and confidential.

Maan-actually,me and Geet have some powers!

Gaurav-powers?😲

Geet-ya,..some special powers!

Gaurav is supremely comfused!😕

Maan-and we are not allowed to use these powers until someone is in great problem,

Geet-and since you are in serious trouble and our such good friend we cannot stop ourselves from helping you!

Gaurav looked grateful!😆

Gaurav-thanks guys but what can you do and how will you help me?

Maan-we are going to make your lab file come from your home to our class by magic!

Gaurav*shocked*-MAGIC😲😲😲!!..you can do that?

Geet*angrily*-you are questioning and doubting us?😡

Gaurav-no,no'mein to aise hi..sorry😔..please tell me what do I need to do now?

Maan-to perform the magic,we will need 1hair of our chemistry teacher and 10 hair of yours!

Gaurav-why her 1 and my 10 hair!

LOL🤣🤣🤣>'Maan and Geet only know how they controlled their laughter!

Geet-last warning Gaurav,.no questions or we wont be able to help!

Gaurav-oh..ya..sorry..but how do I get Mam's hair?

Maan-that you have to think,..but do it fast..the magic trick takes time and you are lucky enough that mam is in our class right now!..

Geet-go and take her one hair secretly!

Gaurav gathered all his courage and went to Mam's seat. He pretended to drop his pencil just near the chair she was sitting on and bend down to pick it up..Mam was engrossed in checking notebooks!.Looking extremely scared Gaurav's hand went a little near her hair and with great courage he tried to pull her hair in a jerk so she doesn't notice but what happened next was something which neither Gaurav nor Maan-Geet had thought of!😲😲😲

Chemistry Mam's wig came out of her head!!😲

The entire class's attention went to her and everyone fell out of their chairs laughing!🤣🤣🤣

Maan and Geet laughed like hell as they have been controlling it for a long time now!🤣🤣🤣

Only two people in the class were silent-1. Gaurav with an extremely sorry and scared face(😆) and 2. Chemistry Mam with a terribly angry😡 and embarrassed face😳!(🤣)

She shouted at the entire class and it still took a long time for students to stop their laughter. Gaurav came back to his seat relieved that Mam didn't say anything to him as she thought it to be an accident and all her anger went out on the entire class who was laughing their wits out and he was saved!

Gaurav*sadly😔*-Maan,now how will you do the magic,..!!..she doesn't have any hair at all!

Maan and Geet were SHOCKED!!they knew Gaurav was dumb but this DUMB!!..OMG>🤣🤣🤣'he was still upset thinking about how he will get his file without Mam having zero hair needed for the magic trick😲🤣!!..They both looked at each-other and composed themselves and controlled themselves from laughing which was becoming impossible with Gaurav's behaviour(😆)!

Maan*seriosuly*-actually,in that case we have another way!

Gaurav*excitedly*-WHAT?

Geet-you take your 10 hair,go to toilet and flush it..

Maan-meanwhile,me and Geet will say the magic words here and once you are back your file should be in your bag!

Gaurav-really!😲😃

Geet-yes ,..but make sure..only 10 hair,..no less,..no more!..

Gaurav*seriously*-ok..*nodded his head*

Maan-and don't come to the class before 15 minutes!

Gaurav-OK..

Gaurav went out of the class ,looking back from the door at them and giving them a thumbs up!👍🏼

They replied by showing him their thumps up👍🏼 and as he disappeared from the door,both fell out of laughter and laughed like mad🤣🤣🤣!

Geet*panting*-I know he just came from a village and is simple and innocent and DUMB but this DUMB*again laughs*

Maan*panting too*-haha🤣.."why my 1 and her 10 hair"..OMG🤣🤣🤣

Again both laughed hysterically and uncontrollably!

But as they saw his coming back,Maan slowly took out Gaurav's file from his bag and put it in Gaurav's bag!😉😆

Gaurav came and sat and desperately grabbed his bag to look for the file but was stopped by Geet!😲

Geet-one last step Gaurav,..you have to give your respect to the people who helped you and used their special powers for your purpose!

Maan-yes,..its the last and the most simple part of the magic..you have to shout Maan and Geet are the best!

Maan-Geet had a hard time faking seriousness.😆🤣..Both were thinking that one day they will definately think how they came up with such an awesome instant prank 🤣..they could not believe that without planning anything before they were perfectly blending with other's flow like they had preplanned everything!..it was amazing how they both understood what mischevious ideas were forming on the other's mind😉😃

Gaurav was desperate and it didn't matter to him what they were asking,..he simply shouted-

Gaurav-MAAN GEET ARE THE BEST!!

The entire class looked at him and so did the teacher😲 but shayad bhagvan ko Gaurav par taras aa gaya(😆) and just then the bell rang !..As it was second recess,teacher left the class only declaring to keep their lab files ready for submission for the next period.

As the teacher left,Gaurav opened his bag and was SURPRISED to see his file their. He had a look on his face like he found some long lost treasure. Now more than funny,Maan-Geet were finding this situation amusing! Gaurav hugged Maan and pulled Geet in the quick hug too!😊

Gaurav-you two are THE BEST!😃

As he broke the hug, Maan and Geet looked at each-other with mixed expressions😕. Gaurav left the class in a highly cheerful mood.😃

Suddenly the laughter-filled atmosphere had turned into a silent one!

Both sat on their chairs thinking something deep and looked lost!

Maan-Geet spoke at the same time-Is he for real?

Both looked at each-other and smiled..😊

Maan-you think we should tell him the truth?

Geet-you think he will understand the truth?*giggles*

Maan-how can he be so innocent and naive?🤔

Geet-true..I never thought ki aj ki duniya mein bhi itne seedhe-saadhe log hote hain!

Maan-I know..vo is duniya mein hi rehta hai vishwas nahi hota..

Geet-I think,,..because he grew up in village he has been saved from all the hard sides of life..!..he takes what he sees,..doesnt think too much about anything!

Maan-he is truly blessed than I must say!..😊

Geet-ya😊..you think we did a bad thing playing this prank on him?

Maan-we didn't have any bad intentions but still I don't know'all I know is that I came to know that people like Gaurav also exist in this world !

Geet nodded.Both smiled at each-other😊!

Geet-but one thing I cannot take out of my head!

Maan-what?😲

Geet-"why her 1 and my 10 hair"

Again both laughed their hearts out🤣🤣🤣!..This was a day which both of them will never ever forget!😆
